Remarkable:
No, sir!

What is laughable is that Adekunli could NOT... I repeat... could NOT stand Igbos when he entered the center of Igbo land.

He claimed he would shoot at things that move and didn't move....

but when talk came to action.... he fled!

Quote me, he ran!

Adekunli ran!

So much for sucha man that simply talked too much.

Not too much for a coward though grin
The only person that fled was Ojukwu. Adekunle never fled. There was a change in the command of the 3 divisions of the army on May 12, 1969.
-Col. Illya Bissalla relieved Col. Muhammed Shuwa as the GOC of the First Division.
-Col. Gibson Jallo relieved Col. Ibrahim Haruna as the GOC of the Second Division.
-Col. Olusegun Obasanjo relieve Col. Benjamin Adekunle as the GOC of Third Marine Commando.

All is not fair in war. I am a father and anybody that trades his weapon at children, war or not, will never get my respect. It's a sign of weakness. It's pathetic that in this age someone is saying that all is fair in war. It is not an ethnic issue. It's about humanity.
if adekunle is to b charge for war crimes, den ojukwu will also b charge for war crimes,,biafran soldiers invaded d mid western region, dey killed pple in d mid west, dey killed alot of hausa in benin,,go and ask abt a biafran army officer called d Hannibal

The reverse is actually the case. The fact that we are here talking about him means as far as the civil war is concerned he will never be confined to the dusting of history.
Mention Biafra and the man who killed it will be mentioned.

Being spoken about doesn't mean a person isn't a pariah, bad example and ultimately a failure. The likes of idi amin, adekunle, murtala mohammed and their fellow murderers will forever be spoken about and will live forever in the dustbin of history.

Even the "rebel" got a better burial than the man wet Yoruba don tell us na Nigerian "hero" grin grin I don die. Where's even the chief of army self? Even Gowon didn't go. At least him not going to ojukwu's own is understandable but wet in be his excuse for missing his most "prized warrior" according to Yoruba's. Hahahahahahaha. Not even one northern leader sef grazed this man's burial. At least Igbo leaders not going is understandable but wet in happen with the north leaders. Hmmmm even his own people leaders no dey. I don die laughing.

Oya the entire world make una come see "hero" burial
I said it before and I'll say it again..adekunle or is it odekunle is the biggest much known on the planet. Used and dumped like a piece of tissue. An over sagged ashawo kitten.

Anyway, thank Una for the picture. I needed the laughter

He had a job to do and he did it well. He was only about 28 years old with the task of keeping his country together. All the "shoot at everything" was just youthful exuberance. We know for a fact that most people who died in Biafra died of hunger not gunshot.

gowon was actually at mimiko birthday party in ondo yesterday,I guess that's why he couldn't come but actually why you people comparing adekunle with ojukwu,I guess ojukwu is high in rank than adekunle aside ojukwu is also a regional military leader back then while adekunlw was just one powerful military fighter, note:igbos hatred towards adekunle makes him more popular, there are more igbos who knw adekunle than yorubas, even a young kid from south east knows him than his/her yoruba mate.

Why was Tinubu not there after reeling off the man's 'achievement and heroic deeds' on camera and pages of newspapers? What of the reps that held a minute of silence in his 'honour'? These people are pretentious even to their own kins. The fact that Igbos hate him is enough reason for his kinsmen to troop out and Bury him.
Igbos treat(ed) Ojukwu like a hero and the whole world followed suit.

Adekunle that's too much of a coward to fight real men instead he went after the weaker individuals akawomwn and children. The adekunle that boosted how he'll beat everything that moves once he gets to igboland and upon arriving in igboland, he got beaten so many times that Gowon immediately demoted him and replaced him. The adekunle that kept shouting how he'll kill igbos yet ironically majority of his prisoners were the minorities he claimed he was trying to "save". Do remind me again, what was his reply on that his oh so famous mouth talking with no backing when the oyinbo asked him why were his prisoners and victims non igbos, oh yeah that's right " in case there are Igbo among them.". You mean the adekunle that took credit for alabi-Isama's works? Or do you mean the adekunle that fought for oil yet not one drop touch his poverty ridden self. Is that the adekunle you are talking about? Abeg don't make me even laugh.

It is more funny that the man deemed a rebel and a destroyer of Nigeria so called "unity" got a better burial than the one his people disturbed us for years attesting how the entire country called a "hero". Once again, look at your hero's burial. Even my late dog got a better burial than this

Adekunle was fighting a civil war at the age of 28 when most of you are still looking up to Mummy and daddy.
A war is not a picnic, and I don't think the scorpion was a perfect man but he was a damn good soldier.
