Politics / Re: Hembe & His Deputy Chris Azubogu Admit Collecting Estacode For Trip by niddamugu(m): 5:48pm On Mar 27, 2012 |
Well, I'd suggest we put one finger on that page so that we do not lose track of the drama especially the "spark" that triggered this revelation. This is Nigeria and before we know it, the issue would be swept under the carpet. Ms Oteh's case should not be left out and should be investigated along side. Meanwhile, we (as Nigerians) should follow the other developed countries (if we wish to develop), by first making sure that whosoever has any case to answer especially of magnitude like this should first honorably resign from (public or private) office, follow the investigative process and if found guilty, should be brought to face the law, or reinstated if otherwise. |

Atigba: Bleep Obama.....this is racism.....Obama this is my word to you... may you never return as the America president....Nonsense What is racism there? Is Obama not black? Is he not an African descent? Use your brain boy. I wished she was nominated for the job not because i wanted her in there but because i wanted her out of here and as fast as possible. |

yuzedo: Apart from the really hilarious comments/vitriols (e.g. Cattle-f.ucker tribe ), y'all are just being hypocrites. If you had a sibling who was unemployed and this came up, you would THINK the same thoughts. Acting it out is another matter. And personally if i had the power, i would F.UCKING "nepotise" my brother into the slot if possible! You need to change your thought pattern. This is not different from using forged certificate to secure employment. He would enjoy the pleasure of "sin" but for a season and once he's caught, the jail term could end his career for life. Learn from Esau who lost his birth right just because of a single meal. |

Nairaland is fast becoming boring by the day. How can somebody post such a topic and expect reasonable answers. This is like telling God to protect you on the journey towards robbery. This cannot work and I cannot advice you more than that. Let you and your brother go to the nearest police station and report yourselves because what you are about to do, in case you don't know, is IMPERSONATION. |
Politics / Re: Is A Female President The Only Hope For Nigerians To Witness Good Governance? by niddamugu(m): 7:05pm On Mar 22, 2012 |
jobfront: Looking at the events of things in Nigeria from 1960 to date, it is one to be worried about; in fact, it’s as if we are yet to obtain independence because everything is in a state of shambles. So my question now is: haven tried several male presidents and vice presidents, who failed woefully and are still failing with their numerous unfilled promises of good governance and dividends of democracy, can it be that a female president is what Nigeria needs to break away from corrupt leadership and maybe start to enjoy good governance? Please let's hear your say on this. Thank you fellow patriotic Nigerians. CAPITAL NO! We are not ripe for such. The men are still struggling under the dictates of their wives and bringing the wives to the fore will be a big disaster. Nigeria is yet to really have a produce even a single president that was elected by the people . . . By the time that happens, the nation will be better Right on point! |

Politics / Re: Sylva’s Aides Abscond With 200 Vehicles by niddamugu(m): 12:15pm On Mar 22, 2012 |
This is no issue. Vehicles are much more tangible than cash. Let the police do their job and track and recover the vehicles from whosoever they have been given/sold to. The two impossible recovery scenarios are if any has gone across the border and complete write-off as a result of accident or "butchering" (mbuka & owode onirin) |
Politics / Re: SEC Denies Offering Herman Hembe ₦30M Bribe by niddamugu(m): 6:01pm On Mar 21, 2012 |
I love this power play. It is healthy for our democracy. If all others (male & female) can be as courageous as this woman (in mentioning names without fear of being intimidated), then the EFCC and allied agencies will have genuine tasks in their hands. |
Business / One Of Nigeria's Innovative Entrepreneur - Isaac Durojaiye Is Dead by niddamugu(m): 4:31pm On Mar 21, 2012 |
His name may not sound familiar but his business cannot but be noticed especially at every major bus stops in Lagos. When he first started, he was mocked but until his death yesterday, he was a force to reckon with in the "shit" business. His slogan was "Shit business is good business". He was the Founder/CEO of mobile toilet business in Nigeria. His business brought relief to most people especially when pressed at an unholy place. Rest in peace Sir. http://www.modernghana.com/movie/17965/3/tragedy-isaac-durojaiye-is-dead.html

Godman_n: My guy, this is harsh. It is a function of the system. Remember, we were on something similar last week. Our system of government simply makes a wise man foolish, a sane man mad, a good thing worthless, an intellectual stupid and lastly, a worthless thing valuable See what money can do? The system needs cleansing. |

Wrong step in the right direction. After this what next? Create jobs rather than "dash" money. Besides, are they all indigenes of the state? If they must "dash" out money, they should make it very substantial - millions/billions |
