A man brought his niece from Nigeria to UK. When she arrived he was telling her of how one can use her passport to bring her sister that looks like her as a joke. Few days later her passport got missing. she went to him and he said he took it to keep it safe for her. Few months later, the same passport got missing again and this time he said he didn't take it. She went to report to their local church pastor that she was sure he was the one that took it because he mentioned jokingly that one could use her passport to bring her sister that looks like her and the first time he was the one that took it. Her uncle put a curse on her that she will never succeed in life. Till today she has not finished her studies she started over 12 years ago that was supposed to last only 4 years, she is over 30 years unmarried, not even a boyfriend , no one wants to associate with her, she is like a vagabond, nothing she laid her hands on ever prospers.
This is real karma. Never bite the fingers that fed you

I used to come tops in secondary school. One for some flimsy reason,I got into an exchange of words with a boy who used to be at the bottom of the class. I made fun of him, called him olodo and insulted him for being dull. At the end of the term I went from top of the class to I think 17th position,I cried ehn, what made it worse was that the boy was 5th in class. I couldn't show my report card to my parents, when I eventually did,I lied that it was a student who did the recording of grades and that there had been a mistake sad

If it does happen, politicians, rapists and murderers would not be having a field day at the expense of the innocents.

Though I admit Karma exists, but it doesn't catch up with everybody. And I believe its because God is merciful.

I believe in karma. I think it's God's way of bringing us back to our senses.
If you do smth wrong and you see the karma quick enough, lucky you. A father would only rebuke the child he loves and does not want to perish.

As for those we feel should be serving serious punishment but are walking around freely, all I have to say is the devil has a way of keeping one from realizing he or she is heading for destruction until it's too late and to deceive others into destruction.

I also believe God keep sparing them because he wants them to repent of their unruly behavior.

I greatly believe in Karma... During my 300 level in the uni,I had a friend in 400 level who couldn't graduate because he had carry-overs.He asked me to help him sit for 5 of his failed courses at 6.5k per course.I agreed and he paid up front but I had decided to sit for just 2 only and leave 3 al beit collecting money for 5.This friend of mine didn't graduate because of those courses I didnt write(I told him I sat for them and gave him the excuse of missing scripts on those 3 I didnt write). He passed the 2 I wrote. Now,when I got into 400 level,1st semester brought hell upon me and I had 2 carry-overs which I couldn't explain how.2nd semester 400 level another 2 carry-overs...then it dawned on me that what ever goes around comes back around.I paid a complete session fees like a newly admitted student to sit for those 4 courses.I've graduated and I've served.....my friend is in the UK now.Pls Karma does exist and she pays back with extra coins.

I believe karma die.

November 7th 2000, I got to Ojota to board a bus to Enugu so as to pay my Acceptance fee in UNN where i had just gained admiss

I had plenty cash on me(popsy was happy this sturborn son finally gained admission and so dropped pepper wella grin).

One guy walked up to me and asked for 200naira, dat was small cash, but i did not give him. he looked like he just misplaced his wallet that early morning from the shock on his face, but i no still give am(stingy me).

To cut the story short, exactly 2weeks after that incidence, i begged for 200naira on the other side of the pedestrian bridge at ojota(just opposite where that guy begged me).I had spent all my cash in UNN cos i stayed back to enjoy school environment after paying the acceptance fee, so i had just my transport from Enugu to Lag and had to beg for transport from Ojota to my house.

2004.......Close to final year, UNN asked us to go get our original SSCE Result. i schooled far away in a boarding school, so popsy gave me 20k for transport, accomodation and any other expense...story, i use am buy timberland boot and plenty baggy jeans when i discovered UNN dint take the issue seriously.
2007, After my interview with my first Job in the Bank, H.R was going through our certificates and i was told to go get the original of my SSCE, i left for that distant town immediately, came back two days later with the result, by then they had cleared those who dint have issues. Alongside other guys with issues, i was told to wait for the next batch of training. i waited 6 Months cos of 20k i spent in 2004 and as a result missed a salary of 150k * 6months...900k in 2007 angry

I nearly krase. grin grin
lmao! Your tori sweet pass somtn wey I no wan mention. Fascinating story and also sounds very real. I dey always dey stingy with likes for Nairaland but ur Tori turn me to like philanthropist

whatever name given to it, it's still the same thing.

Kar what? Abeg there's nothing lyk karma.Karma exist in d mind of pple who believe in it.if karma is real, then it has contradict d world of God.their will b no need for God's judgment, cause we must have payed back each sin we committed through karma.

It doesn't contradict the word of God per se !

though it isn't called or described as karma but even the bible says, as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not cease !

Meaning we will always reap what we sow!

I remember a story a man of God told us while growing up on why we should mind the extent to which we involve ourselves in people's relationships. He said he once advised a woman who was abuse to move out of her husband's house and one day, his wife moved out on no grounds and that was when God told him that no man is given the authority to separate couples. I think this is Karma too.

Rubbish being told by religious folks. I have witnessed the spousal murder of one of my close friends and that has changed my perspective , if anybody is in danger in marriage - leave!

There is a popular case in old ImO state years ago.a man was killed and his flesh was used to make dried meat sold in a showcase.the defense lawyer succesfully argued to the shock of the town that recovered hand of the murdered man was a monkey's hand and that the meat was bush meat. The killer went free. That lawyer died in a ghastly motor accident shortly after.

Dont we all know bosses and supervisors who wrecked havoc , ended peoples careers and caused gnashing of teeth disgraced out of the job in more humiliating ways?
i won't call this karma, people die in motor accidents everyday, does it mean that all those people are bad people?

To you it is rubbish, to them it is not because they will be the ones to give account of their stewardship and not you so you either accept their beliefs or not. This said, I do not support violence but I am not going to tell an abused spouse what to do as I believe as adults, s/he knows what decision to take. More so, I wasn't there when the partners agreed to marry one another so why will I be the one to tell them what to do?
