The family of embattled Omoyele Sowore has expressed deep concern over state of health of their son.

According to a statement jointly signed by Deacon S.M Omoyeni, Olusegun Sowore and Robert Sowore, the Publisher of Sahara Reporters was allegedly ‘ injected’ with an unknown substance and beaten by one of the prosecuting counsel.

This development, they said happened in the presence of the Department of State Security Service(DSS) inside the Federal High Courtroom, where he had been summoned for hearing of a suit.

Sowore’s family said” We are seriously worried when this assault happened openly inside the courtroom, a court which is the last hope of the masses.

“Who knows what they might have done to him now that has been in their custody for months. Everybody can see now that President Muhammadu Buhari and the DSS wanted to kill our son”.

The aggrieved Sowore’s family appealed to all well-meaning Nigerians, Nigeria Bar Association(NBA), National Assembly and International Communities to rescue safeguard their son.

Let him enjoy his revolution in their custody.

He didn't know DSS will have "interest" in him before he went to shout revolution?!

He was ignorant of the literal and constitutional meaning of revolution?!

Or he didn't see words like 'protest' to use?!

Or he thinks it's beans to be popular like Mandela?!

See, the moment you declare 'war' on any government, just be ready to take anything your eye see.

I'm not saying Buhari is right but Sowore shouldn't expect my sympathy. He's building his career and reputation, I owe him nada.

He's on his hustle and I'm on my bustle. Afterall, Mourinho didn't leave his Spurs job to go and watch AJ.

And don't tell me he's fighting for any public good. All na wash and scam.

The thing is I don't see this man being released any time soon. Might even be there till 2023.

The only condition for this man being released is mass protest and not just any kind of mass protest but a huge one. (Which is not happening unfortunately).

Sowore is fighting a lone battle .....it's when he conquers that supporters will spring up from all nooks and crannies of the country to identify with him. The guy has gone through a lot, he deserves heaven, he has seen hell in the hand's of DSS already
