Hello Nairalanders, I have this Growth on my right wrist and i really don't know what it is or what caused it,i woke up one morning and found the growth on my wrist.

who has an idea of what this is and How do I get rid of this it's been there for a while.
it doesn't hurt but I want to get rid of it.

a minor local surgery at your General hospital. it's should less that 5k. it could re-grow tho. You will be advised to always wear a sport band or something similar after surgery to reduce the chances of regrowth

Please dont waste money on any surgery. This thing was once on my hand too and is caused by fluid gathering on that region of your hand. Just ensure when sleeping u keep that hand straight it will gradually disappear.

really...There were times wen it would become smaller like it's about to disappear but after sometime it would resurface and become very hard.

I have seen a doctor,he said they would have to cut it off I thought there was another way to get rid of it without surgery that's way I put it up on Nairaland...perhaps this is the health section�
