Amdman.

I feel you my brother, we have been there, be strong and God will definitely answer you, try all you can to calm your wife down, take a lot of holidays or weekend breaks and always keep your wife happy! Distract her from those moments of deep thot as much as you can and pls you've sown enough seed, reduce the amount of fertility crusades you attend as they indirectly put pressure on everyone and be close to God. Your day of dancing will soon come.....my guy I feel you more than you know as we waited for 10 years. I will sow a seed on your behalf as well. It is well

Celebrities / Re: Eniola Badmus Tweets At Critics Of Her Swim Photos by orisebawo(m): 8:50am On May 31, 2013
It is quite funny how some people seem to find it easy to judge fat women, how many of you have advised your obese mum, aunties, sisters or even bosses at work to commit to a gym. We like the make belief world, my advise is if you don't like Eniola move on and stop insulting her, after all your friends or colleagues don't call your sisters or mum ugly when they see them even though they might be. I respect Eniola for standing up for what she believes in, whether I like it or not is irrelevant, the point is she is being real. Most of those castigating her are those who would deny their family in public if they don't fit the profile the world expects. Besides is there a better form of exercise than swimming

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Graduate Drivers Trainee Interview by orisebawo(m): 7:30am On Sep 29, 2012
First i want to commend all those who decide to go for the interview, it shows a lot about your level of thinking and I pray you succeed, What is so demeaning about being a driver that a graduate cant apply for it, that is why Nigeria is where it is, we believe a dream should be about an office job. Which is why people look down on the drivers, mechanics and security guards of this world (yet you put your life and your family in their hands). Some of you will rather remain unemployed collecting money from mum and dad to survive than drive a trailer, most successful men started with jobs most people didnt like but they succeeded. Is there anyone here who doesnt believe we need sane truck drivers, especially when you think of all the accidents that happen on the road, is there anyone who while driving next to a truck, wont pray that the driver is sane and in the right frame of mind. I would be happy to know we have graduates driving trucks and it is my prayer that after a while they too will start their truck business, we all want money in Nigeria but dont want to get our hands dirty.when you see a multi million dollar truck company in the western world, 90% of the owners started as truck drivers and most of them ask for their name to be put on the roster twice a year to join the drivers in hauling products round the country, in their words it helps staf morale. When truck drivers decide to strike anywhere in the world, eveything stops and i mean EVERYTHING.Which is why they arent taking for granted.

I am not saying it is the best job in the world but if someone decides they want to do it then you have no right to discourage them unless you have a job to give them.

TV/Movies / Re: 'last Flight To Abuja' Rated '4' In The Uk Cinemas by orisebawo(m): 9:13pm On Aug 06, 2012
I am happy for the film , the director and the crew, it doesnt matter if some people dont see it at success but at least they are working at it. We are very critical of anything Nigeria and would trash it at the slightest opportunity.

If you think any business is easy, go and try selling bread for a start and you will know the easiest thing is to buy bread and eat, but dont ever try and rubbish the man that bakes the bread. Rome wasnt built in a day and it takes a lot of practise to get to perfection, yes nollywwod might not be hollywood but in terms of making the best use of what they have, you have to give it to them. How many of us actually buy films or albums, we always want to download or watch on Youtube for free, even Hollywood wont have survived if it is as heavily pirated as Nollywood.

I am not saying they are very good but I have special respect for those who try because they are building the foundation for a greater tomorrow.

Atleast we know them for something....what will we all be known for?

Hi Spyder,. welldone and God bless you, how i wish i have known about this tread when i started my project.

Will a twin 5 room duplex sit comfortable on a 712sqm land, about 30m by 23m with enough space for parking.

I have a problem on a project of mine, when the door frames were fitted, they found out the door was longer than the std 7ft, so they added more wood at the bottom to make up the difference, roll fwd 2 years time when its time to fix the doors,I now realised the door sizes are uneven, and some of the frames are twisted and the doors cant be fitted.

What will be your advise.

Thanks for your support.

Whenever you are in Lagos, please let us know, Ajah lekki calls you oh....lol

I commend the Nigerian governmrnt for its gallant move, SA's action is actually a blessing in disguise, as it allowed us the opportunity of doing a cost benefit analysis, which am sure they sent to SA, The king might be sick but the king is still alive.

Every government in the world is corrupt, its just that while most countries have graduated to Strategic corruption, we are still practicing Operational corruption

God Bless Nigeria

Career / Re: Accountants: ACCA, ICMA Or ICAN. by orisebawo(m): 7:19am On Feb 21, 2012
My advice is to go for ACCA if that is your goal, 21 years isn't young to start ACCA and besides instead of spending 3 yrs on CAT you might as well spend it studying ACCA.

After spending 3 yrs with CAT you might lose steam to go another 2 or 3 yrs for ACCA
Career / Re: Accountants' Forum. by orisebawo(m): 6:55am On Feb 21, 2012
Nice Topic,

The ERP package is an important tool fortoday's accounting but there is no such thing as a one size fits all package, for instance i have worked in different companies using excel and they arenever the same, this is because the system you get depends on the business requirement you give to the software company e.g Oracle SAP etc, no doubt the interfaces might be similar but the functionalities will differ, while you have some oracle package that have the Oracle financial, procurement and Hr all linked, you have some without the HR function and some will only the Financials and projects, while some will have the OFA which makes it easier to extract information from the ledger others don't have this facilities.

It all boils down to what the company is ready to spend on IT and what advantages it will derive from it, you will be surprised that there are FTSe 100 companies that don't a financial project package and have to depend on Excel to drive the process.

For the gentleman that has finished ACCa and wants to do ICAN, well it is a good idea and there are many things you will learn that isn't included in ACCA, for example the Nigerian tax rule and the legal framework is different from what you would have learnt in ACCA, ICAN does a one week conversion course, without ICAN I don't think you can sign off a financial report in Nigeria, for your information there less than 34,000 ICAN members in a country of 160 million.
