But all said and done has anyone gotten a schengen visa particularly for Netherlands (through the French or Belgium Embassy) within 3 weeks as they advice/advertise? Seems they are notorious for delays?

No can't go to Accra without an Invitation. You need to book an appointment on their online portal

The last time i checked, you need your LOA, Passport, 4 copies of Passport photographs, School Transcripts. Well basically you are not required to produce anything other than your Passport and passport photographs, but you know its Ghana and long trip from Nigeria, so just go with all your documents and everything you think might be deemed necessary. You are to receive your MVV sticker on same day or maximum 2days from submission. Remember to legalize your birth certificate as its MOST necessary for registration at City Hall to get your BSN. All the best.

Please for those that have collected their MVV from Accra, which hotel did you stay. I want to know a not too expensive hotel I can stay when I go for my MVV.

@enmerks, I think you can take the picture in OSU as they said, not so far from the embassy. But why not go on Monday so you can finalise everything before Tuesday. For me, I am faced with the problem of booking appointment. My school has written them to book an appointment for me BT no response yet. How did you manage to book appointment? Best of luck.

Going on Monday would have been preferable but I don't really know maybe I would be able to snap and get the passport on Tuesday morning.

For appointments, a new week is always open for appointment at the end of each week. I just checked and discovered that 1st week of september is filled. All you have to do is wait till Monday and make sure you check continuously 2nd week of Sept will be opened by then.

Thanks but going the same day to snap picture is not advisable. All the same good luck and I hope to hear how it went at the embassy.

The embassy specifically said that the passport be take in Flash photos, Danquah circle, Osu, Accra. So going contrary to that is a problem.

you jst have to go a day before your appointment then you can sort things infront. it's jst want i will do though!
