That is the correct email, when is your enrollment deadline because right now from people that requested for visa appointment recently the embassy replied that the next available date for student visa interview is 30th October, 2015.

That's correct. But you can also try rk-visa201@lago.diplo.de. In my own case i sent my email to the 2 email addresses. I tried one first and i didn't get a response from the embassy for some days. I tried the other one and i got a response within 24 hours. Unfortunately, i didn't know which of the emails they responded to because their response came from a different email entirely, i.e. noreply@diplo.de. Good luck bro.

Bros relax and take some chill pill..its barely 24 hrs away from Monday then you can go to the German Consulate and explain all these to them...also do not forget to go with your consitution statin your rights as Germans love to see proof .

In ur first post you stated that you contacted them telling them you enrollment has passed without attachin proof of enrollment extension.I suppose you know what that means..also tuition is free here, if for some reason best known to you, you decide to part with 9000 quids for any course in Germany ...thats your decision and yOu wont be treated prefentially.

Do not use the word "us" pls..if u feel treated less there is nothin anyone can do abt it my broda..durin my interview I was offered a seat...well that was 2014..

Also remember to tell them how you respect them and how you feel treated less..if possible put it in writting.also inform them about how your 9000 euros tuition fee and 8000 blocked account will contribute to their ecomony too.

The processing time for student visa is 6-8weeks depending on individual case ..maybe you skipped that part.wheb next you decide to apply for a visa read the processin time..some embassy (UK consulate here) stipulates that you apply 2mths to 3mths before travel date to allow for processing even if most times the processing time is less.

My advise to applicants still stand.. if its within this period(max. 8weeks)..do not disturb the embassy with mail or calls.. allow them do their job and do not come across as a desperate chap.

Peace pple

Goodluck with your explanation tomorrow...I'd advise you put all those points in writing and submit to them.if you dont care abt it...dont appeal....simples

Unfortunately, I support you on this even though he has a kind of point. And his ranting here wouldn't solve anything..I would be very glad if he can summon up the courage and say or send via email all the stuff he posted here... Though in a way, the Germans are kinda lenient. It says 6 to 8 weeks on the website yet they grant some visas in less than two weeks. Most countries won't even grant visa or listen to any inquiry you send until the expiration of this period. Who are we to blame for them favouring one and not favouring another?
Well it is a well known fact that most embassies in Nigeria treat Nigerians as shit, meanwhile when you visit the same country's embassy in another country, they treat you with respect. Moral of the Story is that, once you can just first leave the country, things will become very easy for you.

PS: I wonder why our Government are just being quiet about the ill treatment meted upon its citizens by these aliens. Well I guess they be like, who send them? Where are they going? Won't they sit back and continue suffering?

I've tried to PM @Harpy and Obiwanne but seems the pm link is hitting back. Please guys how can I contact you for an enquiry? Or can you please drop your mails to reach you? Thanks guys.

Mr/Miss Hisvoice,

Kindly ask your question here. You just said it yourself that you are impressed with how Harpy and Obiwann answer questions here. If they have been answering these questions thru PM, will you or any other person be able to benefit from their responses? No.

So ask your question here

Bros nawa o. To say someone is ranting is kind of derogatory, you know? Let’s try to respect ourselves on here even though we are on a faceless forum. At least if the Germans at the embassy don’t respect us, we should respect ourselves. I wouldn’t say that to you, no matter what.

Well, I am not complaining to anybody on here. I was just expressing my feelings. I have channeled my complaints to the proper avenue. After my interview, i wrote a letter to the SGF, The Senate, The House of Rep and the NHRC to look into the ways Nigerians are being treated at the German embassy, and i cited my own experience as a reference. It started from the very beginning - I applied for my student visa interview on July 16th, 2015, and my interview was fixed for August 31st, 2015. That’s 6 weeks interval! Even when my October 1st, 2015 resumption date is clearly written on my admission letters and official letter of acceptance that i used to apply for the said interview. So the period left between my interview date and my resumption date is just 4 weeks. How would you feel about that? Or how would you feel about arriving at the embassy at 7:45am for your 8 O’ clock interview and the man at the gate tells you that you are late! That you ought to have arrived 30 minutes earlier. C’mon, my interview is 8 O’clock, not 7:30. And people around you tells you to beg the man, a Nigerian like you, a Nigerian who should understand the traffic situation in Lagos. Now you get into the embassy and you are made to stand for over 30 minutes while the interviewer sits her ass down. How would you feel about all that? Considering the fact that you are the reason why the interview is being conducted and you are the one who paid for the interview. Did i mention that you only speak with your interviewer through the telecoms, via a glass wall, like you are plagued with some disease or something, and now look at what is happening? The issue of resumption date blah blah - If i had been given a nearer date for my interview will this be happening? Certainly not.

Bro. I am not just ranting. And I am not complaining to anybody on here. And I am not asking to be treated preferentially as Cindino20 said. I am only asking to be treated right. Which is not too much to ask. He made a fuss about my 9000Euros tuition fee, like that is the issue here. Well, the 9000 Euros will be sitting in my bank account if i had gotten a University in Germany who can offer my course for free, and i would have been glad. In the US my course costs over 40,000usd, so you see in a way, i have also benefited from the Germany Educational Policy. And I will be forever grateful.

I hope the Government do something about my complaints… If they do, then people coming behind us will be treated fairly enough and I will be glad wherever I am. It has happened several times before. It can happen again. When the UK embassy introduced the 3,000 GBP Deposit before you are granted visiting visa, we kicked against it, and the Government acted upon it and the UK Embassy dropped the idea for Nigerians. They also introduced the policy for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and some other countries that i can remember now. I don’t know how they solved their own problem.

We don’t just sit down, fold our hands and watch. We put our feet down and take action. Have you ever asked yourself why we live in this mess? I have, severally…. and the answer that keeps coming to my mind is that had our parents, the generations before us, done things differently, we wouldn’t be treated like this, we wouldn’t be living like this. So if we do things differently now, and frown at any ill treatment meted on us by anyone, then the next generation wouldn’t suffer what we are suffering.

Ah, and by the way, the embassy sent me another email this morning saying that I will be contacted by them within the next few days. Which was quite different from their last email that I should come to the embassy with my passport. So I’m just going to wait this out and see how it ends. Or what do you think? Please house, i need all of your input here.

Hello! I know how you feel....this process can frustrate, confuse, intimidate, whatever you wanna call it. Then after your interview, your heart will race from one suspicion of failure to the other. However, you see, they are just doing their job, I think I have been meted far worse treatments by our own government organizations. Just relax bro. I knew your message was misinterpreted given that the person reading your message then may not be so good with the language. I knew you would get off the hook easily.
You just have to be calm and try prayers instead. I'm in my 15th week today from the day of my interview, I booked for my interview may 1st or thereabout and initiated my payment in the first week of September. You see you are not in the worst situation.

Everything will end a success, let that be your faith, the complaints can come later after the goals of your application is achieved.

Baba you ve nt handle this situation well....I tell you something, Sometimes we re faced with tough situations as young pple...our approach to things at that moment becomes the deciding factor.

I really dont know if things have changed but during my time you have to get to the embassy early..even if your interview is scheduled for 8am because you ve to been cleared and your documents checked..so you have to be there by7am or so, some persons get there by 5am man so you ve no case, by 7:45 you were late already so dont even go there claiming any right.

This thread has recorded abt 90% success rate ..Germany student visa is as easy as a,b,c ..get admitted, fund accoun,t go for interview, swallow some chill pills (waiting period) and boom visa ..If truely you wrote a letter to the UNHRC immediately after your interview that again is a no brainer bro..is this crack gettin to me or I find your story funny ..Like srxly you wrote a letter to the UNHCR,the Nigerian National assembly to complain poor treatment in a consulate for lateness abi dem nor gv u chair to sitdown..I guess your interviewer was nt sitting down too if you had to stand to do your interview...why nt politely ask for a seat there and then like pls can I get a sit or something...I m nt comfortable pls I need to sit my ass down ..you didnt..you went home to write a letter to UNHCR shocked..so when next you decide to write a letter complain abt hw our education sector is in rot hence the need for the exodus.

You see Eke07..that guy there advising you, I ve great respect for him you know why? is the way he keep his cool,IF i remember correctly last yr something went wrong with his sponsorship letter at the 11th hr..he didnt budge..he kept his cool and was encourgaing others..this year he has done his interview for over 2 mths and even when he had issues with his blocked account he kept his cool and till date he is still encouraging others ...thats the spirit of a successor..you dont achieve great things by playin the victims card..NEVER!

@everyone here, apologies, No alterior motive for requesting the e-mail address of these two guys. I know all questions are directed to the thread but observed that further enquiry and assistance may require an extension outside here. Nevertheless, I will like anyone to assist answer these questions.

Had a Bachelor degree cgpa 3.6/5.00, Msc points 62/100 of 60point Phd grade. No TOEFL or GRE yet. I want to pursue a Phd in health sciences majorly in infectious diseases and Immunology/Biomedical science in a Germany university. I will like to ask that

What should guide my choice of institution apart from the course?
From your experience, how much overview budget of Naira equivalence should I be working towards? and is it true one can get funding assistance after admmision? Possible schools.
Is it compulsory I write toefl/gre/ielt before admission?

Honest and candid response will be appreciated here. Danke!

A genuine seeker of visa shld be granted without much waste of time. However, i suggest we keep out calm and leave matter for mathias while the good news is recieved.. a time of waiting is a sober time of quietness. God will answer our prayers.

@Hampy,

Bros to be honest I would ve loved to ignore you but like the sayin goes,,na person friend dey tell am say e mouth dey smell...

I hope your visa is granted in due time my broda but do us all some good by leaving some of these ***** at M.M intl airport in lagos..

all the best Man

@Cindino20, Hampy & Eke40seven... In my opinion, i think we should look at this issue NOT in the angle of who is right or wrong but different approach to varying issues that could Improve the situation. It's like having Mr A saying 10= 1+2+3+4 (the somewhat cool & patient one) and another Mr B saying 10= 5+5 (no time or room for nonsense).

I remembered few years back when Ashiru or so was the min of affairs that he had to stand up to complains of the people that Canadian embassy delays & hold passport for more months in the name of visa processing! It was kind of reversed just like the case of UK stuff quoted by Hampy. It shows that sometimes when we keep quiet on certain situations it could remain like that or even get worse later!

However @Hampy (Aluta brother smiley) taking it that far seemed quite overdoing, not casting blame though. Like you've rightly channeled it to the embassy you should have left it that level. I think German embassy is about the most hospitable among the 'popular' embassies in Nigeria & by my experience better in terms of their services, process & procedure. Like in every processes you've got INPUT - PROCESSING - OUTPUT - FEEDBACK - INPUT & the cycle goes on. The essence of the feedback is to help the processing & resultant output. In otherwords, your complain should be seen more as feedback that would help others coming behind get better treatment (as you intend to). If the feedback is not properly communicated, it can damage or distort the processing (just like what Cindino20 & Eke40seven are trying to point out).

In all, I pray we all get our dreams come true by God's grace. Let's allow this one love to continue here by understanding the perspectives & temperament of individual at play. I know how frustrating some newbies could be, but i think using 'spoonfeeding' at first enquiry isn't polite. Instead a link to that page can be given to help such a fellow. Let's bear ourselves which is one unique thing this forum has different from others.

May there be great testimonies of visa approval this week in Jesus name & successes in interviews as well.

Alles gute!

Hello guys. Been a long while I since I last dropped a message. I arrived in Munich two days ago and visited the Oktoberfest! It is simply a gathering of many drunk people dancing, vomiting, sometimes giving head grin .

However I am back fully on this thread and can respond to any inquiries just like the other Ogas here.

Have a nice Sunday!
welcome back bro, good to have you here again!!

My enrolment deadline is next week and visa never show. Is it wise that i seek for an extension to enrolment deadline yet? if yes? Is the advice here to send the notification of extension to the embassy?? Thanks
