Wait oh wait oh is Occupy Nigeria a protest against fuel subsidy or one against Corruption, Bad Government and Failed Promises. Please remember the Lekki Protest, only a couple of hours after teargas and brutal police flogging. Lekki residents retired to their homes and accepted their fate by paying their toll fee, so that protest failed. A lot of people are shouting occupy Nigeria and thinking by going out to the streets the government would reverse their decision, please don't forget Jonathan said fuel subsidy is irreversible. We should not forget that the Government is also preparing (Military personnel, the Police and Thugs). How long can we withstand the flogging, tear gas, stray bullets, detainment. Are we going to retire to our fate like Lekki residents or go the whole way to ensure good governance, to demand better public services and getting rid of corruption once and for all. Else Occupy Nigeria would be a failure and a waste of time.

(*shakes head in pity for my senseless fellow nigerians who just bought the useless analogy given by @Beaf*)

How on earth can you people be so silly to lick GEJ butt kissers tale hook, line and sinker?

So cameroonians will jump through our borders and just enter a church, bank, local government and police locations to bomb, shoot, and stab people without having full knowledge of the terrain and their targets? Please people if you can't think, get a brain transplant.

The REAL SPONSORS of Boko Haram are this very same PDP leadership in government.

They are using this group to disunite and distract Nigerians from their slow pace, bad policies, glaring corruption and bad governance.

When they heard Muslims and Christians are protecting themselves in Kano, the sent in security agents to harass and disperse them in no time.

Adamawa election is a few days time, that operation was carried out so that the distract the people so that PDP can have the full control to rig that election to their favour.

How else can a governor who hasn't paid staff salary for 4 months expect to wim election overnight.

They want to use the presence of heavily armed security agencies to intimidate and send down fears down the spins of the people of the state.

Boko Haram are Nigerians used by the Government to devide the people of the North in particular and Nigeria in general.

Beaf is a traitor, deceit and a liar. Nothing he ustters should ever be believed. He is being used by Jonathan to deceive and manipulate the thoughts of well meaningful Nigerians.

Nasir el-Rufai is alleging that both the curfew and the "Boko Haram" attacks that inspired it were engineered by the Adamawa state PDP in order to rig next week's gubernatorial election.

I for one, believe him.

Boko Haram has been killing people everywhere for the past 2 years. Yet it's only now that there is an election that anybody is enforcing a 24 hour curfew.

Or is there any curfew in Kano or Borno? Did they declare any curfew in Abuja after the Christmas bombing?

Keep drinking the PDP kool-aid if you like.

First they said it was Northern clerics supporting them ,

During PDP primaries they claimed it was Atiku, IBB and other GEJ opponents sponsoring them

During and after elections they claimed it was Buhari sponsoring them

Recently the same people alluded that it was the Sultan supporting them

Today its that they are from Cameroun

Maybe tommorow when Fashola criticize govt it would be said that Fashola is Boko Harams sponsor

@dayokalu,
Trust me, I am still baffled at the level of stu-p-idity some people still possess.
This are purely misleading statement by the government passed to Beaf to come and distribute to some crack heads in here.
They will now acclaim that it is some ragamoffee move to retailate one silly killing at the bakassi penicular (something that never took place)

I sure pity the souls that are thinking taking up camerron in a battle. You people should realize that your military is now weaker than their police. If you are still in doubt, launch an attack to the smallest village in their country.

there's no adamawa province there?
Re: Breaking News: 24 Hours Curfew Declared In Adamawa State by bodejohn(m): 7:41pm On Jan 07, 2012
@ beaf, quite intelligent of you but as usual one needs to take it with a pinch of salt. I can still remember how you proved that Dokpesi and by extension IBB was responsible for the Oct 1 bombings only for same Dokpesi to become the media coordinator of your GEJ in the build-up to the elections. Even if this is true shouldn't you be sharing this with the secret service instead of NL where the protesting arm of BH (in your own words) resides.

the fact that beaf is one of the people pointing it out doesnt mean others shouldnt use their brains to analyze the facts on ground and see if there isnt some evidence to support this theory.

A colonial official, Harold Smith, in a London television interview some years ago provided a window into the motives that informed British policies on Nigeria through the period of colonialism to independence. Hear him:

"When we assessed Nigeria, this was what we found in the southern region; strength, intelligence, determination to succeed, well established history, complex but focused life style, great hope and aspirations, the East is good in business and technology, the west is good in administration and commerce, law and medicine, but it was a pity we planned our agenda to give power "at all cost" to the northerner. They seemed to be submissive and silly of a kind. Our mission was accomplished by destroying the opposition at all fronts. The west led in the fight for the independence, and was punished for asking for freedom. They will not rule Nigeria!"

"Despite seeing vast land with no human but cattle in the north, we still gave the north 55 million instead of 32 million (in the census). This was to be used to maintain their majority votes and future power bid. The West without Lagos was the most populous in Nigeria at that time but we ignored that. The north was seriously encouraged to go into the military. We believed, that the south may attend western education,-but future leaders will always come from military background. Their traditional rulers were to be made influential and super human. The northerners were given acceleratcd promotions both in the military and civil service to justify their superiority over the south. Everything was to work against the south. We truncated their good plan for their future. I was very sorry for the A.G; it was a great party too much for African standard. We planned to destroy Awolowo and Azikwe, the west and the east and sowed a seed of discord among them. We tricked Azikiwe into accepting to be president having known that Balewa will be the main man with power. Awolowo had to go to jail to cripple his genius plans for a greater Nigeria. If Northern leaders have any agenda in Nigeria at all, sadly it is only for the north, and nothing for Nigeria. The time has come now to see people of intelligent minds with an open and inclusive agenda for all Nigerians in power, people who will really look after Nigeria's large population, her wealth, her potentials, her future."

Re: Breaking News: 24 Hours Curfew Declared In Adamawa State by naijaswiss(m): 11:29am On Jan 08, 2012
Boko haram now in Cameroon ? hmmm, it seems someone ( the west) wants to instigate a fight bettween ECOWAS nations inorder to divide , create confusion then conquer . I see Nigeria invading Cameroon very soon with the motive of "fishing out " Boko haram , but then 1 thing will lead to another ( Nigerian Millitary framed for shooting on cameroon civilians) , then we go to war with each ohter.
