@ essosa, please read back, I ve xplain how I went abt my present job in abu dhabi here last month. Every health profession is employed here, the only barrier is licence. So you either search and pray for a
sponsor or do it your self.

I am not a regular reader of this forum , but I bounced in once in a while. Lemmie tell you more about Qatar. Qatar is a very good country if you are a professional. but I am not trying to discourage anybody here. The truth will always be bitter. I hate it when I see my naija brothers in a bad situation. Qatar is not a place where you can do business like Dubai, they have a very strict laws. if any of you will always want to come to Qatar. you must have it at the back of your mind that ,,,there is no ready made job anywhere. you have to come here and search for job, but mind you, you must have your professional certificates which will enhance you in getting a well paid job. Finally, its all about prayer. No one can help you but God in your job search. and beware of agents cos they are after your money. my cents

Also, I hear there is a doc that's needed from MOH to start the licensure exam thingy, please help confirm, as I might have to sponsor myself.

its 11 minutes by Taxi and 27 to 30 Dirhams. By metro its 7 Dirhams. Take the red line going to Jebel Ali and then Stop at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall.

I applied directly to hospitals, clinics and also through job sites. Once u ar not in UAE, any organisation interested in u know they will sponsor u. There are orgs that recruits both within and abroad, while some recruit just within UAE.
Just keep sending your CV as much as u can, by God's Grace, one will click.
Finally my brother, its just God, the number of pple entering this country on dailly basis is much. When I went for my emirate ID, come see pple. Two middle age men sitting by my side were both consultants, I was listening to their discusions, and latter I saw their hospital car came and pick them.
God will see u through.

I was told taxi drivers work 12 hours shift e.g 4am - 4pm. I also heard somewhere they make 3000-4000 aed monthly. It's all heresay, can't confirm if all this is true. Maybe others here can help you better.

Please be careful what you do. Of the times I have been here, I haven't entered a Dubai taxi driven by a Nigerian.

Someone promising you employment visa is most likelylooking to scam you. Be wise and don't be fooled by these agents.
