It is really sad when some christians read something in the bible and would decide or infer that it means something else. Hell is hell. Grave is grave and diff from hell. Sheol means the abode of the dead. The bible mentioned grave on countless number of times.It also mentioned hell, both in the new and old testament, many times. So,why should we suggest or assume that the hell should not be included in the bible, but be replaced with the word "grave"? It is simple, we are afraid of going there. But the wise would think of what could take him to hell and avoid doing such things. The bible says in Romans 8:6 that " to be carnally minded is death;and to be spiritually minded in life and peace." It also says in Proverb 15:24 " That the way of life is above ( spiritually minded) to the WISE ,that he may depart from hell beneath. Not grave. Why is satan ministring such messages to people, it is to downplay sin and its consequence. Eventually, he might succeed in taking as many people, as possible, to hell. God knew it would come to this and said in 2Timothy 4:3-4 " For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,having itching ears;And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, & shall be turned unto fables( parables or alegory ). Just as they call the story of Lazarus and Abrahim, in Look 16: 20- 25 ,a parable or fable. We cannot continue to waste our time on this as father Abraham told the rich man that , even if someone in hell should go to them in the world to warn them,they would still not believe. There 4, no amount of argument can change some people,since they can read it from the bible and infer a diff meaning to it.They want to rewrite the bible. God says in Hosea 4:17" Ephraim is joined to idols:let him alone."Likewise,some people have dicided not believe lies of the devil,let them alone. |

Whether they like it or not, we ll continue to preach the bitter truth about eternity. This is not an issue that should be left like that for this false teachers. Everyday thousands of souls are dying, many not saved and some others though christians yet fed with such false doctrines. And they are all heading to hell with only a few of them being heaven ready. We must not relent. Let the false teachers continue with their false teachings if they like but we won't also keep quiet and allow their falsehood to prosper. These are the last days and we are told in the bible that false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many. We are not suprised to see them arising in the name of understanding the bible more than others. God bless u. |

Even if d hell dt Jesus talked abt is different from d one angels were in. Wht is clear is dis: 1) There is an afterlife. Before Jesus came, d good used to go to a place called Abraham's bossom & d unjust used to go to hell. 2) After Jesus died he went to hell & preached to d spirits in prison. 3) They rose with him and shewed themselves to people in d city. Anybody with a contrary view should pls state it here & now or forever be silent |

God only ressurects those who are dead in all ramifications.......... But if it were d facts r true & Jesus didn't embellish them. Jesus died & descended to hell in d spirit to preach to d spirits there. God is a spirit. The Holy spirit has a personality. From the original languages, the bible uses the Hebrew word sheol and its Greek equivalent hades about 70 times. Some Bible translations translates them as "grave,"hell", or "pit". When the Bible refers to specific burial place or a grave,it uses other Hebrew and Greek words ,& not sheol or hades. Like as written in Matt 28:1 " In the end of the sabbath,as .........Marry Magdalene and the other Marry to see the sepulchre". The bible does not use the word sheol for a grave where several individual are buried together as in Genesis 49:30-31 The Bible tells us that sheol or hades are different from grave. Isiah 5:14 says "There 4 hell hath enlarged herself,& opened her mouth without measure:& their glory......shall descend into it." This indicates that it is diff from a literal burial places which can hold only limited number of dead persons. Let me ask prosbel,ijawkid and others who believe that hell does not exit,can grave enlarge herself as stated in Isiah 5:14 above? Note that ,only one person can be buried in a grave. No matter the Bible translations you give to Proverb 15:24 that says "The way of life is above to the wise,that he may depart from hell beneath", that can change the fact that everyone would be buried in the grave. This shows, it is pointless saying ," that he may depart from the grave beneath". Why did the Bible say that the grave is beneath, when we know that when people are dead they will be buried in the ground? But the bible tells us that hell is in inside the ground,because many may not know. Hell is diff from grave. The bones and the flesh are in the grave but the soul is either in hell or in heaven. |
