Asked if the governors failed to draw up the legal framework for the outfit before the launch on January 9, Akeredolu said the inspector-general of police and other “relevant security agencies” were consulted earlier.

Does this translate to legal framework.

Abeg u and draw up legal framework for Amotekun jare

Good. It’s for the best of the region and everyone residing peacefully in it. Our police have proven to be very useless.

Ebenezar2020:
I must earnestly commend the Yorubas for the spirit of zeal and unity amongst them.
Everything they initiate always culminate to success.
Yorubas believe in diplomacy and a civil strategy with a never-giving-up spirit to achieve their goals.
Amotekun is a success in the South West and it has come to stay.
Our brothers from the other region won't be Happy about this cos failure is their second name that's why they always envy Yorubas and call them Afonja. They believe in using lying propaganda, violence and hate speeches to agitate for their plans. That why they always end up failing and wailing.
Amotekun is here to stay.

Stop sucking his d*ck. As powerful as he is, he would have made himself an enemy of his people had he taken sides with the Govt. He had no choice but to tow this route. It's a smart choice non the less

Re: FG, South-West Governors Agree To Formalise Amotekun by pmoye(m): 6:58pm On Jan 23, 2020
This is victory, but let us not celebrate yet. You can never trust this Federal government led by our internal colonial masters, the Fulanis. Let us watch as events evolve very closely. The only reason they backed down from their it is illegal stance is because of the outcry of Nigerians from all parts of the country apart from our self-acclaimed internal colonialists, the Fulani.

If what has been witnessed is anything to go by, they will not backdown in trying to sabotage the operations of Amotekun. As much as possible Amotekun recruitment should be limited to indigenous people of the South West. The very survival of the network depends on this. I have not heard of Hisbah admitting Southerners and Christians into their rank. Amotekun has no reason to cater to the attempt to subject it to federal character.

Then we should start watching Tinubu and other self-serving elders very closely. Political favours will be promised to some of them on the condition that they render the outfit ineffectual. Open confrontation and shameful bullying from Miyetti-Rascals and equivalent individuals has not worked, they will certainly try to collapse the network from within. And the South West does not lack enough traitors and Judases who for a morsel of bread will offer their own mothers, daughters, sisters and wives to be raped by criminally minded individuals. Watch out for these traitors and show them they mean nothing to us.

And lastly, I will encourage the better people of the South East, the South South and the Middle Belt to as a matter of urgency follow suit by evolving their own security networks to secure their regions. Our people should no more be slaughtered by criminals that don't deserve to be human beings in the first place. And let us rally round give our leaders support. Any leader that is compromised let us treat their Bleep ups before they sell our security and lives to the highest bidder.
