BOSSLADY ,sorry IOM you meant. i understand they only issue one way ticket for immigrants.

Only one-way? Ehn ehn? Have you confirmed that?

Ehn if that's correct, why don't you do the one-way with IOM, and buy a one-way ticket from Aus to Naija?

I know someone who did, and was discounted almost 500k on his tickets for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. I have emailed them also, as I'm not sure of 489ers qualify.

Yhellooooo folks. good to be back on naira land. I was here some months back learnt a lot from peoples experience i must say and today am in Aussie. had a few issue settling down initially but with the help of some Nigerian friends I met, it became seamless. so its my turn to help others. For those of you coming to western Australia and especially Perth region, we are organising a reception for you guys. A dinner and an outing to see Perth's beautiful scenery. we may be able to arrange an airport pickup if you already have an accommodation sorted out. its a lovely country, forget about all the difficult stories you read on NL, since you've been able to overcome naija wahala, then this is nothing. but come prepared to work shaaa ooo. kindly send me a mail (mailemmanite@ymail.com) to help us plan better. wish you all safe trip

My brother i am interested in networking with you. I am looking forward to landing in Perth. I would like to know the best and cheapest way to secure temporal accommodation for a family of 4. What is the approximate cost. I have sent you a mail.

you did mention how much you learnt on the forum and added you are here to give back. Why do you wana give back off forum? I'm just saying a lot will be learnt and a lot more people would benefit if you keep the info here.
Just saying tho, no offense offered.

Which holiday break abeg bossladymo !! Uploaded most of my stuff already. Does my 2 months start counting from the lodgement date? Also, assuming a co visits one's profile and don't have all the uploads, he'd prolly request right?

bossladyMo:

No need to certify anything...just upload coloured originals. Same with transcript and reference letter.

To upload payslips, click on evidence of work experience again, then select payslips...then attach.

Tobhave a direct grant within 60-90days, get your health exams sorted and upload all required documentation. Before the holiday break, DIBP were on point..mwith people getting grants or CO in exactly 2 months from application.

Wow that's cool to import food products into Australia from what I hear is very expensive because you will have to get a certificate and register your food products and also it must have an expiring date met a guy who was supposed to import Palm wine but couldn't because of the rigorous process...

I think you guys got him wrong. He meant for those that want the airport pickup, and city tour...so it fmdoes not derail the thread.
