There is no need to place too much emphasises on a gone case. Tambuwal was a nobody before GEJ appointed him speaker of House of Rep, today Tambuwal has returned back to obscurity. The honourable thing to do Tambuwal as done in any civilised country or model democracy such as the US and UK, is to resign ur post as speaker first and then defect to the opposition. We have examples of American Congressman and UK MPs that have done so. Defecting is not the problem but resignation? Oh well, prepare for impeachment. Mods, I know nairaland is an APC site alongside sahara reporters but stop hiding comments that criticise APC. 12 Likes |

Mynd44:whatever you mean by catch 22 or 2/3 bla bla bla, that face_of_thief n ungrateful tambouwal whatever that means, ought not wait to be impeached. He need no jack to tell him he oughtta relinquish da speakership position now that hes ported his goddamm betraying arsse to that reckless enclave of hyenas n jackals. Afterall, theres some honor among thieves. And seriously,an 'unbiased' mod like u shudnt be posting such careless n reskless commentry typical of janjaweieds or ur arsse shud be demoddd, word. 4 Likes |

It's only sensible for him to resign. He knows that the PDP members will go for his jugular, that is why he has delayed his defection up til this moment. Everyone knows Tambuwal is APC in principle;he has been in deep romance with the opposition. 5 Likes |

He should relinquish the position of speaker as obtainable every where in the world. Majority always lead. On the memory lane, In 2011 He decamp from ANPP to PDP. so where the odds will favour him for a particular position hr switches over. once a monk will always be a monk. Jesus is Lord!!! |

redcliff:They disregard the law. Actually, it was Obasanjo and PDP that started it in his first term. It became worse from 2007, you will see elected officials porting from party to party without a clear vision. The Constitution is clear, EXCEPT there is a division in the Party or the party cease to exist, then defected officials must relinquish their position. This is the law!!! The PDP is being served their own pills 2 Likes |

Resign..He has to resign from the platform that got him into power and into the seat he is presently occupying.. Do you think he was the smartest of all members in the house before being elevated to the position he attained? PDP is a party of champion and can make you an achiever from nothing... He is to resign from the party and the seat and house because we made him who he is... Well 'was' very soon.... This is just the beginning of his down fall from grace (PDP) to grass (the rest political parties). 1 Like |
