Health officers in Sapele Delta State, caught kpomo sellers in Sapele market who confessed to using embalming fluid to fatten kpomo. According to them, they inject the kpomo wit the embalming fluid, after which they soak the kpomo in water for a period of time.This process fatten the kpomo & makes it look delicious. They are currently in police custody in Sapele. May God save us

Congratulations Evacroft I am happy for you. May Almighty God bless ur baby for u. I guess u were on cerclage pls kindly give clues on how u went tru with it and the precautions taken. I will be taking this path soon.i want to be more enlightened.

Take a hug first *hugs* The many pecks dat comes with motherhood and career. I ws once as confused as you are and I cried wen I had to, to ease my mind.

Ok, mum arranged for the girl for me thru one lady. I paid the lady 5k. Their salary range is within 10-20k depending on where they re comin from ie considering transport and the nature of their job.

My nanny stays close to me so we walks to work and she earns 12k. Her major chores are to clean my house, wash&iron baby's clothes and take care of him while I'm at work. She does not cook 4 me. Also, other extras I do: I bought her a phone and she eats twice or takes her last meal home.

As for my toddler, I drop off him and his nanny at granny's house. Sometimes if I'm running late, hubby does d drop off and either of us dat gets home first will do pick up.

For baby to sleep at night, I reduce screen time ie tv watching and he does a lot of outdoor play; football, race, riding bike etc. 7.30-8pm, he takes his bath and eats. 9-9.30p, lights out and I put him to sleep. Wen he wakes up at night, I feed him again and he goes back to sleep. In d morning, I give him a bath, dress him up, feed and take care of myself too then we all leave d house. Since I got preggy, dats a lot for me coupled with tiredness so hubby bathes and dresses him up and also does the drop off.

If you are preggy already, av a chat wit ur boss to allow you 1hr late. U can negotiate to close 1hr afta others to balance d time.

I don't knw of any nanny agency, I've always had people bring dem for me.

Take it easy each day as it comes and don't beat yourself to it. All the best dear

1. ..so according to the scan I did last week my baby already weighs 3.48kg..the sonographer was virtually begging me to stop eating esp sinz I stl had 2 to 3weeks left so d baby wouldn't get to 4kg...I didn't get d gist den till nw readin all d BS from Ftm like myself havin babies weighing less with episiotomy. ..now I am officially scared ..if I start starving myself nw would it help reduce baby's weight

Another thing, did you install camera in your house?

Someone suggested creche but I think my baby will be too young for creche at that time; he'll be 2mths + by God's grace. ..

This issue is really giving me headache. .it's even worse as my husband works offshore half of the time so I'm basically somewhat alone..

It's normal in subsequent deliveries after your first. It's called afterpain and it's worse when baby suckles.its your uterus contracting back to size. Take your pain relief drug, I guess they prescribed one for you after delivery. If not ibuprofen will do. Dooooh! It will finally stop b4 1wk post partum. Tkia

tank u mama dey only gave me paracetamol for the pain, i pray it stop soon.

Sorry dear i had the same issue and the pain would get so bad i would almost drop the baby. What helped me was hot water massage i would soak a towel in hot water and press my lower abdomen . The water should be hot but should still be okay for you to put your hands. Try to do it morning and night. Please note i had a vd so it was okay to do that.
