The first charge should be about modelling a viable and enviable eastern region. That should be the rallying 'point'.

Independent state of Biafra would not automatically guarantee you prosperity. We would still be dealing with these same unrepentantly reckless and parasitic politicians.

Look at Southern Sudan shocked

Nigerian government need to correct all inequalities leading to this talk of sessation flying in Nigeria now. If they fail to do so, Then Nigeria go enter wahala tomorrow, sooner or later.

The Nigerian government cannot correct all inequalities in the Nigerian Federation now. It will take time that is if it is even possible for the Government to do it. The Nigerian problem is structural, cultural and social. There is injustice in every facet of the society to all sections. There is injustice between social classes with one set of laws for the rich and another for the poor. There is injustice within all political units, with lagos with a population of 20millions having about 20 local governments while states in the north with less than 5 million have over 30. There is injustice in the sharing formula of our oil rents.

It is we the people that can correct these inequalities, you and me. The ordinary Hausa, igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, masses, who benefit nothing from the Nigerian state. The politicians are only interested in having more share of the National cake, hence their interests are more states, local governments and federal character in appointments. The 36 state structure is too inefficient, wasteful and unsustainable. Imagine Awo running the whole western region on one government structure with very few commissioners, now the same political unit has been devided into 6 units with each unit have political, legislative and judicial structures, and you wonder why they can't pay salaries. where will they get the money for developmental initiatives like education, power and infrastructure. It is beyond madness that people are clamouring for more states.

Another thread about Radio biafra ends up becoming "WE SS, I AM SS, SS hates IGBOS" dumping ground. grin grin grin Please people deal with the topic and leave your Niger delta tribe boogieman alone. Tell your government to stop the Radio station if they can. My hope is to see more Radio stations like this spread across the villages and towns of the Niger delta. Radio stations broadcasting in our tribal languages.

We lived through 3 years of some of the most hateful media assault against Niger deltan tribes and Igbos in this country. Between 2012-2015, where was NBC, when Punch, leadership newspaper, Sahara reporters, Premium times, Osun Defenders were doing their daily and weekly tribal bashing in the name of Journalism. Most of you were not worried then?

You don't like Radio biafra, please start your own. I support freedom of information, nothing is more important than information, let's do everything possible, to keep Radio stations, like Radio Biafra alive.

Don't quote me, if you have nothing to say.

^^^^ Becos u aint the only Rivers man on this platform, may i remind u that u have a collection of village sanguines u refer to as elders? Now, talking about stealing crude oil from Rivers people, are u still believing in the same old stories they told our intellectually lazy fathers and grandfathers during the civil war?

In a situation whereby u can't point to one Rivers man who owns an oil well, while u have countless number of Hausas irrespective of the fact that they dont have single drop of oil in their region, does it not amount to stealing of crude oil @ your backyard? If u can't rebuke a Hausa man for stealing ur crude oil, why wud u do so to an igbo man?

besides, the igbo man produces crude oil in about 2 states, he's not a leech to us. U shud as a matter of fact start thinking like a 21st century being. Becos u are thinking like ur so called senseless elders, u just dont make a difference now. Btw the way, i'm a Rivers man.

There are a number of Rivers men that own oil wells. Ever heard of Moni Pulo owned by High Chief O. B Lulu-Briggs? Also check the name Odoliyi Lolomari. He owns a few oil wells and he is Kalabari from Rivers State.

Educate yourself.

Hihihihohohihi! Our oyel. An igbo man doesn't need your oil to thrive in life. If you doubt me look around you. I may not agree with the messages radio biafria is putting out there but are you guys better off now? Are your lands not polluted with oil spillages? Is it the igbos that is polluting your lands? Is your precious oil not stollen daily without anything to do about it? Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. Whoever fed you guys that crap of coming to steal your oil just lied to you all and you lot couldn't even use your heads to annalize happenings around you. We don't need your oil dear, we just want to be free from this forced amalgamation, simple!

Almighty God, I pray the Igbo are allowed to get the Biafra they deserve without any further delay. undecided

Anyone who tries to stop them will be infested with a thousand flies. angry

Let them go, biko. Na by force?? Nobody should persuade them to change their minds, oh! At least, we will know those who are left and willing to make Nigeria work.

We know that within one month after they get their independence, they will still come back lobbying and begging for entry visas to get back into Nigeria as most of their shops, houses and businesses are located in different parts of Nigeria. At that time, everyone will know who is who.

Even till now, they are unable to stay still in one place which is why you find them in strange countries (even those with unpronounceable names), sad

Biafra is a shadow that ll always hunt Nigeria down for the injustices they meted on Us. U cannot beat a child n tell him not to cry.its never done. After 45 yrs of civil war, what has Nigeria state done to appease Biafrans? Nothing but treating them like an outcasts n second class citizens in their own country. America waged war against East America, since after the war East America has produced 6 American president to show a genuine move to integrate n appease Eastern Americans. What has d Igbos received from Nigeria as a measure to appease, integrate and give them a sense of belonging in Nigeria project?
Only Dullards laced with venomous tribal hate instilled in them by their fathers ll attack me for utterly this bitter truth.

Biafra must survive like Israelites survived from d cruel hands of Pharoah

Please am begging you, don't come back to Nigeria asking for an entry visa once you finally get your country, oh! Make sure you excavate your houses, investments, structures etc, in different parts of Nigeria as you go along..... so that there will be no need for you to come back.

Just do it. Thanks in advance.

I am a true rivers man, but the truth is that successive nigerian govt, with the exception of gej govt, have treated the igbos badly. If I may ask, what stops the nigerian govt from giving the Igbos an additional state to pacify them
Which region have they treated fairly. The leadership problem in Nigeria affects all and sundry
We should all put our efforts together to ensure good leadership at all levels of governance.

The SS have already seen that the only people who have their backs in the whole Nigeria are igbos.

The SS also have discovered that their problem in Nigeria is not igbos, unlike what they were meant to believe in d past.

The SS now know that it is the north n SW that are sucking their oil.

The SS want a way out of Nigeria already.

The SS now know that they cannot separate alone, They need the igbos.

The SS are ready to align with igbos to leave Nigeria.

Some people from SS should get it into their thick skull that we don't need their oil... Igbos have oil as well and igbos can ignore oil n use industrialization and commerce to power themselves to any height.

I ask again. Is it by force

You really do not know your history. England and Scotland were at war with each other for hundreds of years before they were unified. They became one country not through the will of their own people but through the Act of 1707. If England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Island were able to come together as a nation stronger than when they were apart with different cultures and languages, why can't we?

I am in support of one Nigeria but if Igbos really would like to leave Nigeria, I urge them to do it peacefully. War is not a joke.
