You still don't get the point of if you are outstanding. It is all about your speciality. For exqmple, like i read in the papers about a young man un nigeria who has the talent of manufacturing drones, if that young man should go and study in the US, the americans would not want him to return to africa to bring development they will sponsor so they can use his talent for their comfort and national security. For that kind of person, they have a strong reason to tell the immigration why that man should be given GC. But a person with a degree in for example BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, what do you want them to tell the immigration as a reason to keep you? That they are not americans who have degrees in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION?? Sure they won't take that. That is why i said if you are outstanding and your speciality are rare, sure you will be sponsored.

Hahaha. In literature, there is something we call 'utopian vision of the future', your post explains it. cheesy How many people can build a drone?

Bro, do you know schools in Texas that waive TOEFL for msc in mech eng? Also, schools in same TX that will accept upload of unofficial GRE score report and transcript for application, and then have me send official copies after making an admission offer.

Only foreign-born non-U.S. citizens having green cards can enlist in the Marine Corps or the other three military service branches. Also, U.S. resident aliens desiring to enlist as Marines must be able to speak, write and read English fluently.

'A non-citizen can enlist in the military. However, federal law prohibits non-citizens from becoming commission or warrant officers"

You still don't understand the american state.

lols. This na ofe akwu o grin I thought everyone here talks about jobs for university graduates only. So, I wasnt talking about military enlistment shiit meant for an average American high school graduate. DOD jobs I'm referring to are those open to only graduates with degree in engineering and others e.g https://dod.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/429299000 Have you ever heard of civilian jobs in dod before? That's what I'm talking about.

You don't need to be in any military fatigue shiit to work with DoD as an engineer, scientist etc Such high ranked jobs are not open for everyone even those with GC, Mr.

And what do you mean by a knowledge of American state?

That's vocational studies, M1. Researching the school with google might be the only way to know about the school. Scope here is mainly for F1.

i bank with Chase and two credit unions
with chase its a flat fee of 40bucks depending on your bank just add the account as an external account under wire transfer and fill the details

Does the receiver gets charged at the other end using your bank? I got charged twice using USbank. One from US and the receiver got charged too as international transfer tax. I felt kind of awkward.

Hello guys. Got a question!

In the US from my findings tuition is charged based on credit hours (hpe I am correct). Like in some Mech Engr. programs the total credit hours be like 31- 34 credit load. Okay.

Is there a max or min credit load a student can take in a 1 semester. Or does it vary?

For example, on my Financial document tuition is calculated for 9hours.

On getting to my department could this credit load be higher.

Thanks

You can take min of 9 and max of 12 credit hour/semester. When on GA, they will hardly let you take more than the min.

If you guys are coming through JFK/La guardia/Newark and will go through the cities for bus or whatsoever, you need to brace yourself. We are having wild cold wind for the past 4 days. This is the coldest some parts of this region ever be in 100 years (record breaker). It's freezing but the good news is no snow today till tomorrow. News had it that it's dangerous to be exposed to the cold too long. One thick jacket won't do it this time. You need at least a 2 layers of thick jacket.

sweet question.

Chase flat fee of $40 for wire transfer covers all charges (technically) but naija banks are still playing games in their dealings.
Whenever i transfer to any GTb dorm (outbound) the payment is received in full without any charges.
Firstbank is my number one culprit they always dip their hand and take out a few bucks most times about $15. cannot remember the name they call that charge.

Now for inbound transfers from dorm naija to US whenever i use my FBN there is an option to say bear all charges that way when it comes in my us bank dont get charge but if that option isnt checked depending on your us bank in my instance chase bank will charge 15bucks.

Transfers from naija isn't a flat fee depends on the amount.
About 4charges just make sure when you transferring from your naija you pay attention the charges are ridiculous and 4 out of ten times FBN had to do reversals owing to over charges.

Their foreign transfer desk for lagos still dey learn work

Thanks for your succinct analysis. I think your bank, Chase Bank is way better than mine(USbank) in terms of international transfer deals. I will see how I could open an account there.

You are very correct in this instance for those seeking graduate degree. But it's a minimum of 12 credit hours for those seeking Undergraduate degree. More so, graduate can take up to 16 credits hour. However, he would have to pay for each credit unit taken. You can alter your units within the deadline of enrolment.

Hi.. Pls I checked and I hardly saw schools that accepted GRE for any finance/accounting programs. Most said GMAT. I go through this thread and I hardly come across any business student here and I loose morale cos nobody understands what you are saying. I would appreciate a business student to send a pm so we can talk better.

Please I need your input, I am about dropping my application for TAMUK via applytexas. In that appytexas page, they haven't asked for docs that others usually ask. they didn't ask for GRE, TOEFL, Transcript, sop on applytexas and I need to know if it was same with you. Is that how they run the thing or will I be redirected to another site where I can make those submissions after making the $50 payment? thanks.
