I have said this before and I will say it again. Enough is Enough, the INC and IYC have been too soft for my liking. This cows and rams think because we decided to lie low for peace to reign they think we are fools. Whoever that judge is deserves to be used as a scape goat. He should be flogged mercilessly on NTA news. Is high time we hold another meeting and give buhari our Conditions , if he refuses , we reduce oil production by 80% . Any he-diot that quotes and insulsts me, make thunder fire your yanch, ya papa

But why build FPS0 parts or modules in lagos and later move them to bayelsa.??...are we mad in this country?...

My Ijaw brothers I espouse this move...lets get the oil and gas jobs back... angry

Well better no investment in nigeria as a whole but any new investment in the oil and gas industry of nigeria outside of the ND is at major and verifiable risk when the time comes to position it or use it in the ND SIMPLICITA.
THE WAYO DON DO.SAY WE NO TALK NO MEAN SAY WE BE MUGU.NO BE SAY WE NO GO SCHOOL NO BE SAY WE NO NO BOOK.

THAT REFINERY IF IT GETS BUILT IN LAGOS HAD BETTER BUY CRUDE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET OUTSIDE OF THE NIGER DELTA.EXCEPT THEY HIT CRUDE IN LAGOS THEN GOOD FOR THEM.

If the fools had left it in ondo as originally conceived we would not have said a word ,but in keeping with their sense of entitlement they sabotaged that and diverted it to lagos.
We are waiting......
who sabotaged d project in ondo and diverted it 2 lagos?
Re: Oil Platform Fabrication: Ijaw Youths Draw Battle Line by Sibrah: 7:41am On May 18, 2015
Most of the oil related businesses that started out in the ND relocated key offices and units to Lagos and I believe they did for a reason. So what's the shout and threat about? Ijaw this Ijaw that, like Iron ore from Kogi wasn't transported to Delta state in the past for processing.

@the bold, don't you think it's also Mr Jadesinmi's prerogative to site his investment in an environment where he feels it's safe and better for his operations? remember he's a private citizen and the FG didn't give him a dime to establish it.

before LADOL was set up, Oil companies used to send these projects outside Nigeria. Is Lagos not closer to you in the ND than taking the project to say a place like Aberdeen or Florence? What i expected GEJ to do is encourage the young ND guys he's empowered financially to set up something similar in bayelsa then get the oil majors to give them some of the contracts that emanate from the industry from time to time. I'll be very surprised if no ND youth works at LADOL which is 1000 times better than the Asari example i used.

Not asking a man to move his life's work at a whim just to tell your people you remember them when he was on sleeping and dulling mood for the 5 years of his presidency.

Asari like a lot of other Nigerians have businesses abroad like you said which is why we shouldn't frustrate a Nigerian who sites his investment in Nigeria even if it's not in the ND

Thanks for your civility by the way wink
Your welcome.
The voice, if you had gone through my first post you will see where my argument was based on, to me am not holding mr jade back from deciding on where to site his project.

Don't divert from my main view which is there in my first post, where mr Omare said that from" henceforth any oil company that wish to continue exploring from the Niger delta have to establish in that region" which I see as the bone of contention and also the best for the region .

GEJ decides to force a PRIVATE project conceived in 2003 to bayelsa 2 weeks to the end of his tenure and you want the promoters to keep quiet? was he on Valium 5 overdose for the past 5 years of his kindergarten presidency? (apologies to Prof David-West)

why didn't he do it earlier? why the last minute desperation? to show his people he didn't forget them? To buy himself a hero's welcome?

[/b]fantastic and excellent question which even me a gej supporter can't answer. this is one point that will always haunt gej . Anytime gej opponents make this point,no matter fanatical u are about supporting gej ,u just have let down ur guard , because this reason cannot be faulted . Everything gej was accused of not doing in 6years ,he almost within 8 weeks completed it . The million dollar sensible question then is “why did he have to wait soo long to do the right thing?”.

Of course, why not?? what's the big deal about buying oil from outside to refine?? what is the big deal? are we alien to importation? even Oshiomhole had to import a wife as recently as last friday cool so why can't Dangote import the crude his refinery needs?

after all we've been using imported fuel to run Nigeria for plenty years now and even getting defrauded by the gej government created cabal in the process so why can't we get a step further by importing the crude to refine here?

Dangote refinery will even buy the crude off the militants that steal it everyday....400,000 barrels of stolen crude will be enough to feed the plant.

GEJ decides to force a PRIVATE project conceived in 2003 to bayelsa 2 weeks to the end of his tenure and you want the promoters to keep quiet? was he on Valium 5 overdose for the past 5 years of his kindergarten presidency? (apologies to Prof David-West)

how can you turn the truth up side down. .....GEJ was right in his decision. ........

now everyone is wise ........If you think you can intimate the ND ....it's not longer possible again enough is enough. ...

Now that the picture is clearer that it is a private project and can be sited anywhere.i have no issues with that.

In fairness, the NNPC, the Niger delta Ministry and the HQs of oil majors should be in the Niger delta region. If they lived as well as operated from the region, that private investor would also have invested in Niger delta instead of Lagos.

The Nigerian govt should be fair to all sections of the country..Buhari should know that he wasnt voted by the SS and should appeal to us by correcting some injustices and see how he becomes our darling else we shall resent this govt in words and in deeds.

Your reply is well reasonable. The other guys just make misguided empty threats. Only common sense is needed to reach a common ground. Violence has never won anywhere before.

This reaction gives legitimacy to opposing grounds who see increasing terrorism and new threats from Lower Niger as a real risk against new investments.

The IYC is absolutely right to demand for the works to be moved to the Delta. Machinery for use in Lagos are not fabricated in Portharcourt. To develop the region there must be sustained affirmative action but anyway we don't need anymore investment in oil and gas more than a heroin addict needs more investment in new poppy fields. Lagos should encourage and attract investments in other industries. Enough big oil. Get off the addiction now.

May the God Almighty send and stand his Angels behind the youths. Right from time the Niger Delta people have being subjected to the third class position. Look all the Big Banks as well as the companies etc have all the HEAD QURATERs located in Lagos. With that when ever there is employment, the Yorubas, before you know it, will send their poeple, thereby leaving the positions of cleaner to the locals. Why? My sincere advise to you is that you people should stand firm, now that Buhari is on. Do not ever play the third class role. Tufia. I will be back with a detailed explaination of what you are expected to do.

The first lawful act the government should do is to return the headquarters of all oil production companies to niger delta same way obasanjo relocated the NBA and NBA now NIMASA to Lagos from Abuja. Otherwise the new government is just fooling itself
Are oil companies govt agencies or private investments?

It is an irony that Niger Delta is not demanding that all the vehicles and equipment used for oil exploitation in the region be manufactured in Niger Delta. I'm of the opinion that if you create enabling business environment in your region, individuals and companies will invest there. It shouldn't be done through threats and by fiat.
