Thanks, Walspring. The last time I called them, they said I should give them 10 working days and that will be like on 9th of December. The delay is because the first statement of account I sent thru DHL to the school showed delivered whereas the school said they did not receive it after couple of weeks that I sent it.

My scholarship organisation firm cares about that because we wont give you scholarship or GA or TA if you don't pass GRE....

I greet every respectful member of this house.I have been following this thread for some time now, you guys are doing great job here .I have a question I need your wise answers and advises .I was given admission to run a masters program in the states spring 2015(physics General) and inside my I-20 I saw funding from this school: spacifying, ESL scholarship.Though English instruction is made available .Now I want to ask, is it good to talk about this funding during my interview before Vo,because the money is just a small amount or should I leave it until Vo finds out.because from what I read here,any form of funding increases the chances of getting a visa.Please I need your excellent suggestions.I also have Gre score I did not write toefl.Thanks God blessings to you all

nah SIUE require official transcript, GRE/GMAT and toefl scores. Only thing they dont require is reco letters. May be different for undergrad though

Been surfing the net relentlessly, but the myriad of admission information i have to read through has made the whole process tough.


Abeg like four/ five..... am trying to select schools i would send my scores to on friday.

I got admitted for MS Environmental sciences and all I emailed to them was my transcript and statement of purpose. Maybe it's different per program. App fee $30

Na wah o. Those are pretty lax standards. It was their management information systems program that had those requirements i put there. They were so finicky about having my official transcript. In truth, all i did was make a copy of my originals and sent it to them thru my friend putting my uni as sender. Did it to all five schools i applied to, saved me a godawful amount of money than if i had gone thru my uni which now charges 20k per yankee transcript.

Stanford, MIT, Princeton , University of kansas or Wichita State university? Jokes aside, You gotta do ur research bro, no handholding for this one. There are lots of mech schools all over. No one knows what you can afford, ur cgpa or ur potential GRE score, and research interests if any. But if i must, u can try University of Texas arlington, University of North Texas, Texas A &M, Louisiana State University. All relatively affordable with good to ok programs. But u'll need min of a 3.0/4 cgpa and 155+ in GRE Quant to give urself a good chance. Good luck tomorrow

Either you mention it or not the VO will see that stated on your I-20 but you can mention it if you like because sometimes it helps..
