When i see how gullible our youths are i tend to weep for this country.

Why are we so easily deceived? Definitely the diplomatic ties between Jonathan and Zuma must have paved way for this new story for the gods.

The point still remains that the total process was wrong and a violation of the money laundry act so why cant we call blue blue and be true to ourselves.

Over N5tn in government funds have been stolen through fraud, embezzlement and theft since President Goodluck Jonathan assumed office on May 6, 2010, a SUNDAY PUNCH investigation has found.

Our so called Catholic brothers quickly put up a thread distancing their self from CAN and to ridicle the innocent CAN president. Now, that the story is otherwise can you take back all your insults?

The pentecostals followed your leadership since time immemorial now the trend has shifted, why don't you support him?

Thank you my brother, i think the most popular pastime in Nigeria is to bash Mr President however his good intention and ignorantly some people down south with limited knowledge of just the common geography of their backyard are often hoodwinked to follow the bandwagon of deceit colored in sentiments.I am from the North and i know in fact convinced that GEJ's leadership whatever the flaws are limited as he never was the founder nor created the crisis in the land, some ugly potbelly, slim Boko haram godfathers and their sponsors bestride the land with eloquent rhetoric; and their lackeys jumped at the quickest jargon to entrench the evil-- somebody said this on a thread here, "that to whom much education is given so much common sense is anticipated in return.

Propaganda cum propagandum. Monies have changed hand. After almost a month? How long does it take to verify the legitimacy or otherwise of a transaction? How can a legitimate deal be made by flying cash around undocumented without the presence of senior officials from the office of the National Security Adviser nor Ministry of Defense nor any of the Service Chiefs. What kind of a deal that will contravene the laws of Money laundering and the CBN cashless policy.. What kind of a "legitimate" deal that will use a private jet belonging to a "Pastor" and Jonathan's ally, ex Armed robber(lols) and controversial figure rather than one of the over 12Presidential Jet? Very funny

The news article that the OP or is it daily post is referring to can be found here:
http://www.citypress.co.za/politics/another-sa-nigerian-arms-deal-bust/

It doesn't in any way exonerate the FG from stupidity. Instead, it ridicules the FGNs proclivity to making dumb cross border financial transactions.

If the government wanted so badly to 'illegally' buy weapons without the global watchdogs catching them, they should have been sensible enough to use someone without diplomatic immunity that will not be searched e.g the SA ambassador.

In fact, our ambassadors to some countries such as SA should be professionally trained spies not ordinary politicians

The heading or title of this topic is clear. The south African government hasn't cleared Nigeria and the money remain seized. This is just a private media report obviously paid by our theiving politicians to cover up their cleptocracy. Am so ashamed of our country.

APC is an angry peoples party and in their quest to take over the corridors of power they are more than willing to say and do anything . The image of the country doesn't mean anything to them it's all about occupying Aso Rock and steal just like their PDP counterpart .

APC is being managed by the same bunch of thieves that left PDP.
Show me one man in APC that isn't corrupt.
I'd rather stick to the devil I know than the angel I cannot figure out his face.
PDP all the way until a formidable and credible party shows up and not some bunch of disgruntled PDP members masquerading themselves as opposition party members.

Oh my GOD.

I have ben wondering about so many issues concerning this siezed 9.7m usd and i cant shake off these questions.

1.Could it be that the federal government actually purchased that jet for the CAN president because i dont see where he can get money to buy such considering his financial prowess.

2.Could it be that the fed government have been using this clergy jet to smuggle out our money ofcourse with a ready document to back the act incase they are found out?

3,Could it be that pres Zuma of south Africa have had a secret pally with Jonathan to save the fed government of Nigeria this big shame hence bringing out he new story for the gods?

*Just wondering*

What money laundering are you talking about? You think the American government who sing the gospel of money laundering doesn’t engage in coverts operations of money smuggling through the CIA? You think Companies like Chevron, Halliburton, KFC, MTN, TOTAL etc don't engage in money laundering?

The press statement wasn't for your type who have made up their mind to destroy instead of partner with Nigeria and the elected government.
Let me share this point with you -
I can't remember the date, there was a time the "govt" secretly decided to train snipers and small arm specialists to counter terrorism which involved combating the already growing insurgency as at that time was overwhelming the police in the north - the deal had been sealed with the same Israeli govt and el rufai and co came screaming it was for him and that deal was taken off.
Now with the israeli again and obviously envious South africans another secret deal that includes helicopter equipments , guns etc - the same thing comes on.
We recently sent some troops to Russian and noone heard a word cos you won't joke with those guys
We are more on the side of this "govt" headed by Mr President and his team and we welcome the noise cos it makes us pray unceasingly for Nigeria.
