Regarding this. Was your initial NIN changed to a different one? I did this DOB correction in September and I just wanted to be sure whether or not a new NIN will be issued. I can't link my mobile number with my old NIN yet because of the thought that the number will be changed and also just so i don't have to go through a longer route to fix.
Family / Re: I Am Suspecting My Wife Is Cheating. Should I Confront Her? by EmmyDe25(m): 8:17am On Sep 06, 2020
Palema007:
Your foundation was faulty. While dating/courting she got intimate with a guy, you guys settled and got married. Did you make sure she cut off the guy before marrying her?

See, while I try as much as possible to be forgiving, two things I don't take is betrayal and cheating. While I may let go of the former with precautions i cant the latter. Cheats don't change! Let no one tell you otherwise, except the person gives his or her life to Christ sha. cheesy

Best comment i've seen so far. The foundation was weak - very weak and it is no surprise this is happening. You had a misunderstanding and she found herself in the hands of another man. So technically, she's been cheating since the dating phase and one thing i can never tolerate in this life is a cheating woman. As she won't only destroy herself, she'll end up destroying you the man in the end.

I feel you should have considered her fidelity level before going ahead to marry. The hardest thing to find these days is a partner that is faithful or loyal - forget friendship, beauty, intelligence etc. Sex is now being thrown around like a confetti. The rate at which women (married and single but in a relationship) are cheating these days is mind boggling. In fact, they now cheat more than the men, they are just smoother in the game.

As one of the commenters earlier said, track her and make sure she's caught red handed, then send her packing. If she can cheat on you, she can kill you. And trust me, cheaters don't change, they only evolve.

Let's not talk about Buhari being an old man here. He's just a dullard! There is a 5 years age gap between Buhari(76) and Obasanjo(81) and i am c.o.c.k sure Obasanjo wouldn't have made any of those disgraceful mistakes. The man is not just fit to be a chairman much less a PRESIDENT.

Very well written. I made the mistake on point #2 while working for a multinational petroleum service company. I bailed my colleagues out financially whenever a genuine need arose and my help was sought. The very week I left, the story became different. From then, I place colleagues as JUST colleagues, no personal closeness allowed.
I have a friend who had a similar experience where he worked. Well loved - even by the company's CEO. Something happened which was more around promises not kept my the org. He decided to express his displeasure about this and before you know it he was sent packing. He was shocked that just a few of his colleagues thought it wise to reach out to him to confirm what exactly happened.

True. Your boss is also not your friend, you are there to offer a skill/serves for pay, do so and move on no stupid loyalty. Though there will be one or two persons who will make great friends at work, but if it plays out that way, fine! don't look for it.

Keep improving your skills and you don’t have to stay forever in one organisation, you become a wallpaper and your value will diminish, and it doesn't mean u will not be kicked out tomorrow.

Let u growth be constant, and believe you can do what you set out to, believe in urself and the time is now.

Career / What Are The Biggest Career Mistakes To Avoid? by EmmyDe25(m): 5:44pm On Feb 09, 2018
I have worked in 4 different offices including those from startups to the biggest corporate organizations in the country. I believe that you should avoid the following mistakes:

1) Expecting that everything will be fair in your organisation. It
won't be fair and you’ll have to accept that. There will be.
people who have no actual skills and they will still be on top.

2) Thinking that your colleagues and friends are real friends or.
more like family. They will forget about you the day after you.
leave the organisation. We are a big family is one BIG lie.

3) Don't ever think that you can't be replaced. Everybody is
replaceable but it's just about how hard are you to replace.
and how much it's going to cost them.

4) Relaxing and thinking that you are settled for life when you
land on one good job. Trust me, you will be fired the day the.
organisation is in crisis. Think about yourself and start.
working on increasing your skills.

5) Depending too much on your organization will make you.
weak and your bargaining power will decrease.

6) Not meeting people outside of the organisation. There is a
big world outside your office and they have so much to offer.
At least meet a few new people every month, staying open to.
new ideas and proposals.

7) Not working to improve yourself and demanding more at the
office just because you have worked for a certain number of years there.

cool Finally, not believing in yourself is the worst mistake you will
ever make. You are capable of doing anything. Please
BELIEVE that.

Paying excesssively for something that doesn’t worth it is madness.

So because am at Eko Hotels, a bottle of water that we all know is N50 should be sold for N500; same content same quality. Come on grow up bro. There are other things you can do with your hard earned money, not contributing it to the capitalist wealth.

An 100% increment should be the maximum limit, max of N100 for same bottle sold for N50.
Don't mind the confused guy. They are quick to compare Nigeria to the advanced nations to push their stupid narratives. But talk to them about the failings of this nation in social amenities when compared to the same advanced nations they go about calling Nigeria a developing nation and how it will require a bit of time for us to get there.

Family / Re: Help With PHCN Wahala by EmmyDe25(m): 12:11pm On Sep 30, 2017
sisisioge:
Hello house, please I need some serious help here. PHCN has been the only issue I've got with the apartment I share. It is actually a converted mini-flat com two-bedroom. A GF and I decided to demarcate the space such that we both got our rooms. We came in as simple girls with simple gadgets.

I had just two bulbs, a TV, fridge and AC. Nothing more except some rarely used kitchen gadgets. She had small stuffs like me too. We were barely home to use these things. Soon enough, she got transferred and left her space to her young male cousin whose main belonging is a radio...no power consumption.

All was well for about three months into our stay until craaze fell on PHCN.Our bill jumped from 2k to 12k, 10k, etc. In fact, we once got 17k! I swearit, I tried to move out but couldn't get anything affordable and thought I could have it fixed. So, we've been paying 10k every month for as long as I can remember, yet, we have over 60k outstanding on the bill! This was because we were paying 3k for about six months before deciding to up amount after realizing the value kept increasing.

The unthinkable happened today when I got home to see a disconnection ticket even after paying 10k about 2 weeks ago!Now I'm thinking of just writing them to stop our billing, we are no longer interested. Cos I am so not gonna pay, will probably partially move back home.

What do you think? We have gone to their Shomolu customer care tire, spoken to the marketing manager here... nothing. They came for load assessment yet nothing. E don tire me. What should we do? Our small space gets charged same amount the bigger flats get...yet we no get anything o. We asked for prepaid meter, yet nothing.
Having a similar issue at my place. Bill rose from 5k to 10k. Sad thing is, the person i share the bill with is currently out of the country. I've been trying to rationalize the increment when i am about the only one using the light and i am hardly at home.

I don't know if people still play hard to get, I don't also think it's an age thing. Some ladies are wired like that... if it works for them is what I don't know.

I don't do it, surprisingly I have been with someone who likes it. Some guys like the chase...

Now, if a guy after observing me for a long time, I was probably oblivious of him or not very watchful...he decides to ask me out and I say I need time, I won't consider that playing hard to get.

Some guys ask you out today and expect a yes tomorrow. Dude you have taken your time to ensure my personality appeals to you, don't I deserve same? Some girls don't just jump into dating. If the delay period is not excessively done and with the right motive, then I have no problem with that kinda 'playing hard to get'.

I love this. It was intelligently drafted. There is a big difference between saying "I need time" and "Playing hard to get".

I have responsibilities too. Your boyfriend doesn't need to make the call on going out for a date everytime. Sometimes, switch role. We love the adventure.

Such feeling is shallow though. Why would anyone think paying a bill means a guy will think you are cheap. Please, spend less time with such babes. Not asking a girl to be spending money on a guy though but be able to take care of basic bills.

Romance / Re: How To Make A Man Admire You, Chase You, Fall In Love With You And Marry You. by EmmyDe25(m): 9:00am On Aug 17, 2017
askseunoladele:
HOW TO MAKE A MAN ADMIRE YOU, CHASE YOU, FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND MARRY YOU!

If you don't want to grow white hairs before you get married, here are the things you need to do to attract your man and get married on time:

1. SMILE: Men love smiling women. No, not the one that begins and ends with the mouth, the one that starts from the eyes. Genuine, loving smile attracts people, creates friendship and unlock doors! Learn to smile at people baby, women who lack men's attention rarely smile. They are always cold and look as if they are carrying the problem of the whole world on their head! Some of these ladies even frown a lot! Look, everybody has a problem, no man wants to add another person's problem to his own. Be a genuinely happy person and show it by smiling at people. Men will find you irresistible and seek to know you more.

2. BE HUMBLE: Humble women don't lack suitors! One way to stay single for a long long time is to be proud and cocky! Proud women are a big turn off! If you always roll your eyes at people, segregate yourself from the company of common people, talk down on anybody and you are practically rude because of your class, money, car, social status, job, etc, you will stay single forever! Be humble! Learn to accommodate all class for people. Learn to serve others. Learn to use "sir" when talking to men. Some men may tell you it doesn't matter but secretly, they love it. Men love it when women address them with respect. Learn to be respectful and submissive to authorities.

3. BE CONFIDENT: Confident women are attractive any day any time. Knowing who you are, pursuing your dreams, vision, passion and goals makes you a confident person worth investing in. When you know your reason for being here on earth is far more than getting married, punch out few kids and stay locked in the kitchen forever, you approach life with a positive mind set, you are energetic and confident in who you are, you have a good, sound self esteem and men are irresistibly drawn to you.

4. BE FRIENDLY: Ladies who keep to themselves hoping some Prince Charming will find them are not ready for marriage. Be friendly! Being friendly is different from being desperate and cheap. Go out. Attend positive programmes, conferences, seminars, workshops, symposiums and serve in your local church. Enjoy meeting people and getting to know them purely for friendship not for marriage. A man can smell it a million mikes away if you are desperate and chasing him. Just be yourself. If you are just being friendly and he thinks you are cheap, that's his headache! Don't let that stop you from being friendly to people. Smile a lot, meet people and be a happy person to have around.

5. BE GENEROUS: Stingy women who can't part with anything don't know what marriage is about. Be generous to people. Be generous with what you have. Be generous with your smile, your love, your talent, your service, your money, your prayers, whatever you've got that can bless lives. Generous women are men attractors, they never lack admirers.

6. BE FORGIVING: Forgive all your EX, forgive the guy who abused you or rape you, forgive all who disappointed you in the past. Practice advance forgiveness, forgive people before they hurt you, more people will offend you. If you find it difficult forgiving people, you will grow bitter and people will move away from you especially men. Release the man who promised you marriage but disappointed you and married someone else. Actually, you were not meant to be. If you had married him, you may have been divorced or dead! Thank God for it and move on. If you don't release that man you may never find any man to marry! Men will unconsciously move away from you and you will be singe and miserable for the rest of your life!

7. BE INTELLIGENT: Men like intelligent women. Know when, how and where to talk. Don't be a dummy upstairs. Know what is going on around you. You shouldn't be a naive, empty-brained, beauty queen. Your face may get you into the marriage, your brain will determine how long you last. A man likes a woman who can give intelligent answers to questions and contribute meaningfully to discussions. If he asks you, "Why is Nigeria in the mess we are in?" And you scratched your head, looked at the ceiling, bite your finger and say, "I don't know" Your brain needs revival!

8. BE NEAT: Dirty ladies are not good marriage candidates. Some ladies look great outside but if you see where they step out, you will remember world war 2! Very dirty, disorganized and rough to say the least! No sane man wants to marry a dirty woman. Learn to be neat. Take good care of your underwear, learn to shave. Keep off the body and mouth odour. Deal with the eczema and pimples, do your hair on time or comb it well. Always appear neat and presentable.

9. LEARN HOW TO DRESS WELL: Wear something that fits you, not what is in vogue. Get a good tailor who can sew clothes that fits your body shape. Learn about your body shape and wear something that flatters your figure. Straight ladies need clothes that flatters the waist line. There are some clothes good on hourglass not good on pear, apple shapes will look great in shirts and suits, pears will look great in gowns etc. I'm not saying you can't wear different kinds of clothes, just wear the ones that fit you. They make you sweet to look at and simply irresistible!

10. LOVE YOURSELF: You can't love others if you don't love yourself. Celebrate yourself. Accept yourself the way you are, you are simply the best. Don't envy anybody. Not everyone's got what you've got, celebrate your uniqueness. Men love ladies who love themselves. Don't envy someone else's looks, love what you have. Don't wish you have a fuller chest, heavy bum, sexy nose or longer hair. The man God created for you needs someone exactly like you and will fall in love with you just the way you are so chill and appreciate God.

11. BE GODLY: Godly women carry God and carry gold. Men find you irresistible.

12. BUILD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR DAD AND SIBLINGS: It tells a man how you will treat him in marriage.

13. BE FEMININE: Some women have masculine nature: the "Tomboys"! And there are men who love tomboys, honestly! Not with standing, learn how to sit like a lady and talk like a lady! It's "un woman" to sit with your laps thrown apart, you belch loudly after gulping a bottle of malt and barge in and out of a house like a soldier! Even soldiers are regal in their steps! Stop giving men the impression that they want to marry a man! Be ladylike! Learn it if it is not natural with you.

14: BE HARDWORKING: No man wants to marry a lazy, indolent, passive, idle, backward, sleeping, purposeless and visionless woman! You will attract your kind! If you want a hardworking man, be hardworking, up and doing, agile, proactive, versatile, business minded, creative and industrious. Learn how to make money and have an active bank account!

15: READ BOOKS: Ladies who read instead of jumping from house to house gossiping about nothing in particular don't lack good suitors. Read godly books that will bless your life and make you a testimony to others. My husband was attracted to me because I was a voracious reader. John Mason brought us together.

16: GODLY ASSOCIATIONS: Some women will never marry until they change their friends. If you want to marry fast, you will need to let go of your unserious friends who enjoy clubbing and get close to married women with beautiful marriages whom you can learn from!

These and more are the things you need to do to get a godly suitor and marry gloriously. You still need to pray though, some delay are spiritual in nature. No matter what you do, you may never get a man to marry if you don't break some yokes through earth shaking prayers and violent application of the word.

You should practice all these if you want to get married on time and also get in the word, pray against delay and deal with every stronghold and spiritual problems in your life. I see you getting married soon in Jesus name. Do not forget to send me an invitation. FEEL FREE TO SHARE. God bless you, cheers!
