Terrorist attack in Sydney CBD omfg I can't believe this is happening

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by iriferi(m): 5:24am On Dec 15, 2014
just watching it right now... the police at sydney said they haven't spoken to the man that held people hostage at the cafe, so they don't know if he is a terrorist and they also don't know what he want... let's just pray no one is hurt or will be hurt...

Here are the details I want info on

Pls what is the estimated living costs per month, for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids under 2). I've been getting some quotes online, but you know whities own definition of average standard of living is different from a Nigerian's definition lol.We intend staying in a 1-bedroom apt, with or without carpark at first, pending the time we get a job and can move to a 2...just to manage our savings. No luxurious living, just the basic needs sorted and maybe a few luxuries here and there e.g few eat outs, outing for the kids.

Yeap you are. Duties listed must be the same as your nominated occupation.

You also need payslips and bank statements/tax documents, showing salary deposits.

Okay. Have any idea the cost of bills for a family unit like mine?

What's the average time it takes to get a job?

Also, how much would you advise a family of 2 adults and 2 infants bring along to Aus, pending the time one or both paremts get a job?

You mean all these documents in bold? I can get all those from my present but for the past probably only bank statement/tax documents.

Okay...my waterbill is never over 20 dollars forsome weird reason . In australia, you only pay for excess water used. Synergy (Nepa) and alinta(gas) bill was about 131 and 101 dollars respectively....and that was the highest I have paid in a while so I am guessing its because of winter.

My phone and internet bill are linked together and I pay between 110-131 monthly for a 100GB data

It depends on the location....WA have more opportunities(job wise) than all the states combined...but if you can start with a grocery store like woolworths, coles, IGA you might get some income in pending on when you get a job in your profession area.

As per money issue.....empty ya account cheesy

For both present and past employers, you need -

Employer reference/Statutory declaration
Payslips
Bank Statement/Tax documents.

Most important of the 3 are the employer reference/Stat dec and Bank Statements/Tax docs.

If you can't get employer reference from your past employer, you need to get a stat dec.

Thanks sis. I also went to the Coles website to get an idea of the cost of groceries...so I think I have a pretty good idea of expenses per month.

Ermmm....I wan ask one kweshun....how does the utility bill get registered in your name, since one is a tenant. In Naija, the bills paid shows under the Landlord's name....but in Aus, it shows the name of the tenant residing currently.

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 8:44am On Dec 16, 2014
When you arrive Australia, you should ring synergy and alinta and give them your details over the phone...they would register your bills under your name.

Your real estate agent should give you all the details and will also tell you how to go about it
