Religion / Re: Pastor Damina's Porn Addiction Remedy Enrages Conservative Christians by Karleb(m): 9:57am On May 04
The man highlighted a good way to stop addiction.

Don't form hard guy, but lose interest.

The best way is to however not get addicted in the first place.

Sending ❤️❤️ to all those struggling with addiction out there. God will see you through.
Family / Re: At 24 She Already Has 6 Fatherless Children. by Karleb(m): 3:53pm On May 03
There are people many of them like that.

Even in the US where contraceptive is cheap and available, they still have different children for different men at a very young age.

I don't have any more words. grin grin

Romance / Re: Why Are So Many Women So Bad At Having Sex? by Karleb(m): 11:41pm On May 02
Not just about sex.

A lot of Nigerian women were raised to be ordinary at anything and everything, there are lots of exceptions tho and I've come to realize that na we men dey cause am. Ajeh!

How many of we guys have straight up asked for what we want from a woman , be it your sister or your girl or your mum sef.

How many of you have asked your female colleagues for money? grin

We just give give and give, we only start complaining when we can't keep giving. It's not just about money alone here.

Dear Nigerian man, ask for what you want from women! Start asking early enough too. You will not die!

Amala and ewedu.

It annoys when I see people enjoying it.

That's like the lowest of the lowest food out there.

Politics / Re: Landmark Demolition: I'm Glad I Left Nigeria - Tayo Aina by Karleb(m): 8:30pm On May 01
People that are dead and people that have left Nigeria don't know what God has done for them.

In another place, they would pass the high way beneath the resort.

Why is fuel scarce and expensive now? We don't know. None of the several ministries could warn that fuel would be scarce, even when the ripple effects it has on everyone's life is significant.

And you people get angry when whites see us as inferior? grin grin

How come we still struggle with very solvable problems? grin grin

To be honest they don't care, just don't drop out of school or if you do you need to switch the sub category of your visa from student to work but that resets the count to get permanent residency.

Interviews I have done since I entered Chile is more than 200 interviews. I have interviewed with cisco, Amazon, other big companies. I have even interviewed with the state bank of Chile sef. I failed a lot of my initial interviews but after cracking how to do them well. I wasn't still getting any offers except comments like we went with a better candidate and stuff like that but they will say I am really sound technically. Funny enough my current offer supercedes everything I have interviewed for.

Was this the only offer you got?

What is the tech stack you will be working with now?

It really depends on the course. If your masters is a professional masters you will only have classes on weekends but if it's an academic one, you will have classes everyday. The law says 30 hours but absolutely no one is checking that stuff here. No one cares lol. You can even own your own business on a student visa here. I was doing Uber eats for a while and I went more than 30 hours consistently

cheesy omo! I thought they were strict on that. But wouldn't that affect attedance tho?

What was the interview to offer ratio like when you finally got a hang of the interview process?
Travel / Re: Memoirs From Chile by Karleb(m): 1:52am On May 01
tensazangetsu20:

The interview process in this part of the world is something else entirely. What I will advise people especially people going as students is to start the job search from day one. Try and make the mistakes all early and get used to the process. I am surprised that a few people wait until their program ends to start looking for work.

Don't you think it could be because they think they might not be able to dedicate enough hours for the job before graduation?

I believe Chile has a minimum study hours that students shouldn't go below per week.

On a serious note, this Chile tax seem very interesting.

Bros. My present salary is like 400 percent what I was earning in Nigeria and since the income is coming from outside Chile it's tax free for the first 3 years. I only need to pay my pension and health insurance. It's unbelievable. It's literally life changing money and even when I start paying taxes it's just 19 percent a month.

Omo e. shocked shocked

That's a great one. Maybe you would write about the process, it so boys can learn.

In the meantime, abeg do fuel giveaway! wink

Got a crazy unbelievable job offer here. Still feels unreal. After over 200 interviews including recruiter calls. God is great. Truly by strength shall no man prevail but by the power and mercy of God.

The gym is better, I did 2 months, got a bit muscular, felt happier and my brain refreshed, I think everyone should hit the gym, it really helps

Thing about life is, if you don't choose an addiction, life will choose it for you.

One day one day, I will follow una enter gym. cheesy

I used to douse my Colos with Ghana loud to reduce the effect, never smoked Colos alone, until i stopped after i thought i ran mental. I was actually on my knees praying not to be addicted, cuz it hit me so hard, i thought I was gone mentally

Thank God for your life bros.

Drug addiction is one of the worst additions out there.

It's better to be a bet or woman addict. These, I consider the lesser evils.

That's odd, I used to be hooked on Colos for a while, but after prayers I kicked the habit, but I've never heard anyone dying from it, not defending it, but it's bad anyway. It brings an intense feeling of doom

I want to believe the body respond to these drugs differently.

It's like how some people would almost die if they drink milk or sugar.

I know 2 people that will never be normal again because of Indian hemp.

I have actually pimped ladies to men. I just didn't take it seriously as I was managing my parents' hotels. The potential earnings would not be more than what I managed. Also, I was not in Lagos or Abuja, where there were wealthier men who wanted privacy while seeking hookers.

But pimping is something I have done.

The difference now is that people want quick money. Do you know what it takes for a graduate to serve food and wash plates in a restaurant? And learn how to braid and sew? Only months before then I was sitting in the front seat of a handsome dude’s car forming “babe” Do you think it was easy to walk away from that kind of luxury to face hardship? How many young girls of nowadays can do that? But even in the relationship I face oppression that I knew would only get worse in marriage!!!

The advantage they have now is even more than what we had back then. Now everyone makes money through tik Tok and YouTube. Lots of IT and STEM opportunities that we never had then. Now people work in Nigeria and earn in foreign currencies from providing services online. There are now very organized importation and exportation businesses. The girl I buy foodstuffs from to ship abroad is only 24. You think she will marry an old man out of desperation?

I have nephews and nieces who are recent graduates and already working, some are into businesses. The way we were raised, no offspring of ours will ever see hook up as a means of income.

My boss made her daughter learn make up, nails, hair, sewing, all while she was in the university. Even though she knew she was sending the girl abroad after graduation.

My point is that, you are what you make of yourself. Rich people stay rich because they plan their future. Poor people plan based on other people’s benevolence!

My daughter braids at 13 and she does it for fun now, but this is a skill that can earn her money in the future.

I pray I don’t teach them that things are hard now and it’s okay to follow men for money. What kind of mother would I be?

God bless you ma!

You have stated many points on this thread that I really love.
