Guys, At the end of the day, GEJ has to take the blame. He's "supposed" to be the CinC, and the buck stops at his table. We should be less tolerant as a people, and hold leaders accountable. If 1 million Nigerians wake up and start demonstrating for improved security, these leaders will sit up. I think this is the make or mar point for GEJ; if he does not go all out now and contain, then eliminate these guys/terrorist asap, then i doubt if Nigeria will exist by 2015. Remember Rwanda anyone? It will be child's play compared to what might happen in Nigeria, if these thing is not contained |

5columnist:judgements are not based on allegations but facts from evidence. I say to you, where is your evidence to link all these people you 've mentioned? oh, have you forgotten the IBB and all the noise, yet it turned out or as we were made to know that it was Henry Okah's MEND that did it. Can a dead whale be awoken to yet live again? |

Thank God those freedom fighters, call them MEND or BOKO HARAM they are not targetting civilians and innocents. All of you are supposed to joint the crusade, our leaders from south or north, christians or muslims, are not ready to change their attitudes, they want to keep oppressing their subjects it seem we can not stand up against it by ourselves, then thanks to BOKO HARAM and MEND, I'm not at lost. Fire dem mend, fire dem BOKO HARAM!!! |

its a great pity that despite the problems in Nigeria, GEJ does not feel any pressure to resolve the level of insecurity in the Nation, i guess until he losses someone really close, he would not act, they are coming for him very soon, |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by POTUT(m): 2:34pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Shame! Shame!! Shame!!! To all those who still believe this is a country, shame to all of them. PDP is about settling for another meal, instead of concentrating on governance, they are shopping for national unity government. If you have won the elections, go ahead and provide leadership, thats what it should be all about. |

Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by POTUT(m): 2:37pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Honestly, if GEJ has come out as a leader to galvanize this nation and reassure pseudo citizens of this pseudo nation that he will provide security and hope in a hopeless nation, i have not heard it yet. Is, is, is he cold-footed? |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by AroOkigbo(m): 2:38pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Did someone say that the IGP was the target? , in that case another bomb has just been wasted, tell me, when will these i-diots successfully hit their target? That will be the first requirement for a serious (re)action from our seeming "clueless" government |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by Nobody: 2:39pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
One question that may never be answered is this. Who is responsible for this blast? Trust Ima Niboro to come and feed the "gullible" populace another dose of lies and smooth speech. By tomorrow you would start hearing them accuse every northern elite they can remember. If not a very backward country where majority of her youths have embraced mediocrity would the a man like Jonathan who was the first suspect of the first Abuja bomb blast get any vote? When MEND claimed reponsibility Jonathan was swift to say they were not responsible. He suggested it was IBB. No sooner had the north told IBB to reconsider his presidential ambition had Jonathan ran to Minna to insult Nigeria by declaring that IBB was his mentor. After that event all sorts of criminals have shown us how violence is done. When a country produce 600,000 graduates every year and can only provide 100,000 jobs in the same year what does it expect the half a million graduates to do? Apply for slavery in the US or what? And you see the gullible shouting "it's either PDP or nothing, it's either my village man or nobody, it's our turn to loot, etc." While it is very unfortunate that hoodlums have taking control of Nigeria. The "gullible" masses who continue to vote for a PDP government may find themselves to blame by 2015. Luck has never solved security problems and it will not now! |

@Cold. Thank you jare. How can one negotiate with people like that? These guys are a direct fallout of Northern leaders not educating their people and purposely keeping them ignorant and prepared as a ready made army of religious zombies. Now the fallout is falling on everybody, Anyone still thinks the "governement" can negotiate with them? |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by Makarfi11: 2:45pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
My Dear Nation has been misruled for long, the damage done is beyond what the eye can see. Unfortunately the "ruling cycle" ( from all parts of the copuntry) is finding it hard to believe that the young and creative minds can make a change, they are trying by all means to see that the youth dont realise the extent of their damage |

Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by POTUT(m): 2:46pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Nations split, but as Nigeria is not a nation, it cannot split. We will become a nation when States keep their resources and pay tax to the federal government. That way, there will be little to control at the centre. That way also, this bullshit of having a minister from every state, this crapshit of federal character and square pegs in round holes and multiplicity of empty government edifices will stop. I am truly pissed at Nigeria. GEJ! get up and speak and act! Otherwise get out and go home! |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by feelamong(m): 2:47pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Why Cant these book haram guys go and bomb the national assembly complex self?? Maybe with that they would come them to Abuja, the President would then shakehands with them and and send them all to Afghanistan to train well well, |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by anishe(m): 2:48pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
This is serious. I think the government need to do something drastical about the police force. The govt. should enlist the bulk of the unemployed youth in the force and do away with illiterates in the rank and file of the Nigerian Police. This way, better policing would be achieved and it will also help reduce the unemployment rate. |
Re: Bomb Blast At Police Force Headquarters In Abuja? by kulutempa: 2:48pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Very sad. However it would have been a good idea if similar tactics had been used in the past in Nigeria to force our successive governments to develop the country's infrastructure instead of stealing everything in sight. It appears that force is the only language these thieves masquerading as leaders, understand. If they had addressed the problem of mass poverty and high youth unemployment, illiteracy and social exclusion in the country instead of lining their pockets things may not have deteriorated to this level. However as you make your bed you lie on it, and after all is said and done, corruption is the cancer that is likely to lead to Nigeria's demise. |

i guess these bokoharam boys now have access to a place such as the police headquarters. In a time we should be consolidating on a expanding economy, we are destroying it and inadvertently squandering the little reputation we just earned on the international scene. |
