bims87: have used delta so many times and they are ok. horrible experiences can happen sometimes that doesn't make them bad. when booking check time for connecting flights, if they are so close you will sure be running into the aircraft with ur baby and ofcourse ur box cant make it so soon as well. at least 2hrs wait time when connecting. |

Bad experience means different things to different people, but my experience wasn't pleasant i must say. The day i was to travel, the flight was cancelled due to mechanical fault and we had to be lodged in an hotel till the next day, and they did not communicate with us in the hotel till later that evening and on getting to the airport they had no plan for us, they were attending to those whose flight was for that day and left us unattended to for almost an hour, we finally left the airport around past 12 for a flight of 10:30pm. To me it was a hell of a journey. but i must say that's not enough to say u cant fly them, i may just prefer to try another airline next time, the choice is yours. bims87: 2 Likes |

dinawe: @Dinawe, I've also used Delta several times alone and I've also not had any reason to complain until I had to travel with a baby. About checking time for connecting flights, my initial connecting time was about 4 hours only to discover on getting to the airport that I had been moved to the 7... flight leaving me with just 20 minutes connecting time. By the way I wasn't informed either by phone or mail. My saving grace was that I had baby's ticket to run around for otherwise I would have sat at the airport for hours doing nothing. Please don't make excuses for them except you work there. Their customer service is nothing to write home about. While I'm not disputing the fact that horrible experiences do happen, you wouldn't want any especially with an infant and by the way I was economy comfort. I flew BA with my 1st child and I was upgraded without paying a dime and given a bassinet without asking. @Bims87, you don't really have a lot of choices especially when you want to fly directly to Nigeria from US and you also want to avoid Houston POE. Just brace yourself for anything but be sure to confirm your flight a day before departure to be sure your flight time hasn't changed. And also be ready to carry your baby in your arms. 2 Likes |

jaysmom: My people, why not making a case for Delta, i believe every airline do have their rough day. I will fly delta over United anyday. United will charge you for freebies like intra city luggage, alcohol etc that other airlines take for granted. Even as a guy, I experienced a hostile environment at the houston POE this year hence I vowed never to use that route again. My conclusion is whichever airline we fly we should always commit our trip to God and I also noticed that when it comes to airlines one man's food is another's poison. However, when an airline have a well documented bad reputation don't ignore it. zynnnie: Hi all, I share cfc sentiment, how does the bragging help the people on this thread? Even if you were wrongly banned I think you should just play your role and leave the rest to posterity to reward you. afosahid: Mr afosahid has fulfilled the rite of passage by reading from page to page, so am begging those withholding Chicago information to divulge. 1 Like |

TeamclicksAir: you can't book an American bound flight from those website you mentioned. Except if the departure isn't Nigeria. Read the lines again , I said "track" not "book", those verbs have different meaning in the English language. Besides, There are 1.1million ways of booking tickets. Cheers. 1 Like |

angel55: Hello Elpaso bound mums. Pls how do I book a flight from nigeria straight to Elpaso Or do I get to Dallas first before getting a ticket. Someone please help as I will be leaving sept 30th flights are expensive now and it's increasing in price every second Too bad when one has to get a visa late no enough time to plan. Please help depends on if you have a preffered airline. you can try United Airline. one of the cheapest now and the flight time is good for you. just one layover of 3hrs. wouldnt know your budget. give them a shot. Qatar is cheaper but i wont recommend if you are due to deliver soonest.@teamclickAir @damsell &lizcom25 thanks 4 d response. |

Hi All, I lost my babies, poor handling in ICU here in Nigeria, even at 7 months. Another reason why everybody needs to have their baby in the US! I pray no one experiences this kind of loss in Jesus Name, I have managed to move on. Time to go back to the drawing board, sad loss after trying for a number of years. I cannot question God. |

Wow! Nefertitiram, just seeing your story. I so sorry dear. Just take heart and be strong. Thank God for your life. When I have planned and done everything I have to do and things still go south, I like to relish in the fact that God has a reason for everything. He said his thoughts for us are of good and not of evil... So in everything give thanks. Just keep thanking him for what he has in stock for you and your family. You will be shocked when his plans are revealed until you. They are bigger than you can imagine. Be strong my love 1 Like |

So sorry Nerf it is well @dserious i told my obgyn dr at Holycross that i wanted one day stay cos i was a self pay patient and she agreed. she spoke to the paediatricians on my behalf and they agreed to discharge me the next day but after all tests run on baby came out okay. Infact i left the hospital around 11pm. Had my baby 9th sept and got discharged 10th sept. Obgyn dr's fee - 2500 was 3000 got a discount mother's delivery fee 3650 deposited 4000 Baby 850 Paediatricians bills vary, lowest is between $75 - $100 depending on baby's need Am yet to pick up the bill, just called the hospital, will scrutinize well when i see it. I chose Maryland cos my uncle here and his wife are so accommodating and have a big house. I also don't have to pay for food (very important). |

I leave imn his hands, and ask for his resting peace to come upon your home and family, who are hurting right now. 1 Like 2 Shares |
