Happy new year house. This year go better o with less issues. For me I started it with car issues as usual. My accord dc refused to accelerate this evening while driving. It cranks quite alright but with high rpm. When I step on gas pedal. It hesitate slightly but nothing happens. It shakes immediately you put on drive. I recently serviced the nozzle and plugs change but noticed car drags when I accelerate before the final show down. Would get them to fix tomorrow but what could be wrong so I can eliminate this issue. Thanks fam

Okay. I have resolved this issue, thought I should share. I replaced the accelerator pedal position sensor and that fixed the gas pedal non-responsiveness.

Issues like this are caused by either bad throttle body or rocker arm sensor.

Good morning everyone, please I need your advice. I want to get EOD 2004 EX and I am thinking of picking v6 because of engine power and small difference in fuel consumption when compared with i4 engine version (my research from car sites). I need advice on maintenance, parts cost, pros and cons please. Thank you

3 warnings, DRL day time warning lights, wiper washer fluid low, and check engine light. The check engine light is vague and a scanner will have to be used to to pull codes from the car.

Oga GAZZUZZ please help a brother. I drove my car all through last week without any issues, only to start the car on monday morning morning to go to work and discovered that when i step on the acceleration pedal, it doesn't even respond, also the car started to have this funny vibration. I tried to check what the issues could be online and discovered i could have a bad throttle sensor and a bad ignition coil(as the mechanic mentioned). I may need to call you to talk with you personally. Cheers.

Has anyone had this same experience? I just changed all four (4) tyres of my vehicle and noticed a major improvement in the cooling from the AC.

My conclusion was that the engine was doing more work moving the vehicle hence less resources channeled to the cooling system so with the vehicle now gliding, less work for the engine thus, more power to the AC. Am I correct?

in your case please don't go with recommended, just jejely use 20W50 mineral oil drain every 3-5k km(car is 1993 mileage would be over 200k) for transmission oil any good dextronIII will work or if you prefer the HONDA DW1 fluid that would also work.

Read before you reply and stop jumping to conclusions. You are not an authority in automotive technology.

If you had read properly you'll see I said "MY CONCLUSIONS..." I NEVER said they were related.

For your information I don't take alcoholic beverages like you. Thanks and learn to keep your arrogant, bossy opinions to yourself.

I see where you're coming from.

However, it is not the tyres that determine how well the a/c compressor pumps. It is the engine status.

Likewise, it is the engine that generates the power that produces torque delivered to your car's axle through the transmission. That is what determines the speed of your car.

Where new tyres contribute is better road grip, which translates to less slipping (better motion efficiency) & better fuel economy.
The other thing new tyres add is balance, and in some cases, less road noise.

Bad tyres won't make your engine do more than it can do, but they will cause slipping, which will invariably make you burn more fuel to cover less distance, compared to new/ good tyres.

Are you saying that if a car has over 200k miles they should stick to 20w-50?

The engine was designed in 1988 mineral oil 20W50 or semi-synthetic 15W50 is safer. Full synthetic 5W30 might cause more harm than good.
