Hi All, I am yet to receive a decision from migri after applying on the 6th of June and submitting supplementary documents on the 27th June. This is because, the Finnish embassy in Abuja mistakenly routed my application to migri manually. So my decision is ready , but I can't see it online. Migri has said, that my decision will be sent to the Finnish embassy in Abuja. The Finnish embassy in Abuja, after having contacted them, are yet to receive my decision. This is very very frustrating. cry cry I therefore advise that, for those that are yet to be interviewed, pls, make sure it is routed through the e service online platform from the embassy in Abuja. I have been sending several emails and making several phone calls to no avail. Has any body here ever applied through manual means?? Pls how did you get your decision? Did you have to travel again to Abuja? Or was it sent via attachments to your email?

Greetings house, I have received a negative decision on my application today.
I was denied RP on the ground that I in quote " the applicant (me) does not have secure means of support. There are reasonable grounds to suspect that the applicant intends to evade the provisions on entry into or residence in the country, because the applicant has not provided reliable evidence nor credible explanation of the origin of the assets deposited in applicant’s bank account. "
I used two of my brothers as sponsor, One is an employed PHD Student in Denmark(provided 1.2M) and the other works in Nigeria (Provided 400K).
I provided their statement of account, but my first sponsor(PHD) sometimes have a negative balance in his dannish account towards the end of the month (ie he earns like 2000 Euros a month, but run into; say negative (-)300 to 500Euros balance towards month end.
Migri raised concerns about this and used it as reason to deny my RP. My PHD bro happens to be staying with his wife and child with him; therefore the expenses, but still at that he can squeeze fund to sponsor my studies.
Please how do I appeal this decision taking to consideration that a fresh application will still result to the same conclusion from them. My programme also starts on the 22nd of August and I had my interview on the 21st of June.
Please your suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Veterans should please bring forth suggestions.
I however, think you should get another sponsor and get another account for yourself. You fit come transfer small small to the sponsor, so, e go fit transfer to you but please, always get concrete proof(s) for every fund you intend to use

Using his "PhD brother" as a sponsor was a monumental mistake. You need 560 euros a month and your brother earns around 2K to 3K euros per month. A family man with a wife and kid will spend around 2K euros per month and will most likely not be able to cater for the applicant effectively. If he wants to reapply with a new sponsor, he will have to convince Migri that his new sponsor is willing to provide the necessary support. Also the applicant must make reference to the earlier denied application stating that his brothers are also willing to provide extra support.

It's a wild shot... I will give it a 30% chance of success, because they currently have doubt with the applicant's financial background which is the most important part of the RP application process.

Then don't worry. They printed out some guidelines sheet for me that carried a manual application number. On getting home, I checked the e-service site and saw that a different customer number had been generated for me.
