Topic: Magnify Your Vision

The Spirit's Word: Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19 KJV

We are in a new month - one that births new things. Things just got better because we have entered a new season where the fruits of our labours are ripening. If you have tasted the power and glory of God in time past; He is saying to you that something even bigger is on the horizon. The opening Scripture is telling us to forget about the old wonders, and that we should broaden our imaginations and visions. When we magnify God in our hearts and minds, we see His mighty hand like never before. God is always ready to do something new. He never runs out of creative ideas to confound all that exists. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Consider all that He made in six days, what could possibly be so overwhelming for God? We must be ready with our faith on the line. Jesus couldn't do many mighty works in His hometown because they didn't believe, even though the power was readily available. God has been waiting for His people to tune up their faith. What shall spring forth? The supernatural is what it is. Whatever you have been believing God for is set to hit you like a rushing mighty wind, because the enemy only moves to prepare the way for the Lord. This way, God is glorified. We have seen all that the enemy can do, but I bet you, we have not even seen what God has in store for His people all over.

The wildernesses and deserts are the wastelands. They are known for their barrenness. Nothing good is usually found there. Satan has made them his dwelling place. However, God is about to bring life into them. Have you been barren in certain aspects of your life? Would you dare to believe God for an overflow? He doesn't want you to just get enough to get by. He is ready to splurge. God is not hoarding His resources in heaven. In as much as the enemy keeps stealing most of the things God gifted His children with, it doesn't mean they are exhaustible. God is ready to distinguish those that love Him. The gentiles are getting set to come to the light of the sons of God, those He will be lifting in this season. Isaiah 60:1-3. If you haven't been expecting Him, the wisest thing you can do for yourself and for those around you is to begin to wait on Him, and watch: for the glory of God is about to hit humanity in no small way. God is always good, and not perturbed by the devil. Have you been afflicted hitherto? For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2 Corinthians 4:17. He is coming to make your joy full. ✡️

Reminder: Enlarge God and His works in your heart, and worship Him continually. The glory of God is about to cover all the earth.

Topic: Power of the Gospel Insta: @tlb_ministries

The Spirit's Word: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16 KJV

God's power is inherent in His Word. Without the Word, there is no power. All through Scriptures, the power of God only manifests with the Word spoken forth. As true believers, we must understand that preaching the Gospel is a ministration of the power of God to the hearers. A lack of knowledge of this will make our preaching void and ineffective. Apostle Paul said, it is the power of God unto Salvation to those that believe. How could they believe when they were unbelievers? Because God has given every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3. Everybody has the capability to receive the Gospel which is the truth. Many don't accept it because of their self-will, and also the god of this world has blinded their eyes from this glorious light. 2 Corinthians 4:4. We were all once held captive by Satan, until we believed and were catapulted from his domain into that of God's dear Son. Our attitude should be one of love, in order to see the salvation of multitudes who are yet to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Love is the greatest aspect of God's power. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8. To see a harvest of souls like never before would require the ministration of love. Also, people are attracted to love, including the worst of sinners.

We cannot claim to be Christians, and live like the rest of the world. We are examples of Christ on this earth in our walk, talk and conduct. When we are not lacking in this aspects, we can trust God to make the power of the Gospel manifest in its fullness. Our hearers already believe in so many things before we tell them of Jesus. Among which are highly justifiable from the ill conduct of many believers all over the world. We can make evangelism easy on ourselves as the Body of Christ, by living this sacrificial life - a life that reflects what Christianity is all about, which is the cross. We can pull down those mental and psychological strongholds if we first reach out in love. Jesus told His disciples to wait to be endued with power before they went out to preach. We must back up our preaching with power. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are tokens of God's love to the world. We can help the lost in so many other ways before preaching. No one will see their spiritual decadence before what is physically obvious. We must be realistic in approach, and consider how God would want things to be. ✡️

Reminder: Winning the lost is our job on earth until Jesus returns. If we're not putting a priority on it, then we have lost our true purpose.

The Spirit's Word: God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Acts 17:24‭, ‬27‭-‬28 KJV

Truly, God is in heaven seated on His majestic throne. However, God is everywhere. His omnipresence can be perceived. Most importantly, He is in us and with us. If we really believe this, a lot of things would change about our approach when we sing and pray, and as we worship God. Many people still talk like like they are expecting God to come down from heaven. God gave us the Holy Spirit, Who is the third person of the Godhead. Matthew 28:19. How can we know this and still feel so far away from God? I hear songs that always depict God as a mystery we must cry and wail towards in order to see Him move. We are now the sons of God, begotten by Him through Christ Jesus. James 1:18. We are connected to Him in a perfect union. We say we want more of God. It is not in saying it, or singing it. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. James 4:8. No need for hypocrisy. He is as close to us as we are close to Him. Let's stop all these attitude that makes God a myth that is impossible to unravel. We can't know everything there is to know about Him, but all we need to know about Him is made manifest by Jesus who is the express image of His person. Hebrews 1:3.

The first point of call is to always reach out to the One within you, who is always with you. John 14:17. If we fail to acknowledge this truth, God will be far from us, even though He is near. And we will go on crying to heaven, shouting, and wailing to no avail. He has come for no other reason than to serve us. This may sound outrageous, but it is the truth. He is the Helper. Jesus also told us that He is a minister to men, even though He is our Lord. Matthew 20:28. This is a truth if not understood and applied properly, many would fall. Our intimacy with God is only via the Holy Spirit. If you claim to know Christ without acknowledging the Helper, it's just a mirage. The three are one, and glorify one another. No one can glorify Himself alone. The Holy Spirit must glorify Christ, and Christ must glorify the Father, and the Father in turn glorifies the Son. They are inseparable. All denominations must understand this if they are to walk in the power and glory of God. Our hunger or thirst for God has been quenched already. Jesus told us: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. He was speaking of salvation. John 4:14. What is required from believers is our fellowship. ✡️

Reminder: God is not moved by what isn't His truth. Let's stop mocking our righteous identity, and seek Him with a pure heart.

Topic: Precept Upon Precept Insta: @tlb_ministries

The Spirit's Word: Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Isaiah 28:9‭-‬10 KJV

We have something interesting here. God is saying He will teach only those who enrol in the feeding program. Those that, having begun with Christ, continue with Him. This is true. If you don't pay attention or incline your ears to the Word of God, He won't be able to teach you accordingly. Babes in Christ are to be weaned. Most times, it is not the fault of babes. Having laid the foundation, we must see that we build appropriately in the lives of new converts. Growth is a priority. God doesn't only desires children, but sons. This is because children are vulnerable, and easily preyed on by the adversary. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Galatians 4:3. Only sons rise up to challenges, and know what it takes to speak to the enemy at the gate. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Psalms 127:4‭-‬5. A spiritual youth is full of vigour and has attained tremendous strength to confront all enemy lines.

The Holy Spirit is our teacher, and His teaching brings impartation and nourishment to the spirit man. He will never rush you. It has to be one at a time, because you need to also apply the truths He empowers you with as you go. Precept upon precept, line upon line, is a strategic building mechanism in the Spirit. This ensures we are grounded, tested and strengthened. Apostle John the beloved puts it perfectly:... I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 2:14. It says we have overcome the evil one. Strength is what it takes to enforce such conquest in our lives. We must grow in stature and every wise spiritually. Strength is a very important characteristic in this kingdom, as it determines how far you will go. Without spiritual strength, God will not entrust power to you. It is strength before power because He doesn't want you to be a liability to yourself. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Proverbs 24:10. Don't be lazy to engage the Word daily, through the Holy Spirit, as it is our spiritual nourishment. Your strength is highly connected to your faith.
✡️

Reminder: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

The Spirit's Word: For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Psalms 5:12 KJV

The Christian is already righteous. We are righteous apart from works, but by faith in Jesus Christ. The sacrifice of Christ made this possible. Romans 5:17. By this truth, we are blessed and also favoured. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3. Have you concurred with these truth? Do you behave according to this priceless revelation. It pleased God in Christ to bless us more that we can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20. All that the Lord represents is available to us. We are joint heirs together with Him, who owns the world and all that it contains. Psalm 24:1. The same way Jesus had favour with both God and men, is what He has given to us. Luke 2:52. He grew in these blessings. Also, the favour of God comes with God's protection (shield), because the enemy attacks anything good. The better it is, the more prone it is to Satan's onslaught. He is a thief. Why is this important? Maturity determines what is made available to you per time and season. All things are yours. 1 Corinthians 3:21. But not all things will be made available to you. Responsibility determines what the Father will make to you for that time or season. Being a son of God also comes with responsibility.

Have you been faithful in the House of God, or with His work that's committed to your trust? Hebrews 3:5-6. Purpose and the blessings are tied together. We need to understand this as believers. He will always provide for us as we show we are capable of handling them. God is not in anything selfish or greedy. He won't patronise us if we are focused on self and the various lust we nurture - to be seen and esteemed by men. We must seek the honour that comes from God only, just like Jesus did. John 5:44. God hears our hearts louder than our words. We may say many things, but if it doesn't line up with our hearts, it is still a far cry away. This is why we are told to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that every other thing we need and desire will be added. Matthew 6:33. Recall that Jesus always gathered the leftover fragments from the miracle of loaves and fishes He multiplied to feed the multitude. God is not a waster, neither can He allow His spiritual resources expended in a carnal or lustful situation. Blessings and favour are from God alone. Psalm 75:6. If we would value heavenly treasures, they will always be made available to us for every good work, like giving. ✡️

Reminder: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV

Topic: God's Fountain and Well Insta: @tlb_ministries

The Spirit's Word: And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me? Wherefore the well was called Beer–lahai–roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
Genesis 16:7‭, ‬13‭-‬14 KJV

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
Genesis 21:19 KJV

The above verses are related to Hagar, Abraham's concubine when she fled from Sarah's harsh treatment. Fountains and wells refer to source of life. Jesus refers to salvation as a well within us springing up into eternal life. John 4:14. As believers, how do we draw from the wells within us. It is not surprising that God uses the term wells and fountain for the first time in the Bible with reference to man, with Hagar. She was a bondwoman, but God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10:34. He did this as a symbolic gesture to the gentiles who would receive eternal life thousands of years later, because the Jews didn't see themselves worthy of it. Acts 13:46. We are saved, but for many the well within isn't springing. Nature teaches us we can have dry wells, and bubbling or springing wells. Isaac's well was called Rehoboth, meaning fruitfulness. Abraham's servants, and Abimelech's strove over wells in his day. The same thing happened with Isaac. The enemy is always on the prowl to snatch this life we have in Christ. Matthew 11:12.

Hagar was twice wandering in the wilderness. The wilderness refer to our seasons of testing. Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1-11. In Hagar's first wandering experience, there was a fountain but she didn't have anything to do with it. She called the place, '' God sees me''. It was only in the second encounter that God opened her eyes to see the well, which she drew from. Kadesh means holy, while Bered means hail or worship. It is no coincidence that her eyes were opened between the junction of consecration and worship or praise. Recall Prophet Isaiah says: Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 12:3. Also, without holiness no man shall see God. Hebrews 12:14. God's eyes are ever upon us, but what counts in the kingdom is for the Lord to open our eyes. Have you been dry even as a believer? Do you want the well within you to spring up waters and rivers of life that produces all round glory, honour and fruitfulness? Be consecrated to God, and praise Him continually. (Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4).
Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind. Luke 4:18. If you have ever taken your vision lightly, it's time to change that. ✝️

Reminder: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18. Read Numbers 33:9

The Spirit's Word: Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Hebrews 13:9 KJV

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV

I believe every believer knows that no man is justified by works. We can't and will never be able to boast before God by our works. It doesn't matter what we accomplish for the kingdom, it must be by grace. 1 Corinthians 1:29, Ephesians 2:9. The second opening scripture was Jesus' Word to Paul. We must be established with His grace only. Works are only a proof we love Him. John 14:15, 23. However, it is not our love for God that saves us, or delivers us. The Bible tells us of the riches of His mercy. 1 Peter 1:3. For this reason, Satan cannot condemn you, or accuse you. Romans 8:1, Revelation 12:10. The enemy still goes around, parading like he has the right to. Ignorance of truth will make us fall for his devises.

In every situation we find ourselves, Jesus is more than enough. When it seems like we can't take hold of this abundant grace He has lavished on us, all we need to do is rest in His finished works. Issues like unforgivenness, bitterness, and resentment can cut short or make His grace seem far from us. We cannot give the enemy a foothold by holding a grudge against someone who Christ also died for. This is how we are established with grace; by disallowing any connection or network to the enemy. His grace is what qualifies us to do the things He has commanded us. Even when you don't do anything for the Lord, His grace will still get you to heaven. However, grace is not a license to sin because sin makes you its servant. And this can only lead to corruption and an eventual death. Romans 6:16, 23. The just shall live by faith. ✝️

Reminder: Jesus is more than enough. We cannot add any other thing to His works, which has translated to Grace for us all.

The Spirit's Word: And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Matthew 8:28‭-‬29 KJV

Demons are evil spirits. I don't believe knowing their origin matters to the Christian. What matters is that we know they are the cause of most problems humans face, and the believer has been given authority to cast them out. They were always afraid of the Lord, and his anointed servants because they fear being tormented. Demons either possess people or attach themselves to people to influence negatively. They are just carrying out the mission of their master, who is Satan. They cause people to sin, and they hope to destroy whoever they have a hold on. We must not yield to their suggestion because the believer is far above them. If you don't know, any believer can cast out demons. Mark 16:17. Knowledge and faith is what you need for them to obey you. There are issues of the flesh associated with demons. Galatians 5:19. The more you yield to the flesh or carnal nature, the more you are likely going to have a demon attached to you, even though you are a believer.

The believer is far above the elements and cohorts of darkness. You only dwell there when you give them room. They can't ascend to where Christ is, where we are seated with Him. Ephesians 2:6. When you yield to the flesh, you pay them a visit and they can afflict you in their territory. We were not designed to leave our seated position of rest and authority. You can't beat the enemy in his territory. Thank God for His grace and mercy. We are always restored when we return. Don't let demons have a filled day by yielding to their desires. Jesus told us they wander in dry places seeking rest. Matthew 12:43. That's tormenting enough for them. Don't let them find that rest in your temple which belongs to God. We must also know they never give up. They have been on earth since only God knows when. This calls for perseverance and steadfastness from the saints of God. The devil goes about like a roaring lion. He is not ubiquitous. His network of demons give him classified information about his target. We succeed when they find no place in our lives✝️

Reminder: When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

The Spirit's Word: And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Luke 6:12 KJV

It doesn't matter how close you are to God, there is always room for more. As we minister to the Lord in prayers, intercessions, fasting, worship, meditation and studying the Word, He will always let us know there is a deeper and higher place we still have not gotten to. In His days, Jesus would spend some nights praying without even sleeping. With God, there is no limit to what we stand to receive. It may sound outrageous to be all out like this, but God gives more grace to whoever is willing. Our bodies can be subjected to things we never imagined, because the spirit is master over the flesh. There is so much to do while ministering to the Lord. He deserves our time and energy. Mary chose the better part over Martha just because she listened at Jesus' feet, while Martha was busy with service. Luke 10:41-42. Tarrying in His presence is the same as being in the Spirit. When we have quiet times, void of noise and carnal distractions, our spirit is attuned to God. We must give God time. The more of our time we give to Him, the more of Him we see manifest in our lives. It's as simple as that.

The Lord told me recently, He is about to pour out His Spirit in a dimension we have never seen, and that it would '' rain'' in every place. However, only those who have paid the price and are in real expectation of this Glory would receive the fullness of it. This is why it is important to lay aside everything that is not profitable to the will of God in this season. The enemy has been having his fill, but we all know God shows up when the enemy's cup is full. We have to be ready, fully prepared for what is coming. Be encouraged. Notwithstanding, His grace and mercy hasn't changed. It is still an act of His amazing grace God does what He does. Let us not be weary in waiting and watching for His manifest glory that is about to be revealed. This is a season where intercession for all men must not be taken likely. We must intercede so that the enemy doesn't get the better of some, before the Lord finally reveals what He is about to do. If you still struggle with one sin or another, there is no better time to lay aside such weight and fully turn to God. ✝️

Reminder: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

The Spirit's Word: And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy. And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
Acts 9:33‭-‬34 KJV

I have met Christians with ailments who told me God cannot do all things, like heal them. They believe He heals, at the same time believe their ailment is beyond His power. I have also met some who believe God wants them that way, but have provided a routine observance of things to do or avoid to keep them temporarily fit. I have also met people who believe God wants to heal them, but do not know how to receive their healing. God can do all things, and you are just one human being in His sight. Don't even begin to contemplate such ideas that your problems are what the doctors say they are - incurable, terminal, etc. As a believer, we live in the realm of the supernatural. We are a people of faith. Hebrews 10:38.
Healing is received when we get the Word into our heart, and agree with it. There must be an agreement in our heart, mind, and body. Jesus took all our sicknesses and infirmities. Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24. For this reason He went to hell and rose again. He took our sickness to hell, and left it there. Don't receive it back from Satan.

This means we believe and acknowledge it by meditating on it as often as we can; we make it part of our consciousness as we confess positively always, not just because your pastor said you should keep saying, but because it has become as real to you. We also conform our bodies and behaviour to what we believe and confess. Sometimes, we must use violence. Matthew 11:12. It may not respond as quickly as we would want it. This doesn't mean we give up. Most things in life are gotten by perseverance. Let the weak say I am strong. Joel 3:10. Don't affirm the situation by behaving the way a sick person would behave. Faith won't kill you, even though it might look like you would die. Far from it, there is a threshold your faith level will attain that a reversal of the death cycle begins, and you must continue in faith. The Word of God is our life source, because the Word is God Himself. John 1:1-4.✝️

Reminder: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

The Spirit's Word: O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord , all the earth. Sing unto the Lord , bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
Psalms 96:1‭-‬2 KJV

God wants us to sing new songs to Him every time we can. When we worship God, there is a creative side we can always dive into because the Holy Ghost is being stirred up. 2 Timothy 1:6. We are sons of God, having the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16. This means worshipping God must not be mundane or stale. That's why we are told to sing in the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:15. You can't imagine the manifold blessing that comes with this simple, yet powerful instruction. If you would let go and turn to the spirit in your praise and worship, new songs are always given to you. I experience it every time with a fresh release of spiritual energy and refreshing. When you do this consistently, you would even feel the Anointing all over your body, and I don't mean goosebumps. Any emotional high can bring goosebumps and pricks all over you but the Anointing is different, and you would know it. When your body begins to feel like electricity, or being dipped into water, or pulses running all over you, etc.,that's what I'm talking about. It happens because God lives in you. You may not feel it all the time but you'd know it. We walk by faith, and not by sight. 1 Corinthians 5:7.

Why is this important? You allow the Holy Spirit do a thorough and quickening work in you. You also get new songs that can bless the lives of other believers. Some of the songs which are sung in tongues, eventually inspire sentences in your understanding which can bless many. This is highly Prophetic as you get edified along with your hearers. Tongues and interpretation brings about comfort and edification. 1 Corinthians 14:26-29. We also minister to the Lord in a higher way because we are priests. Revelation 5:10, Acts 13:2. If we are all priests, then are we all levites and singers. Some are called to this as a ministry (of helps). 1 Corinthians 12:28. We must take up our roles in ministering to God as our sacrifice to Him. And we must believe that the Holy Spirit, who is the Helper, is ready to make the best of our experiences in worship. King David wrote and co-wrote 150 psalms, being an old Covenant believer. I believe it could have been more, how much more a new testament believer. If we would trust God, our worship would be the most colourful. Songs are a fundamental aspect of God, which is joy. ✝️

Reminder: Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

The Spirit's Word: Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:5 KJV

The new testament priest is different from that of the old covenant. We have a High Priest in the person of Jesus. He entered into the Holy of Holies in heaven with His blood and purged sins forever, and is now seated at the right hand of Majesty. Hebrews 8:1. Jesus has fulfilled every carnal ordinance. Those things done in the old covenant were only a shadow of the heavenly reality. Colossians 2:17, Hebrews 10:1. The renewed priesthood entails offering up to God spiritual sacrifices, not physical or carnal ordinance. We are built up into a spiritual house. What are these sacrifices? Romans 12:1 gives us one of them: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Our earthly bodies are the present temple of God. We must live consecrated lives, totally dedicated to the service of God. The blood of Jesus is available to cleanse us as we walk in the light, which is His Word. 1 John 1:7 John 1:1-4. A priest is a symbol of holiness. Exodus 28:36.

Jesus offered up His body and blood as a sweet smelling sacrifice to God. This implies we must walk in love. Ephesians 5:2. He gave us the communion. Recall the priest and his household would eat the animal sacrifice in the covenant of old. It was termed holy. As we partake of the holy communion, we partake of His life. John 6:53-56. Our worship is a spiritual sacrifice. It is called the fruit of our lips and the sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15. We must do this continually. This is why joy is a big deal in the kingdom. God lives inside of us, and He dwells in an atmosphere of praise. Psalm 22:3. Hebrews 13:16 tells us our giving to the poor and needy is also a sacrifice well pleasing to God. We must stand up for the oppressed around us. Don't take this lightly, because God's heart is endeared towards the poor. Finally, our prayers and intercessions for all men is one of the most important. A priest's responsibility is to stand in the gap between men and God. We do this by our intercessions. Praying in the spirit is the effective way to go about this, because we don't know what to pray for as we ought. 1 Timothy 2:1-3, Ephesians 6:18, Romans 8:26-27. The altar of incense in the old tabernacle is symbolic of the prayers of the saints. Revelation 8:4.

Reminder: Every priest should hear the voice of God. Numbers 7:89.

The Spirit's Word: He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
Psalms 101:7 KJV

It is quite unfortunate how we live in an evil generation, where even believers use the ways of the world to get by. Evil is staring us in the face at every corner. We can't call what is despicable or vile a weakness, neither can we change the nature and will of God. Let's not even look at the fact that grace and mercy is highly abused in our day. I want us to see this from the position of being born again. The Bible tells us that being born again means a new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17. We are also told we must not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by renewing our mind. Romans 12:2. This is our new reality. Some go about preaching that you don't need to do anything about who you are, but just live by grace. The opening Scripture tells us no worker of deceit or lies will stand in the face of God. We are told to judge ourselves so we won't be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31. The sad thing about this is that many have vowed not to change. If you really hate the fact you still engage in these ills, at least there's hope for transformation which is only possible by the power of the Holy Ghost. For some others, it doesn't cross their minds. They are persistently enshrined in deceit, and so they try to mock God, and His grace. It's tomfoolery.

Let's look at it as humans beings. I know for a certainty that there is no one who wants to be lied to. Neither is there anyone who'd trust a liar or worker of deceit. Yet, some continue to do unto others what they would never want to be done to them. Jesus came with grace and truth, not grace alone. Grace is not a substitute for truth. John 1:14. All liars are destined for hell. Revelations 21:8. We can't live a life of guile and craftiness, and still bow the knee to the Lord. He frustrates the tokens of liars, and turns '' wise men'' backwards. That means a journey to hell. Isaiah 44:25. He also disappoints the devices of the crafty, and traps them. Job 5:12. Don't let the Lord set you up for destruction. You may not be an upfront liar and worker of deceit, but search your heart. Are you always trying to be wiser in your eyes? There is no small lie, or white lie. It's called evil counsel, which is against the Lord. Stop that manipulation of facts and figures at your place of work. Desist from crafty schemes against friends, family, and acquaintances. When you want to always be ahead of others, and you don't mind going against the truth of God's Word, you are really in bondage. John 8:32, 44.

Reminder: A liar is a messenger of Satan, because He is the father of lies. Decide to live a life of truth. It starts from a change of mind.

The Spirit's Word: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord , that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3 KJV

Honour from men is good, but can't be compared to the one God gives. Everyone desires honour, but the wise seek it from God. We are honoured by God after we have honoured Him. 1 Samuel 2:30. One of the ways Jesus told us we can honour Him is by serving Him. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
John 12:26. When we serve God, we shouldn't look to man for a reward. That's not service but hire. Those who truly serve God have their eyes on the Master as their source. Jesus washed His own disciples feet. That's how far He can go to honour any man that truly honours Him. He did it for Esther, Mordecai, Ruth, and so many others. Our hearts must be one with Him when we go about to please Him in the things He has called us to do. Our giving to the poor, orphan, widow, fatherless, etc., is another way of honouring God. We share in their pain, which is His pain. 1 Timothy 5:3. As we honour Him with our time, finances, gifts, etc., He'll honour us too.

The opening Scripture shows us various ways God can honour us. He gives us beauty for ashes. This means you are celebrated by both angels and men. Ashes symbolises nothingness. There is no substance to it. However, beauty attracts every eye. This draws men to you, and Favour comes with it. Psalm 45:12. Think about how so many folks spend so much to look beautiful. It is nothing compared to when God beautifies and decorates the life of who He wants to honour. The oil of joy for mourning is an Anointing that produces gladness and excitement all of your days. No sorrow or down moments. You won't find a reason to be moody, no matter how hard you try. Psalm 45:7. Because it is an Anointing, you would be a solution provider to as many that God brings your way. Finally, a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness is an empowerment. This attacks and fights off every evil spirit around you. A garment is a cloak or mantle like what the prophets of old used to wear. 2 Kings 2:9-14. Only Spirit can fight off spirits. The Holy Ghost mantles on you, and no devil can stop you, as long as His praise is continually in your mouth. Psalm 34:1. It's all to His glory.

Reminder: And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
Esther 8:2 KJV

The Spirit's Word: For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
I Corinthians 2:11 NKJV

Before the Lord was crucified, He told His disciples that He had many things to tell them which they were not yet mature to receive.
Hence, the promise of the Spirit of Truth who would bring about a revelation and illumination of deeper things. John 16:12-13. The Word and the Holy Spirit is all the believer needs on earth to make good success, prosper, win and overcome in every situation. We can't know this things of God if we are not in sync with the Holy Spirit. It is not enough to have the Word. Your Bible will not profit you without the Holy Spirit. You can't afford to isolate Him, or neglect Him. He takes from Jesus, and shows to us. He came to partner with us in order to glorify Jesus. We are not of the world, hence we acknowledge Him, even though we do not see Him. The world can't receive Him because they are only guided by the five senses. John 14:17. We must be spiritual people with a seeing eye, and a hearing ear. We walk by faith, and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. We walk and live by every Word of God. Matthew 4:4.

As we are connected to Jesus through salvation, we are one Spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17. Our spirit isn't independent of God's Spirit. How do we touch the things of the Spirit in order to claim or apprehend all that God has for us? Our minds must be renewed by the Word. Romans 12:2. The mind is the bridge between the spirit realm and the physical. Is your mind subject to the spirit, or to the carnal or natural? The more we read, study and meditate on the Word, we ought to be transformed if we continually practice what we behold in it. If we don't do the Word, there is no transformation. This is where the blessing is. James 1:22-25, Joshua 1:8. Jesus told us His Words are spirit and life. John 6:63. Every change starts in the spirit realm, before we see it happen on earth. Hebrews 11:3. To hear the voice of the spirit, we must be conscious of His abiding presence, talk to Him, listen to Him by having quiet times, engage Him in our daily affairs, and give no place to the devil. Ephesians 4:27. If you are living in sin, Satan would be speaking to you more instead, because sin is his environment, and it gives him an edge. Make your ways right, and appropriate the blood. However, we are the righteousness of God through faith in His Name. We must be a people of faith, and His Word, to maximise all that He has for us.

Reminder: God longs to speak to you, and show you great and mighty things. Keep calling on Him, and living the faith life.

The Spirit's Word: And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
1 Samuel 17:34‭-‬35 KJV

When we read the Old Testament, a lot of secrets are embedded in it. Most of the New Testament written by Paul, Peter, John and James were taken from the Old, with a modification based on the finished work of Christ. The opening Scripture shows young David, Shepherd of His Father's flock. We are the flock of Jesus, who is our Shepherd and Saviour. Imagine those sheep out there in the wild without the Shepherd close by, they would be easy prey for the lions and bears. We are the sheep, and lambs of Christ. John 21:15-17. Most of us have seen documentaries on wild life, and how these animals prey on the weak ones. Can the biggest sheep stand up to a bear, or a lamb bleat a lion off? It's impossible. Lions and bears speak of demons and evil spirits. Psalm 91:13, 1 Peter 5:8, Daniel 7:5, Revelation 13:2, Proverbs 28:15. We can do nothing against these wicked beings if the Lord is not with us. John 15:5. It is very important we abide in Him, so we can bring forth fruits of victory. Romans 8:37. Jesus will only help you when you remain with Him. Most shepherd's and herdsmen will tell you once a sheep or goat strays, it's open season out there. Have you strayed away from the fold? Cry out to Him now, and He will come to your rescue.

Again, recall the violence that filled the earth before the flood. The giants, which were offsprings of fallen angels and women, began to destroy man out of their wickedness. It's okay to imagine a little of what must have happened. The giants were strong and men of renown, having the fallen nature of devils. Genesis 6:4-5. Obviously, there was oppression. They saw that they were different from man, and wanted to rule over them. Also, there was no way man could meet up with their daily feeding considering their size. The violence must have meant that they killed and cannibalised man for food. If God hadn't sent that flood, only those giants would remain on earth, and man would be long extinct. God's grace found Noah, and his household. That was what preserved humanity up till date. The devil wants to kill and destroy. Only God's grace keeps him at bay. However, we must understand that grace is Jesus Himself, and we ought to abide in Him to be safe, because He is our ark. We abide in Him by letting His Word find expression in us, and through us. The Word is our source, and so, we are preserved thereby. James 1:18.

Reminder: The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Topic: Anchor of Hope ✝️

The Spirit's Word: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Hebrews 6:18‭-‬19 KJV

An anchor is maritime vocab. It is used to keep ships and other sea vessels fixed to a spot, in the face of storms and tides that can run the ship out of position, and course. Hope ensures we're never lost. Hope is a preserver of life. If we understand what hope entails in the kingdom, we'd never be moved. The Word of God validates our hope. It doesn't matter what life throws at us, we must be resolved and affixed on God and His Word. He has said, He will never leave us, nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:6. Without hope, life would be bleak and miserable. Have you noticed despite the problems and ills faced in the world, which can send one into forlorn and depression, we still continue with life. That's because there is hope. Even if it looks hopeless sometimes, never let it get quenched. Hope births life. Hope sustains life and posterity. It is our only consolation. Why is it a consolation? For we are left on earth, being pilgrims, knowing our home is in heaven, and that Jesus will come for us. It is our consolation, because we shall be just like Him on that day of His appearing. 1 John 3:2. Glory to God.

The Bible declares: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:3. The subsequent verse talks of our inheritance which is in heaven. We must never lose sight of our incorruptible crown that's reserved for us. This is why we mustn't live life like the earth is our home. In all that we do, we must have our eyes and hearts set on the kingdom of God. Many are not ready for it from the way they live on this earth, which will fade away. Amassing wealth, and building vain legacies wasn't what our fathers did. They had their eyes set on heaven, as the world wasn't worthy of them. Hebrews 11:38. When we set our heart to be as comfortable with earthly pleasures, we give off a sign that the earth satisfies us. Peter warmed himself with the world, and so denied Jesus thrice. John 18:18. We must never get mixed or mingled with the things of the world, which is opposed to God. Only a thin line separates those whom the world is not worthy of, and those who make this world their friend. How are you representing your Lord?

Reminder: For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

The Spirit's Word: And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Genesis 17:1‭-‬2 KJV

God is in the business of searching for men whose heart is perfect before Him. We do not know how to find God, until He finds us. The Lord told us the disciples He chose was given to Him by the Father.
John 17:24. God found Abram, and made a Covenant with Him at the age of 99 years. Abraham became all that God said he would be because He believed God. Believing God is what it takes to enter into this inheritance that Abraham got from God. Romans 4:20-22. Isaac, being the offspring of that Covenant, is a shadow of the true, which is Jesus. Galatians 3:29. When we come into Christ, we also enter into this inheritance. 1 Corinthians 3:21-22. When we believe God, we would never be put to shame. God always respond to our faith. It's not enough to know this, we must agree with it. We must behave accordingly. We must say the same things by the Spirit of Faith. 2 Corinthians 4:13. Faith is a big deal to God. Hebrews 11:6.

Believing Is staying with God in our heart, mind and body. These translates to our whole being and character representing what God stands for. We trust Him completely. Every action we take, and every speech we give is conceived in the heart where the Holy Ghost dwells. Saying we believe God, and then going to say what is contrary to His Word, or the Covenant package, is calling God a liar. James told us if we offend not in speech, we are perfect. James 3:2. Jesus also told us we would give account for every idle word spoken. Matthew 12:36. It's important we understand what this Covenant entails so we can walk accordingly. This is one reason many believers end up disbelieving the Word, because they don't see the promises materialise on their terms. God is faithful. He didn't lie to us. If we were to go into a contract with a company or contractor, it would be foolish of us not to read the contract terms of agreement before appending our signatures. It's important we read and understand what's required to enter what has been offered. Let's not be lazy believers, but purposeful, intentional and understanding. We have a perfect package in God. Revelation 5:12.

Reminder: Isaac reaped a hundredfold. The same is our portion in Christ. It takes understanding of what it entails, and complying.

Topic: His Offspring ✝️

The Spirit's Word: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Acts 17:28 KJV

Think about the reproduction process, there is nothing external that is added from the fertilisation of the sperm to when the baby is fully developed. It is more of development than growth during pregnancy. As such, the baby is called an offspring of the parent. We are also offsprings of God, who has begotten us by the Word of Truth. There is nothing foreign or alien in you who is born again. The opening Scripture summarises the entire life process of man. We live, we move and we have our being in God. God is our source. This is how God sees us. Anything contrary is just a lie of the enemy. Even when you see inconsistencies in your life with that of the divine nature, it's just a mirage. If you would focus on what is real, which is truth, the mirage will eventually fade away. God made us in such a way, that what we align to becomes our reality. He is not forcing anything on us. Recall, Adam and Eve lived in Eden as though they created it. God only came to fellowship with them in the cool of the evening. Genesis 3:8. God, who is all knowing, didn't stop them from getting tempted, nor yielding to it. This is because, He already made man superior to any temptation.

The Word of God is Truth, and it sanctifies us, and separates us from the influence of darkness, and this fallen world. John 17:17. As His offsprings, we have the responsibility of being what He has called us. Being in this world, we are faced with two mirrors. One is the mirror of God's Word, which is light, showing us our true identity and all we have in Christ. The second mirror is a dark mirror filled with all manner of deception, guile, crookedness and faults. It will never give you a true picture of who you are. Have you ever tried using a fractured mirror? It can be frustrating because it shows you a different image, which is a lie. Many are turned to the wrong mirror, and so they can't apprehend all that Christ died to give them. Only a few are turned to the mirror of God's Word continually, which leads them from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18. The way we have vehicles that defy the law of gravity, even so there are many that defy Satan and his wiles. He can't use anything against the one who is grounded in the truth. Jesus meant what He said, when He told us we shall be free if we knew the truth. John 8:32. Since I found the truth, I watch Satan fall every single time.

Reminder: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

The Spirit's Word: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of all other spirits, whether good or bad. God is the Father of spirits. Hebrews 12:9. He made all things. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the only uncreated beings. So, all other spirits are birthed by the Holy Spirit. It's sad so many rebelled, and are now known as evil spirits, such as fear. The good news is that we have the Spirit of all spirits dwelling in us, Who is working out all things for our good. 1 Corinthians 2:9. For every evil in the world, there is a good which is far greater than the evil. Good existed before evil, and so, we can call it the original while the evil is the fake. Both are not equal in any way. We must see this as true, and the enemy begins to lose ground in our lives. God has given us the Holy Ghost, Who manifests as the Spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. This shows us God gives us so much more for every evil, because He wants us perfectly whole just like our resurrected Lord. Timidity, phobias, anxieties, stress, worry, terror, perplexity, doubt, torment and the fear of man, are not from God. They are all rooted in this spirit of fear that has been, even from the days of Adam and Eve, in the garden of Eden. Genesis 3:10.

We must all magnify God in our hearts and eyes for Him to be GOD in our lives. When we do, these small spirits that only mean harm would be a child's play. What we magnify becomes as large as we magnify it. The enemy knows this, and so he is after our minds. If he can gain control over our minds, it's so easy for him to cause all manner of havoc within and around us. Fear has crippled many destinies. Fear isn't normal. Don't tell people, '' I'm a shy person''. It is not gentleness. They are two different things entirely. One is a fruit of the spirit, the other is an element of fear. Fear has caused many heart attacks than you can imagine. Anything that makes you panic, and sweat, and you lose your sense of reasoning can't be from God, neither is it natural. Reject it by affirming the opening Scriptures constantly. Cast out that spirit of fear tormenting your life, and allow the Holy Spirit help you become all you were destined to be in life. When you apply this truth that you have the Spirit of all spirits in you, no evil spirit can gain mastery over you. All you need to do is become conscious of the greater One, and speak His Word.

Reminder: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4. In the Name of Jesus, spirit of fear, get out of my life.

The Spirit's Word: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:9 KJV

The above Scripture is borne out of the complete work of Jesus. He defeated Satan and unseated him in the heavenlies. Satan used to have so much authority over the earth and lives of men. However, the truth of the matter is that he lost the battle to the King of Kings, who overthrew him by the atoning blood that is forever speaking for as many that believe. Romans 5:11, Hebrews 12:24. Notice what was said about him in the scripture we read - that deceived the whole world. This is the foundation of all his works. With deception, he earned himself a kingdom of darkness. But glory be to God for the Lamb of God has prevailed. Revelation 5:5. We should no longer fear the devil. A child of God has authority over him. Luke 10:19. Whatever we allow or disallow is what Heaven sanctions. We must know what to allow and disallow. Matthew 18:18. Learn to use your authority against the works of darkness. Satan is an unrepentant rebel. He is still trying to deceive as many that are ignorant, and he will have his way as long as you let him. Hosea 4:6.

Jesus gave us the Holy Ghost, power, authority, His Name, Blood, and the heavenly hosts of Holy angels in order to completely keep the enemy under. How many of these keys have you been walking in or operating in your life? It takes faith to operate them. Defeat on this side of life is only tied to ignorance. Many of the problems the enemy causes on earth starts from believing his lies. He can't go on with his wickedness when we use the truth against him. Jesus has given us an authentic weapon that is valid forever, which is His Word. Matthew 24:35, Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 6:17. Satan doesn't have a choice, because the Word also gave birth to Him. All things were created by the Word. John 1:1-3. Everything created by God has ear for the Word. It doesn't matter if it's animate or inanimate, the Word is the final authority. Don't live life based on feelings, and circumstances that surround you. Let the Word be your reality even if it takes forever to materialise. You have no better option.

Reminder: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Today's topic is one that is bold and not out of pride, but intimacy. I have heard some statements that baffles like, '' we can't know if we are truly serving God, only God knows who is truly serving Him''. If you are truly serving Him, you ought to know. Christianity is no longer a mystery. Colossians 1:26. Christianity is about fellowship and intimacy with God. We are taken into depths, and heights, and width, and breadth of His love. This requires time and effort. Most importantly, our hearts, minds, and strength must be focused on Him. God is love. 1 John 4:8. It may amount to nothing if we do all these without love for Him. The whole idea is to grow in our love, walk, and fellowship with Him. If we don't obey Him, it means we don't love Him. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
1 John 3:18. You can see that just saying ''I love God" when we haven't obeyed Him is pointless. False words and they that propagate them are altogether weightless.

Can you say you know God? Surely, God knows everyone. He made all things, and is omniscient. However, He told us He would deny some on that last day. "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity". Matthew 7:23. We may deceive man, but we can't deceive ourselves nor God. God is never mocked, no matter how hard you try to mock Him. It is His desire that His children can boast of Him - in knowledge, and truth. We ought to be faithful to Him that saved and washed us. God did for us what was naturally impossible by becoming just like us - Him dying and paying the price which we could never pay by our own effort. God looks for a sincere lot, even among his own flock. Don't forget the flock is made up of sheep and goats. Matthew 25:33. In as much as we'll all be saved by grace, the goats will still receive chastisement and judgment before being admitted into heaven. If you knew the tenderness, and transparency of the Lord, you would never dream or imagine being on his left hand. You can still make things right. Desire to know Him more, and when you do, He will reveal to you what would keep you faithful to Him.

Reminder: For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord , to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Genesis 18:19 KJV

Topic: Uncertain Riches and True Riches ✝️

The Spirit's Word: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 1 Timothy 6:17 KJV

I think of all the greats that have come and gone, and how they left their riches for others who never laboured for it. I find it amazing that some toil to get rich, while some others do not even as much as lift up a pen, but they are rich. Riches are so uncertain. It is not to the wise, nor to the strong, nor to men of understanding. It can be futile to labour to be rich. For this reason are riches uncertain: Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. Proverbs 23:5. It's funny, and I don't think this is a metaphor. Riches will flee from you if you keep pursuing it. The second part of the opening Scripture tells us God has given us "all things" richly to enjoy. If you can know the difference, you would do well. Some fail to acknowledge some things that are weightier than riches, and so they lust after that which they shouldn't lust after. For instance, God has given us divine health which is weightier that riches or wealth, but when you place one above the other which is not, then your life takes an upside down structure.

For those who are rich by the grace of God mustn't be high-minded. If we despise people who aren't as privileged as we are, it is an insult to God who is no respecter of persons. The riches are in your custody to serve God's purpose. Hear the Word of God: For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or... he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity...Romans 12:3‭, ‬6‭-‬8. Riches are a tool for ministry. Some have blamed God for the many poor folks in every nation. However, I have heard of countries that distribute its wealth to everyone in a fair proportion, so that no one lacks the basic necessities of life. This is what God expects from us. Hoarding riches is against God's will. The more we give to those in need, the more the wealth multiplies in our hands.

Reminder: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5 KJV

Topic: Spiritual Father ✝️

The Spirit's Word: And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 23:9 KJV

For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
1 Corinthians 4:15 KJV

The concept of spiritual fathers among God's generals has become a trend. It is scriptural as seen in the opening verse. Apostle Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth, and laid claims to them as his own spiritual children, because they received Christ into their lives through his ministry. However, Jesus gave us a clear instruction, that we should not attribute this fatherhood status to any man on earth, as God in heaven is the only Father we have. Now, both scriptures are not in any way contradicting each other. Jesus was talking to sons, while Paul was talking to babes. If you have been with Jesus, and have encountered Him in a way that you feed directly from heaven, then are you a son. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: Isaiah 9:6. A son knows His bearing, and that, His root is in Christ alone. A babe is still coming to terms with certain truths in the Word, and still requires a forming process to reach maturity. Hear what Paul said about the Church at Corinth: And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 1 Corinthians 3:1‭-‬2. Babes meet their spiritual fathers as their first point of call, while sons go to the Word, and the Holy Spirit.

God permits such spiritual fatherhood by men until a babe turns to a son in the kingdom. The babe does not understand deep things, and for this cause God may not reveal Himself to them in a manner and dimension that only sons have entered into. Paul expressly tells us how a child should be groomed into maturity: Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be Lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the Father. Galatians 4:1‭-‬2. Tutors and governors here refer to teachers, mentors, pastors, etc. It is God's desire that every child of His know Him, and understand His ways. Let's not forget He made His ways known to Moses, but His acts to the children of Israel. Psalm 103:7. The ways of God are for sons, but it will take spiritual maturity to enter into this realm. His lambs or little flock are the apple of His eyes, and as such He ensures they come under capable hands, who would feed them, and show them how to walk with God. The goal of every minister of the Gospel is to bring people into Christ, and instill the character of Christ in the people of God. We fail if we don't point them to Jesus, and how they can have intimacy with Him.

Reminder: We grow by receiving the Word continually, and also embracing the fear of God in our lives. Psalm 25:14.

Topic: Walking Upon High Places ✝️

The Spirit's Word: The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Habakkuk 3:19 KJV

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.
1 Samuel 2:8 KJV

To walk upon high places is to be promoted and exalted by God. It is to have the backing of God, and become a solution provider to the problems of men, and the world. Man can promote you, but not like God can. You can also promote yourself, which is self-deceit. God is the One that perfects men. The first Scripture is a song to the chief singer on stringed instrument. Habakkuk 3:17-18. It takes the joy of the Lord for God to delight in you, and promote you. Yes, we are all pleasing to God because of Jesus. However, God wants to delight in all of us individually. As we delight in Him, He becomes our strength. Nehemiah 8:10. It takes strength to win in the battles of life, just like faith. Having the strength of God makes all things surmountable to you. You'd see that you're always on top of every situation. We activate His strength by our continual rejoicing, and gladness of heart. Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16.

Hannah, the mother of Prophet Samuel, knew what it felt like for God to promote one. She was without child, and taunted for this. When she had cried and vowed to God, He didn't disappoint her. She brought forth Samuel, who went on to become one of the most endeared prophets of God, and Israel. She also went to bare more children, because God is not a user of men. He desires to bless us more than we can ever imagine. If you find yourself in the dunghill of life, beaten down to dust, and sinking in the mire of poverty, turn to God with a cry and a song. He will make a way for you. When I consider all that the Lord owns - the earth, world, people, animals, gold and silver; knowing He desires to give it to whomsoever He pleases (Daniel 4:17), it is wisdom to be His delight. We can't really give God anything but our worship. The Psalmist decreed: Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psalms 37:4. It is tempting to worry about the problems you are faced with. However, if you would trust God, and lay it all on Him (1 Peter 5:7), it can only bring you to a large place of glory.

Reminder: He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 2 Samuel 22:20 KJV

Topic: Sign Seekers ✝️

The Spirit's Word: But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Matthew 12:39 kjv

In the Old Testament, it was okay to ask for a sign to confirm the Word of God given by His servants. Gideon asked for a sign, and so did King Hezekiah. God was still getting acquainted with His people and so, He permitted such level of initial doubt. Remember His people did not know Him, and so Moses asked Him: when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
Exodus 3:13. The children of Israel were carried away captive to Egypt, and this generation of Israelites were only familiar with the gods of Egypt. This has long changed, as God has revealed Himself in more ways than we could ask of Him. He showed great signs and wonders in Egypt towards their deliverance, and Jesus also did marvellous works. Acts 10:38. It is wrong to ask God for a sign. He has given us His Word, in both the Old and New Testament. Anyone asking for a sign from God in order to believe Him is part of the evil and adulterous generation. We can only ask God to confirm the Word we already believe.

Thomas asked for a sign, and it displeased the Lord. John 20:25. It is so easy to doubt, and be in unbelief. God has made this New life easy for us. We have a lifestyle of faith. Romans 1:17. It can only take faith to please God. Hebrews 11:6. For instance, the issue of speaking in tongues is clearly stated in the Bible. Mark 16:17. But there are some believers that don't believe in it. They even totally refute it with all manner of doctrines and traditions. There are some who won't speak in tongues until the Holy Spirit speaks it for them. That is clearly unscriptural. It is you the believer that would speak. Acts 2:4. The Holy Ghost only gives the utterance. It takes faith, too, in order to speak in tongues, and do every other thing for the sake of the Kingdom. When you keep seeking a sign, you only end up short-changing yourself. You deny yourself all the blessing Christ died to give you. How can you make the most of this divine life when you want God to come down for you to accept something that's already in His Word. Don't be among the evil and adulterous generation. Everything in the kingdom is receive by faith, including the rapture on the last day. Revelation 21:8.

Reminder: But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from abovesmiley Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Topic: Peace is Authority ✝️

The Spirit's Word: And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:37‭-‬39 KJV

The title given to the topic might be a metaphor, but peace and authority always go together. Jesus was asleep in the middle of a boisterous tempest, while his disciples were scared to death. Don't forget what He told us: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33. Authority is only tangible in the peace of God. This is what rest really means. To worry, and be anxious, or fearful only means you forfeit your authority. You cannot win without this peace within, that doesn't take the circumstances into consideration. Of course, this is what the enemy wants. He wants you to fidget, and when you do, you can't exercise authority over him. If issues of life still way you down, and makes you wonder and begin to doubt, it simply means there is no peace. The peace Christ gave to us surpasses logic. Philippians 4:7. It is meant to keep us from falling to pieces. This peace we are talking about transcends feeling. The end of it mat be a feeling, but it doesn't start with a feeling. It is connected to faith.

For instance, when you tell the devil to get out of a situation or place, it doesn't matter if that devil is still demonstrating. As long as you have given the word in the name of Jesus, don't focus on manifestations or an outward sign. Maintain your peace, as you have given the Word. Satan would always make you doubt your authority, but the Word of God is the final say on any issue. For as much as we desire to walk in authority over the issues of life, we must be a people of peace. I don't mean the peace that comes from the cool ocean breeze, or a picnic. We are talking of peace that is focused on Jesus, who is the Prince of peace. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3. So long as God will never stop being faithful to His Word, I can fully put my trust in Him. So long as my mind is on Him, and His grace upon my life, He will never disappoint. We have to put His Word to work, and stop trying to work against the truth. If you tried it once, and it didn't work, go back to the Word and find out what you missed out. We can't keep faulting the integrity of the Scriptures. This thing works.

Reminder: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 KJV

Topic: Rest ✝️

The Spirit's Word: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 KJV

Rest is freedom from all troubles, worries, fear, oppression, anxiety, embarrassment, aggression, etc. Rest is entering into the joy of the Lord, His peace, righteousness, power, wisdom, strength, etc. You can't experience rest if you are not serving God. The opening Scripture tells us of Jesus' invitation to all. Surely, all men labour and are burdened with a lot of care, and fears. It is only in Christ we can have rest. A yoke is used on a pair of oxen, only when you want it to work. For instance, to plough your farm or field. You don't find a yoke strapped on an animal when it is not working. That'd be a kind of animal cruelty. Every man that enters this world is yoked with the enemy, for in Adam all have sinned and were dead. We served sin for a while until we received the hope of eternal life. The yoke of Jesus is not like that of the taskmaster that is forced on you. We, willingly, take his yoke upon our lives. Isaiah 1:19. As we do, He takes off the enemy's yoke from off our necks. In this life, if you are not serving God, you are serving Satan. Let's not try to be politically correct. There are only two playing fields in life. The kingdom of light, and that of darkness.

To willingly serve the Lord as a minister of the Gospel in any area He has predestinated for us, we must be meek and humble, just as He is. No one can truly learns from God without being meek and humble. Meekness is submissiveness, obedience, and calmness. It also means modesty, and to be unboastful. Humility is lowliness of the heart. You don't place yourself above people, but under them. Only in this way can God use you effectively. Now, Jesus' yoke is easy. It means, there is no cause for alarm. There is always a way forward. It doesn't matter what may look challenging, we have that confidence that He is the driver of all things in our lives. His burden is light means we find direction and revelation for every problem. Until we live the life of Galatians 2:20, we can't know this rest. The Lord must find expression through you. Rest means ceasing from your own works, just as Christ ceased from His. You are totally synchronised with Him, and you won't find any reason to be at a dilemma or cul-de-sac. This rest doesn't come cheaply. We must labour to enter into it by constantly seeking God in prayers, fasting, intercession, meditation of the Word, brotherly fellowship, walking in love, and waiting on Him. Hebrews 4:8-11.

Reminder: It took the Israelite a long journey of trials in the desert as they left Egypt to the promised land. They didn't find that rest because of unbelief, and disobedience. We must believe God, trust Him completely without complaining.

Topic: Overcoming Lust ✝️

The Spirit's Word: Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? Proverbs 6:25‭-‬28 KJV

Sexual lust and other forms of it are a twofold weapon the enemy uses against man, not just the believer. It is one of Satan's most effective weapon. It is twofold because it is triggered by both the flesh or carnal nature, and evil spirits or demons of lust. Everyone faces temptations in every form it can possibly take. Our Lord was tempted in every way, and did not sin. Hebrews 4:15. The believer's victory is a life that overcomes temptations and defeats sin. We are ordained for a higher life that's divine, and full of light. This means that darkness ought not to thrive on our lives. John 1:5. The above Scripture tells us the battle is won in the heart. We must never give room for lustful thoughts. If you let lust germinate in your heart by constantly thinking of that person in a lustful way, or pondering on sexual vices, it would sprout and grow. You should expect a bad tree with bad fruits. You would be overcome by lust as easily as a reed in the wind. Don't fan the embers of the old nature. Reckon yourself dead to these things by meditating only on things above. Colossians 3:2-5. We must put off the old nature and its lust, and put on Christ. Romans 13:14, Galatians 5:24. It's our responsibility.

We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice to God, holy and well acceptable. Romans 12:1. Also, if we walk in the Spirit, we won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16. As we walk in the light of the Word, and presence of the Holy Ghost, we gain victory everyday. The consciousness of the Spirit within us constrains us from going after vain and deathly imaginations. In as much as grace abounds much more, where sin abounds, it is not complete if we don't bring in truth into our situation. Jesus didn't come with grace alone, but with truth also. It is truth that sets free, and not grace. John 8:32. Let's be reminded that if we walk after the flesh, we shall die. It was Apostle Paul that told us in Roman 8:13. This means the law of sin and death is reigning in your body unto corruption. Life and death can't be at work at the same time. You can't be wiser than God by trying to mock Him. Thank God for grace and mercy, but we must also embrace the truth that destroys yokes and bondage. It doesn't matter the lust and temptation, not yielding to it is possible by the grace of God, and power of the Holy Ghost. Let that be your mind set from now on. If you think it is impossible, then it is for you. We can always cry out to God who is able to keep us from falling. Jude 1:24.

Reminder: As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 KJV

Topic: Verily, Verily ✝️

The Spirit's Word: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
John 6:47 KJV

I believe there are no coincidences in the Bible. The Book of John is full of '' verily, verily''. I've always wondered why. John was Jesus' closest disciple, and for him writing the Gospel, I believe the double emphases is trying to get our earnest attention. Verily verily means "most certainly" or "most assuredly" . It also means "truly, truly". It is placing a double confirmation on that particular truth as revealed. When I study the Bible, I take note of these things to maximise and take full advantage of the blessing in it. The opening Scripture is one that speaks of eternal life to the One who believes. A doubly confirmed truth, so to say, is to be taken with the most holy or reverential disposition and attention. Being a student of the Bible for a few years has taught me not to overlook any thing in it. If it was necessary to include something, it definitely has a significant purpose. For this reason, I'm not too carried away by the diverse translations all over the place that has altered the Bible, and made it just a condensation of all that it was purposed to contain.

Another scripture with this degree of certainty is: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
John 12:24‭-‬25. Death is the only way to bring forth much fruit. If you want the sevenfold crown Jesus received in Revelation 5:12, then you must die to self. Apostle Paul told us that we must suffer in order to enter into this glory. Romans 8:17. Suffering for Christ is biblical. This suffering is not related to sickness, disease, poverty, etc. It is all about denying yourself the pleasures of the world, and not gratifying your flesh. It also include persecution, because we show we are not ashamed of Him. He will declare us before our heavenly Father and the Holy angels that we are truly His own. Let's take time to study these scriptures so we are not behind on the most important things in this kingdom.

Reminder: The Bible is full of different levels of truths. There is always a higher level unto perfection. Read 2 Corinthians 3:18.
