and who told u that power will go back to southwest when it comez back to south?the 8yearz obasanjo spent was it for which region?

And the 6 years that GEJ has spent, is it for which region? You see where our folly started? If we say that GEJ is our son and brother, that means IGBOS are the one ruling now. And it would only be fair that a northerner hands over to a SWner. Dont you think?

How many federal roads has GEJ built in Aba? How many Federal Projects has GEJ initiated and completed in aba? if you give me just one, then i would vote for him. Because of stupid politics he stopped geometric from operating. I know that by now, aba denizens should have been enjoying uninterrupted power supply.

How many did Buhari build for Aba.

Vote out PDP in ABA. But vote for Goodluck.

Now lets follow your logic. You think GEJ, if he wins this February, would choose an Igbo man as a successor? really? Let me tell you what would happen in PDP if GEJ wins. if GEJ wins this year and completes his four years, his successor would be a northerner, after which a south westerner would take over. Because we, the myopic igbos have made them to believe that GEJ is our brother. Therefore GEJ is utilizing our slot. Don't you see how lame that is?
....or even someone from the middle-belt sef.
No hope of having an Igbo presidency in PDP for the next 50years. What a shame!!

Brother, let us be civil.

I can assure you that the majority of Igbos want change as well. They just want assurance that there will be a level playing field for all Nigerians under Buhari.

Forget the noise on NL, most Igbos want change!

I am born and brought up in aba. (nwa aba) and like we say, he who wears the shoe knows where it pains.

Since the era of PDP government in aba, a city that used to be the pride of the east has turned to a laughing stock for the whole federation. Aba is now synonymous with bad road. "are your roads as bad as aba's? " This pains me greatly because I know that aba used to have the best roads in the east as a whole. Azikiwe straight to faulks road then to aba owerri roads where model roads that had no patches. Built in the 80s yet lasted, even without maintenance into the 2000s.

I remember when Ariaria market was an international market. people used to come from Lagos, Kaduna, calabar , Ghana, Togo, Cameroon... all west Africa to buy goods from aba. Most companies had their major distributors in aba then.

Then the companies too. in the whole of the east, in terms of industries, after Enugu, you count aba. we had PZ, May baker, Nigerian breweries, Unilever (dad used to work there), aba textile company, vita foam, and many others too numerous to mention.
if you are really a nwa aba you would know that these things I'm saying is true.

Then the housing schemes were working. As long as you are a government worker, you are entitled to own a house if you want. You are given a free land to develop in the world bank estate. You can even borrow a loan to build your house from the mortgage bank. That is how my dad was able to build our home. I mean a poor man is entitled to a house.

We used to have free tap water in those days.

Now what have we seen since after PDP?

Bad roads everywhere you turn. its a fact that no single road in aba is up to standard. Na only wait and take road you see here.

The one that annoys me most is power. you see I live in the middle of two power plants. Geometrics and Alaoji. And I could tell you that since last month, ive not seen any power in my house.

Why the heck is geometries not in operation yet? A 450 million dollars project. Is wickedness Jonathan's nature or is he just a pure badluck?

I'm not an APC supporter but i m sick and tired of PDP and what they are doing to my beautiful city.
Oga, it is not a party thing, it is d person thing. Other PDP governors in some states did well. For example, Godswill Akpabio. When T. A come out for second term, He lied That He was in Bondage. Now he's free, what did do. My annoyance is That Abians are Psychophants. If not, why should He be voted for senate. Nothing should make any body vote for PDP because "father, Na the same people". At least in Abia, APGA is d party with the right candidate

Why did GEJ sack Bart Nnaji sef? I thought that man was doing a great job. Its the likes of Diezani and Wike that he will allow to continue.

You're very right there. And to imagine we were experiencing steady improvement of power in his time. I don't know how to describe this

I also live in aba. But i must tell you that we should not vote someone because of his party, rather,on individuals personality and quality. For me and most aba citizens we are going for alex oti(apga),though initially our man was uche ogah(pdp) but oga orji rigged the primaries and installed his idol, formal asepa chairman, okezie ikpeazu

Amos Adams do you realise how foolish you are?
You know that your Delta state is 100% PDP and Buhari's chance of winning any state in the South east, even though low, is a thousand times bigger than his chances of winning in Delta?
We have APGA we can always vote for at Gubernatorial level..why not channel your energy towards getting your Delta brothers to abandon PDP first before harassing Igbos everywhere for the same reason? This is pure foolishness.

pls he is not being ethnocentric rather he is saying the reality. This is not about civil war, this is politics. Do you think that the west is supporting the north because Gej is not competent? No! Rather they are considering their own interest first. The west knows that the will be the next to rule via osibanjo if Gmb wins the upcoming election and exhaust his tenure. The west knowing fully well that gej will like to sponsor an igbo presidency after his tenure, the played the wise card by backing Gmb. So, bros pls, this is not about enthnicity it is about politics. Besides to me Gej has not failed Nigeria it is just that some people are hell bent on making his administration bad.
Nobody is hell bent on making his administration bad.... Jonathan's failure started when he removed fuel subsidy. So many Nigerians were shocked dat very day. Even the igbos who travelled during dat festive period were very bittered because of d hike in transport fare.

Vote out PDP in Abia State

If you all know history properly.. When Buhari was in power .. No Christian got any government job he /she applied for.. If this is what you all want vote him in.. I didn't say that you should vote GEJ.. There are 9 other parties for crying out loud.. Have you ever asked yourself why Buhari was overthrown in a bloodless coup.. Vote GMB and End The Boko Haram Crisis But The Consequences would be far greater than Boko Haram...

OP i guess u don't knw d problem of abia state or u're oti campainer, i'm frm Isi-alangwa North, d problem of abia is dat of sectionalism n nt party, an Ngwa man shuld b given a chance 2 rule abia n repair ABA, cos d state revenue comes solely frm ngwa clan. Ochendo came n divertd all resources 2wards constructn of ibeku n umuahia, so do nt in anyway try 2 rub us of our chance of rulership unda d guise of partisan politics.
