Yoruba is an ethnic group.

The North is a Geographical region consisting of 19 States with over 150 ethnic groups.

A Southerner is also not an ethnic Identity.

Compare likes with likes.

RTSC:

If the yorubas vote their own and the North vote their own, how will you defeat the North?

If the election is very credible, the margin of defeat would be unprecedented.

It took the North defeating a southerner for tinubu to gain relevance.

That trick is still in play and can be replicated.

SE/SS voted for Atiku (Obi), SW voted Buhari (Osinbajo). North voted Buhari. And the north is more populated than than the south. Who should win? Your guess is as good as mine. Now, the north knows their strength. If we can bring sb from Borno, and one from Benue or Kogi, as runningmate, we've won. That's the secret the south just exposed. This is a game, but politicians are gradually leading us to another civil war (God forbid).
A united South + MB is what PDP has been using to win the elections. But yorubas destroyed South unity and created a hole for the jihadists to invade.

If northern Nigeria, the region which has the least educated population in Nigeria insists on retaining apex political power in 2023, it's a one way ticket to disintegration of Nigeria.
Enough is enough.
Look at this one , who do you think you threatening? Last election how many southerner contested against Buhari and Atiku? More than 50 southerners contested the presidential. You decieded to vote Atiku and Buhari and ignore your southern brothers. So in 2023 northerners will contest. If southern Nigeria can not organised themselves then what's your point.

Obj was president, brought in most of the prominent ibos you know today, Jonathan came in and what happened to Yorubas? He even foolishly proclaimed ibos as the pillars of his presidency.
What southern unity are you talking about?

WORDS ON A MARBLE.

AFONJA ARE A JOKE.

THEY THOUGHT THEY DID SOMETHING SPECIAL IN 2015, BUT IT IS NOW LEFT FOR US TO SHOW THEM THE ERRORS OF THEIR WAYS.

BACKSTABBING AND BETRAYALS, NEVER PAY AS MUCH AS HONESTY.

With this kind of pain, it will be a mystery if you don't die before 2023.

But if you manage to stay alive till then it is still going to be a lose/lose situation for you because a Yoruba man will become the president.

I'm sure you won't survive the shock. grin

Ibo cannot win national election as a presidential candidate without Yoruba endorsement.

Go back to days of NCNC in the 50s and 60s. Its political base was Lagos. Get a list of the political mavericks of the NCNC, the ones that gave it success and you will see they were majority Yorubas, followed by people in what later became Midwest, and then Ibos. But after winning victories Azikiwe rewarded the Ibos above the Midwesterners and Yorubas. This is what led Akintola to make that popular broadcast warning Yorubas about Ibos.

Yorubas formed NCNC, formed AG, UPN, AD, ACN and now in APC. These were all very successful parties in their eras, either in opposition or in ruling.

Make a list of parties formed by Ibos and you cant find progress or popularity.

While Yorubas are eyeing Osinbajo as a legacy of Awolowo through his marriage and hoping he will run in 2023 so we can rally behind him.....in APGA Mrs Ojukwu, the legacy of Ikemba, was kicked out of Anambra and told she cannot be Senator because she is not indigene and told to go to Enugu. grin
This is spot on. However, it would be fair to say Buhari's APC is failure personified.

ESPECIALLY THE IGBOS AND IJAW, WE DONT NEED TO BE IN POWER TO BURN DOWN THE ZOO.

HAUSAFULANI UNDERSTAND THAT, IF EVER THEY CROSS A FINE LINE, WE WILL ARM OURSELVES AND FOLLOW DEM BACK TO THE NORTH FOR THE FINAL BATTLE.

WE ARE NOT PRETENDERS LIKE YORUBA.

IN FACT, AS IT STANDS NOW, THE AVERAGE IGBO MAN IS VERY ANGRY AND IT WONT TAKE MUCH BEFORE WE ARM AND GO TO WAR.
War already? Are you saying you guys have ditched Atiku so soon? You just couldn't wait for the election tribunal before romancing your Biafra dream again, could you? grin

Therefore, according to FFK, Osunbajo, Tinubu and Osiomole are no longer slaves to the North because of personal opinions of few Northerners.

I pity the South Easterners because they will most likely not have a say except playing the second fiddle by supporting another Fulani man like Atiku to spite their percieved Yoruba enemy/competitor.

The illiterate North is politically intelligent while the so called educated South is politically naive.

Except the British come back to redress the mistakes of 1914, Nigeria might never work.
just like afonjas played second fiddle to incompetent buhari since 2015. no amount of hatred or insult will stop us from praticalising the political lesson we learnt from the Jagaban of the world. "support the north against your southern brother and get a VP slot" is the game.

Biafra is my last option

Option 1 : Both parties field igbo candidate
Option 2 : one party field yoruber and the other field a notherner
Option 3 : Biafra

Fielding a yoruber in one party and an Igbo in the other party is No No No! We can't take that chance cheesy
How does option 2 favour your people, knowing full well that you lots refer to the Yorubas as slaves of the North? You don't mind being the very slaves you call others just because you don't want a divide to win? Funny!

The emboldened, sadly, is the reality that would hit most of you should either of the major parties present an Igbo candidate. You are trusted to deliver for the PDP and the North but never considered an ally. A Yoruba vs Igbo election would look like Real Madrid vs Kano Pillars match; unrealistic, but very brutal to watch.

no one says SE shouldn't contest. Their two known parties are both PDP and APGA while APC belongs to Yoruba muslims and Northern muslims. So everyone should ask their party for tickets. Simple as that you know.
lolssss fact is that come 2023 no matter what APC does PDP will be back to power. weda APC present a northern or southern candidate. in the last general election PDP made it clear to us that they are ready to reclaim power and that's by fielding a strong northern candidates. as for we the SE we are in with anything that terminate the APC and tinubu. we will gladly vote Abbubakar Shakau if that's the way to achieve this

Were you born yesterday? The last time power shifted to the South, it was a South South clueless drunk from Bayelsa who called the shots and shut out a part of the South while he favoured another part of the South, LEAVING HIS OWN REGION TO SUFFER!

Why should power return to a part of the South it left just recently? Anyone who wants it the most works for it. If you think the demands of one lapdog called Ohaneze or IPOB would see others drop powers on the laps of the Igbos then you need to think again. Any part of the South can gun for the position, it depends on who enjoys the best of alliance. This is Azikiwe 101,by the way.

He said in the spirit of fairness and equity but when you remind them of SouthEast they present you with plenty excuses of SE having no number in APC.

If it's about number then let the power remain in the north afterall it's a winner takes all and they have the number but if you want to mentions equity and fairness then be ready to stand by what it means to the latter not when it favours a section of the country.
they are too bigoted to accept what you just highlighted. APC cedes power to the south for fairness then it should be ceded to south east to complete the equity. but if south west should show up because they have a higher stake in APC, that a mouth to unfairness on the side of SE which also give chance to the north because they have the highest stake in APC. after all kano state gave buhari more votes than the whole of the south.

Where did you get that idea of Monolithic North from?

The North is more diverse than the South.

1) In the First Republic, The NPC, NEPU, BYM,1 United Middle Belt Congress etc were based in the North.
2) In the Second Republic, the Southern Minorities (Rivers and C/Rivers) were the saving grace for Shagari that gave him the needed votes to beat Awo.

In 1979 elections,
a) Shagari won in 7Ststed viz: Sokoto, Niger, Kwara, Benue, Rivers and C/River States.
b) Awo won in 5Ststed viz Bendel, Lagos,Ogun,Oyo and Ondo with appreciable votes in Kwara &C/River States.
c) Zik won in 3, States viz Anambra, Imo and Plataeu.
d) Aminu Kano won 2 States viz Kano &Kaduna
e) Waziri Ibrahim won in 2 States viz Borno & Gongola States.

2) In the aborted 3rd Republic with ONLY two registered Political parties,

In the North, SDP= 9 States
NRC= 10 States
3) In the fourth Republic,
ANPP, CPC and PDP had their bases in the North.

RTSC:

The most fortunate thing is that you don't even have a say in who becomes the Chairman of your own Local Government!

How you arrogate to yourself the powers to determine who becomes the President of Nigeria and your capability to prevent a whole Region from the Presidency is most laughable.
