@famfortune, you av to be strong for your dh at this trying moment, the grass is still going to be greener. I'll advice u talk ur dh into allowing in u to stay at mum' place 4 now pending the time tynz get beta n in anoda case, if you can still manage as u've bn doing b4 then stay hom and face this period togeda cos him seeing u n ur soon everyday mite be a source of inspiration for him not to give up. Above all, tighten ur wrapper n call on God cos he's the help of the helpless. May u testify soonest IJN

I would never leave my husband's side even if we dey drink garri together.
You should be happy that your dh took the honest mans' way to get money.
You can go to mommy to collect food from them for the family.
You can also ask your family to raise the money for the rhogam for you if they can.
As for your daughter, she can be homeschooled for now, at least you are literate. Source for scheme, help her to read and do her sums right and you are good to go.


What kind of area do you live in?
Are there many families living around?
What work can you do? Tailoring, hairdressing, baking?
What kind of job was your husband doing before?
Is he a graduate?
Can he drive? ( I dont have a job for him o, buh at least if I hear of anything I can holler).

Famfortune please do not leave your dh at this time. I know its hard but even if its garri you guys can drink, buy the coldest pure water and enjoy it with him. This would only last for a short while and your being around and supportive of him would give him the motivation to hustle more.

If possible, ask if your family can give you a monthly stipend to supplement your dh's income.

For baby things, maybe mamas here that have hung their boots can donate some items to you if possible.

I go with what other mamas have said earlier. If he says he needs you by his side, then don't go. You can go to mum's place and pick food stuffs for you people to eat or she sends cash.
Since you are literate, pick your daughter's text books and teach her using that.
Do you have a refrigerator? Is where you are living a place you can sell pure water? For every bag of pure water you sell, you make 100percent profit.
Does your husband have siblings, can the contribute money for the injection and hospital bill? Please change to a government hospital for your ANC and delivery if you have not done that...

Your husband must be a very Godly man! God bless his earnest desire to earn an honest income just to support his family! !!

after my last scan on the 29th april,which i came here to rant about lol.. i took the result to a doctor on monday. immediately the doctor saw it,he booked me for elective cs on thursday (39wks). i came for admission on wednesday evening,was giving bed with others waiting.
the D day,around 11 am ,i was called as no.1,but i was confident.i was wheeled into the theater,anastestia administered(mehn it was so painful).the team of surgeorns arrive,surgery started exactly 11:15 am. i was at alert.at exactly 11:32am my prince was brought out,immediatly i heard his cry i started laughing like mumu llol. that's when the main work started oo.the fibroid refused to give way for closure. they operated on it and brought it out measuring 7cm. i lost a lot of blood 3litres ,they had to administer 2pints of blood on the spot. while they where stitching me back,i started feeling the pain cos the anastestia was beginning to wear off. i was wheeled out of the theatre with my baby at exactly 12:52pm
i really thank God for everything and the team of doctors too,they did an awesome job. sorry for the epistle.
