Aza Montana: Hi, South Africa is a very nice place but lots of xhenophobia especially on South African guys towards nigerian man as they feel that 9ja boys take their woman, are very clever, sell drugs and do 419 which is partly true because South African woman looooove 9ja boys and a good one would do a lot to help her 9ja men ( Beware though as many see 9ja boys as wealthy and might try dig some gold out of you). Its hard fr Nigerians to get jobs in South Africa because many employes turn to generalise when it comes to Nigerians since most of the 9ja boys sell drugs or do fraud( its a fact). I have seen many good boys fresh from 9ja turn into crminals in South Africa mainly because of their own brothers. See most Nigerians are suffering in South Africa and when there is a new recruit they will pretend to be your friends only to rob you of everything you came from 9ja with then teach you wickedness but please do note that most of them once they make it they lke to open business mainly shops. I wish you all the luck but remember that its a jungle out there and if you do not watch out vultures will eat you alive and i am not talking about South Africans now i am talking about your own kind. South Africans are all talk and no action and xhenophobic attacks and crime levels have realy dropped as the Police are really trying ohh but beware of your own 9ja friends because they are the ones who will destroy you.
thanks brother for the info. It means you have to be careful of who you make friends with there in SA. 9ja guyz dey vex o

Contact south african embassy or check your dictionary to know the meaning. The embassy will also tell you whether your case may require you to pay the fees. But surely, if you come back to nigeria, the money will be giving back to you. 95% of young guy like u must pay.
thanks.

I told you to call the embassy to get more informations from them but here you are asking me question that you should get answers from 9ja. Not sure the actuall amount now for repatrition fees in 9ja but thinks it should be around 110,000k and ask him to mail the documents direct to you by mail and not fax.
thanks i will try and get the contact of the embassy. But please what is the meaning of that repatrition fee and is it must that i will pay it ?

If you will depend on the individual, you need the person to provide you with his/her bank statement in addition to yours. But if you have enough money in your account, don't mind using the person statement of account. If the person want to sponsor you, he should send this documents: invitation letter sighed by him, sworn affidavit that he will sponsor you in police station here in south africa, bank statement with official bank seal and signature, copy of I D or passport certified in police station. With these and other documents from you, you don't need an agent to do the visa but you may pay the repatriation fees
how his he going to forward those documents to me, is it by mail or fax ?
And how much is the repatrition fee ?

If some one is inviting me to south africa, is there any need for he or she to send me his or her bank statement too or the only thing they need in the embassy is just the invitation letter and the south african passport data page ?
Please i really want to know

henrychubayo: Plz let us all end the exchange of words here. The poster, you need to choice a of the place you want to go. Many too many enquiries will get you confused. Also, having some knowledge of football rules, you should be atleast 18 years for clubs to play you (for instance in the premiere league or top division). This is according to fifa rules and you must have played in your home country for some time before moving unless you grow up in that country. But if you can play well, try some clubs in south africa cause that rules normally is not implemented by africans. From south africa, you could move on. Please focuse on one thing so that you should not be confused. I gave you some important infos about south africa and bank statements with you enquired then. Don't create too many topics. Try to play for a club in 9ja because your foreign club will need certification from Nigeria football federation NFF and NFF will need confirmation from your local club to draft the document. Arrange everything one after the other. You will travel and that is my assurance
thanks bro.............

For me, johannesburg is the best. In joburg or jozzy, you will survive easily. Also, in other cities, foreigner could easily be attack or killed because of jealous of the local ppl on the progress or money you make but not in joburg. It has almost everything you need in this country.
thanks so much. Its a nice country. Are there lots of fun in joburg, where are the best place to have fun in joburg ?

You can ask any question you have and we try to answer it. As for the yellow fever issue, don't worry, cause no such deportation now. But i urge you to get it in the state ministry of health to avoid delay or query or fine concerning that but no deportation. Contact the club first to have them prepare 4 you. Nigerians playing here are very rich cause they pay very well.
thanks bro for the info...... Which city is the best to live there in south afrca ?

I doubt whether you can use your manager's bank statement to apply for visiting visa to visit your friend. If you use your friend's bank statement from south africa, it is much better than using the one from your manager. Also i remember that when i was still in 9ja applying 4 visa in 2010 and 2011, they requested my own personal bank statement even though, i state that my brother will support me. They may still request your own personal bank statement in addition to your friend or family. Try not to get a refusal 4 using a third party bank statement unless both of you answers the same surname. But you can still inquire from the embassy directly by calling them so that you can know whether or not to use it. Call them. Best wishes
thanks

First make adequate plan for ur studies. Here is not like europe where you can work and study. As for work, i cannot say that you can get or you cannot. All i know is that the white ppl have taken 70% of the work here. In fact, if you visit south africa and you will see that the rate of unemployment is too much for black south african. Meanwhile, whites knowing the brains 9ja have do not employ 9ja if they head the company. But who knows, you might be fortunate enough but is 5 out of 100. 1 room self con can be abt 2500k - 3000k rand. Cost of living daily should be abt 100 rand including food and transport. Good luck.
bro what about this yellow fever of a thing, the south african imigration are saying they are all fakes and they will deport if they found its fake. They even try to deport the people with the original saying thier batch number are not recognise. So how do i go about mine ? I dont want to be sent back

Bro it does not sound well if one going for a tourist visa to seek sponsorship especially not of family member relations. Could you arrange a club to invite you and state to the embassy that you wish to visit a football club here and will be sponsored by your manager. That sounds better. For tourist visit, it is assumed that you have what it take in terms of the finance to take such trip. But as a last resort, you could also try it. Best wishes
Okay thanks. What about if my friend in south africa is inviting me to south africa can i still use that my managers bank statement ? Can it work
