I was just strolling one evening when I passed a lady and she said "iya ibeji e Pele o" I just smiled back and deep inside me I was very very happy. But she no know wetin my eye don see o. I want it to show well well so that I can start the shakara and make dis saliva sef stop cos e dey frustrate me. Can't wait to start wearing maternity wears to work o.

Chei @beedam at week 16 still throwing saliva. It is well o. They told me it all ends at week 12 and I seriously can't wait. Sha if na only that one no nausea or vomiting and all this body weakness one can manage na. The thing no easy. Baby bump here we come

Na so I hear too o but was surprised wen it stopped for like 15 hours/day in fews days and it came back fully again. No more sickness and weakness sha o but appetite too hasn't come back fully. The Lord is our strength. Please,who knows where I can get maternity wears? I need assistance ASAP. Thanks

where do you stay? if it is lagos.....lagos island ie idumota,balogun and anywhere around these places is good to go,you can get good US office maternity wears.Unless you want to pay double by going to all those boutiques and shops.If you reside outside Lagos.....am so sorry dear i may not know much outside this location.What worked for me is this....i buy few maternity wears,because as soon as i give birth i end up not wearing them.

@bestie, pele abt d MS. Mine was worse but stop at 24weeks but m sure urs is goin 2 be different, @mytestimony, dnt worry MS is ova already. @beedam, maternity wears plenty 4 Island or balogun. Den u can check stores online.

thanks everyone.. in my own case I'm really showing at 10 weeks at that's because I'm carrying twins *another yay* and that's why my MS was really bad. all my jeans, bras, tops, office shirts and skirts don't fit. I look like I'm five months already. my friends who knew when I got preggy are thinking I hid the pregs for a while before telling them. but I'm not telling anyone I'm having twins till I give birth.. *I hope my mil is not on this thread* I can imagine the looks on their faces when they hear "she gave birth to twins"

In my case I won't be buying maternity wears. they will waste. I'll just get Ankara and sow lots that I can re adjust after birthing.

If you really want to know the sex of your baby,some hospitals recommend the scan to be done from 20weeks,while some say its 24weeks...so you can check with your doctor to know when is best for you based on your level and condition.....i normally check mine at 25weeks.....so that the baby will be ready to show me who he or she is

welcome on board, its advisable to wait till 24 weeks so u will be sure to see it. but if you baby na shakara, no matter how many times you check, baby will hide its kinikan. did like 3 scans before she agreed to show me herself then

Congratulations to u for getting over the morning sickness.
I am just above 22weeks and i have checked my baby's sex last Saturday. Luckily for me, the boy corporate. I checked my first around 20weeks and it was fine as well. I think you can check for sex once you are above 18wks or thereabout.

@All Moms: Please has anyone ever changed clothing even undergarments as early as 9-10weeks? Mine seems too tight and uncomfortable so early?
