But that was how they helped sensationalized and burnished his image to get elected too.
Who did u just say the media helped? Anyway, if by media u included some trivialized newspapers and some prejudiced broadcasting channels, then I would beg not to acquiesce. buhari's campaign was diversified publicly and spans across leaflets, twitter, billboards, grass-roots campaign, boosted by the hate speeches of GEJ's minions and the readiness of the larger populace who got tired of GEJ's ineptitude to vote change.

If we want this country to move forward we should all stop this defence mechanism and call a spade a spade. Jonathan want to grand this country but will thank God

The letter from.NOI was addressed to GEJ.
Dasuki stated that he acted in connivance with GEJ.

It is understandable when people that got billions are defending GEJ to protect their loot. But it is shameful when folks hoping on.N5k handout from the government start defending GEJ as well.

I wish Buhari would tighten the noose more because some Nigerians deserve the hardship that come their way. I used to be sympathetic to the plight of Nigerians when they complain about hardship. Not anymore.

It is quite unbelievable that the former President is being blamed for an action that occurred at the tactical level. For the avoidance of doubt, arms are issued to soldiers at the tactical level and the President operates at the grand strategic level of war. At that level, he is concerned with coordinating the instrument of national power towards attaining national objectives. Decisions concerning the amount of bullets given to troops are within the purview of the battalion commander who operates at the tactical level. One can not even blame a GOC about the amount of bullets given to troops talk less of the President. For instance if you are the CEO of KONGA, you are concerned with the policy direction of your company at the strategic level. If you are faced with a challenge lets say a debt being owed by an uncooperative customer, you decide whether you would negotiate (diplomatic instrument), sanction dealings with him (economic instrument) or engage a debt collector (military instrument). You are not the one to tell the debt collector how to go about his business as those options are best left to him.
Are you saying if you have a farm and you need to equip it with tractors, you will just pay and not check if they are supplied or not? The ceo of koga will not just pay for supply he will have managers that will give him first class information about what are incurred. We are talking of a country and not a company that hundreds of lives are been wasted daily. Many of us youths are supporting those that have short changed our lives for their children to their fourth generation while we are here thinking of what to eat today.

Why not just set free his 'freedom fighters'?

So much hate speech from Mr president to ex-Mr president. I am still yet to understand why buhari hate jonathan so much.

You were crying for the ball in the hand of ur opponent and it has been given to you yet u blame ur inability to score goals on ur opponent who has even relax for u to score.

Come to think of it am wondering why Mr president is not fighting to probe those behind the sponsorship of bokoharam or does he think those sponsors do not exist?

That policy affects me and many more people more than you can imagine, but you don't see us lashing about blindly without understanding the cause of our economic woes.

If our surpluses from high oil prices were not wasted and the whole economy was not dollarized due to fiscal irresponsibility and financial recklessness, we would all be singing a different tune today.

the oil belongs to the Niger delta don't you get it..stay clear off it..Buhari should go and mine and use monies generated from there to save nigeria...nonsense. .If Jonathan had saved this and that...Buhari rushed to be president thinking oil would be such a sweet resource for him to sit on just as his northern colleagues have done for long...now is the time we would know where this freaking nation is heading to without much monies from oil.. angry....

The old man should get to work..

The ammunitions used by the military presently who procured them..This present administration or the previous administration....... angry

Your question is baseless because I have told you that the cache of arms which are currently in the army's inventory are clearly sufficient to defeat Boko Haram now that the financiers and sponsors are out of government and behind bars.

It's no news that Dasuki was sending his men to escort trailers of arms across the border, purportedly to supply BH in order to justify the continued spending and looting through the phantom war on terror.

The guy you are attacking, by his pronouncements, is an astute project manager even in his small domain. Experience. The dullard you are defending should take charge and stop quarelling with his tools like a lazy man. He is actually. No seasoned project manager keeps blaming his budget. He knew about the low budget yet took the job didn't he? So He should understand the concept of workaround to produce result to time, cost and quality. Even with a low budget. But I know the Daura President finds such concepts impossible to wrap his mind around. Pity! Here's your "change", enjoy it! cool

so u are saying dasuki distributed, $2.1bill in dollars, not naira, I don't know where u got ur information from.

u seem to forget that apc and also pdp distributed dollars before, during and after elections, especially at the primaries. don't that also affect our economy.

according to you the dollarisation of our economy during party primaries did not affect our economy but the $2.1bill did, which there is no proof that dasuki distributed that money in dollars.

my question was spot on how can apc foolishly claim that the $2.1 bill in a $500 bill economy is what has destroyed our economy in few months.

like I have said some states revenue and budget are more than that sum, but apc said it destroyed our economy. the money is huge but it can never be the reason for our bad economic state, this govt needs to wake up to their responsibilities

Nigerians should wake up.
