Richmond996: It's not western union. Its the government policy. So as to discouraged parallel market differentials. Each country states how they want sent money remitted! |

I changed my mind because of the following reasons: It is very cold in ND while in TX, the weather is ok. ND is a white stronghold, TX,Houston especially is a black stronghold. I will feel more athome there. Tho ND is cheaper in terms of cost of living but TX, jobs pay higher wages and alot of jobs there to grab The houston is big. I will make more friends and explore the usa better because after NY,LA,CHI no city has more people than H-town Also its location. I can easily visit states like CA, FL, GA, NC, SC from there because flights would be cheaper from there. Then Cars, cars are cheap in houston than any place in USA. I can easily be buying and shipping to nigeria because there is a big port there. Alot of african restaurants in houston. Shopping places and things to do Houston is very diverse even more than NY now. [Black, white, latino, asian, arabs] all are there Lastly, it is easy to get Green card in state of texas although even if i get it,i would want to return to nigeria to start a career as a diplomat Regards!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by godG: 4:52pm On Feb 12, 2016 |
veleta: I want to believe you can. The most important thing if for you to have the reference number, a US address, and your passport. Good luck. |

veleta: Just hope that the place you go to get cash does not report you to the F.B.I. or National security as 419 / Yahoo-Yahoo. Or even worse as sending funds to terrorists! Better have a good story ready. |

godG: hello boss how far boss i have a question to ask..i applied for an undergraduate programme last year(November) but was denied the visa.. Now i'm thinking of applying for a master program or should i still go with the undergraduate program. Mind you i have Bsc here in Nigeria. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by nairaspace: 6:14pm On Feb 12, 2016 |
veleta: Not advisable. Western Union will actually block you from using their service and i am saying this from experience but not mine though. nelson2015: Only if you stated in your DS160 that you already have a Bsc. |

slimmy2005: I dey tell u. Madison is home away from home. Good, good. Got some cool offers. A possible MA/PhD track here in Madison. But still thinking if I would want to be doing same thing for 5-6 years at the same place. Who say I no want go McGill for Canada for PhD? Yet, a part of me doesn't want to leave because it is UW-Madison, and because of the community I have here. Got some other MA offers with cool ego , but na Kennyrony side, MTU. Tah. :p Some more are still trooping sha. Just weighing the options. How is the thesis coming? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by Nobody: 6:43pm On Feb 12, 2016 |

slimmy2005: That MTU na one hell of a village! Sorry, kennyrony. You are correct about the age thing. Before my mama go dey go aladura house ontop my mata. But seriously, I don't think I would leave Madison sha. |

godG:Its hard to leave where you've already secured yourself a family. You've gained grounds there and it would be an easy ride surviving there. |

Texas or California.. Which is more lucrative in terms of internship.. Or opt opportunities |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by Nobody: 8:02pm On Feb 12, 2016 |
warriboy21: Whereelse?if not the lone star state [TEXAS]. Alot of opportunities there. While California is more of a celebrity/rich peoples state. But if your speciality has to do with computer/ICT, you can try San fransisco bay area [palo alto, los altos, sunnyvale, mountain view] that is the technological capital of the world for now, where google, facebook and so on are but very expensive to live $1000+ for studio monthly. |
