You guys put TOO MUCH attachment to things, he can't be called daddy obviously he isn't the real dad, so that's out of the question. He can't be called uncle for obvious reason why mom and uncle can't be on the same bed, so now the only option is to call him by a nickname---it doesn't have to be his name. People from separated home often call their step parents, grandparent using a nice petty nickname.
