Lol. That's false. I grew up in Onitsha and the words from my friends there via our whatsapp group when discussing this was that they'll stay at home to avoid IPOB's intimidation. During my stay in Onistsha few years ago, Massob also issued this stay at home order and despite being Yorubas, we obeyed it.

Do you know that if an Igbo person doesn't sit at home in the east, he'll be labelled a sabo and if such is to have a business, pro-biafrans would advise others to avoid engaging in his business.

It happened to one of my friend's dad during one of the protests early this year.

I don't think the soldiers would shoot at people going about their business. Those they have attacked or engage with in the past are people who congregated for the Biafran protest or something similar, not people going about their business.

But it is best for people to stay at home. I've warned all my loved ones back in the east.

You grew in onitsha..and your yourba....not making sense..

even if u don't support biafra because I believe we igbos have more to gain in one Nigeria than any other tribe

Even if u want to get Biafra definitely not like this.. . No body will take u serious like this

Form a political party. .. With the clear aim of liberating Biafra.. If the fight is popular
The party will easily win a clear majority of sites in the region... Then with the recognised representative of the people demand for referendum... they no burn Nigeria well to say no... .

But no... They don't like this natural approach. . Nigeria is not democratic.. But u want it to democratically give u referendum and allow u protest

Stupidity is when u shout Biafra and still vote in Nigerian election

As for nnamdi Kanu. . He is just a greedy man.. who want to milk the people... He is very smart I must confese. .. he knows what he is doing and that is not getting Biafra

Y can't we hold our governors, senators, reps members to speak on Biafra.. .. . No they won't. .. But yet ipob supports them... Don't that ring a bell?

This is the crux of the matter, the igbos are lazy politically, industrial-wise, yes, commercial-wise, yes, trade-wise, yes, technology-wise, yes and so on.

Political strength and fortitude remains the albatross of the igbos and Political strength remains the greatest capacity you can have anywhere in the world. This is where other regions in Nigeria even the SS has the edge over the igbos.

The igbos want everything in Nigeria on a platter, be it appointments and even the Presidency but they are not ready to slug it out politically due to their laziness politically, they prefer to resort to blackmail by crying marginalization which only exist in their imagination whenever they don't get what they want.

You still don't get it. Nigeria is the illegal creation of the White man. Everything from your National Assembly to the Presidency to Governors to representatives are all illegal because the foundation where they derive their power comes from an illegal colonial creation. Therefore, the only rightful thing to do in other to legalise Nigeria is to ask the indigenous people who Lugard stole their lands to create Nigeria, wether they want Nigeria or not, via referendum. Those who say yes become legalised Nigerians. Those who say no are then left to organise their own Country, Government and laws. Nigeria is illegal.

We igbos are not used to politics that's the truth... it is not our thing.. . And we are very protective and suspicious of our selfs that's what lead to hatred and feeling of marginalization.. . We have the numbers and the brain but lack the figure head to pull us together
Nnamdi Kanu has that chance.. . Form a political party of the igbos.. rule ur state well and become the leader of ibos. .. Rochas once had that chance to but it is gone

See this one. I came from a Yoruba family. I was born and bred in Onitsha. Spent 16 years of my life in that wonderful city. My best male and female friends are Igbos and my boo is an Igbo.

Like what Ibe Kachikwu once said that he sees himself more as a Lagosian than an Igbo, I see myself more as an Onitshan grin than a Yoruba.

The thing is just that I am pro-Nigeria.

And it seems you don't stay in the east or how do you think Yorubas are not in the East

if you see yourself as a nigerian for me you're a Big FOOL.

i've been saying it, now it is even proven beyond reasonable doubt. RadioBiafra made it very clear that the problem in the dark continent is mostly due to a low level of IQ, in particular very apparent in the Zoo/nigeria where many of the people mainly in northern Zoo/nigeria have IQ percentually in range from 0% to 79%(debility state of condition). one does not need further explanation to come to an open conviction why in the Zoo/nigeria the simplest tasks are for the baboons/monkeys occupying that geographical space unsolvable and can be established as herculean work. arabs are demigods to some yorubas, awusas and fulanis!

this might be one of the reasons why a Rapist, Child-Abuser, Paedophile, Islamic Jihadist, Brainless animal, Treasury Looter by the name buhari was voted into power...the baboons are still living in cities with open sewage system, no centralized water provision system, no roads, dirty environments, lack of refuse disposal system,...etc, these are all very simple tasks....enough said.

No mind am. Back then when I was there, we had a Yoruba community with an Oba. We do congregate too for events albeit in a low scale. We mingled with the Igbos. I knew of two Igbos who married Yoruba Muslims doe I'll include they got so much resentments from some of their family members.

What I knew was that some Igbos resented the Hausas. It was when I came online after leaving the East that I found out that some share same feelings towards the Yorubas. It doubled after the 2015 elections.

I'm not bothered. I speak Yoruba and Igbo and can blend freely with any of the tribe.

I am for peace. I am pro Nigeria.

Nigeria should be restructed pronto. No amount of pacification and heavy investments in the east will make it better or at par with the North and West.

No amount of window dressing will stop the yoruba and hausa man not to view the igbo man as a 2nd class citizen. Biafra has to be actualized for igbos to rule themselves. The forced unity willl only benefit the elite and the north.

As a Yoruba man, i dont hate an igbo but i am wary of him and see him as beneath me. This is not my fault, i grew up noticing it as igbos continued to troop into my region to survive while screaming of marginalization at the same time. I know the igbos have suffered and i stand shoulder to shoulder with them today to support the actualization of biafra.

The damage has been done already, inequity has taken root and is now a big tree in Nigeria. Nothing can save the igbos in Nigeria from been derided and viewed with suspicion.

I say Nigeria, let theses people Go!

Selah.

You see, the Igbos are indeed beneath yorubas when it comes to ritual killings, incest, rape, agberoism & owomidaism. The Igbos move to the SW to harness opportunities the lazy yorubas cannot see.(yoruba youths have lost influnce in Nigeria-Maxwell Adeyemi). The yoruba youths go about harassing hard working Nigerians shouting owomida at the top of their voices reason why the okada riding hausas got angry and decided to deal with yorubas in mile12, driving them out of the homes for one week. cheesy cheesy. There are so many Chinese and Indians in Nigeria and Africa looking for opportunities to harness does it mean that Nigeria is better than China? (Selah)

Stop mentioning hausas and then trying to feel among by adding yorubas because according to Prof Wole Soyinka, the Hausa/Fulani are the first class citizen, he never included yorubas. Go figure.

Apart from Lagos state which was collectively developed by all Nigerians what else do yorubas have? Why is it that every yoruba I meet is from Lagos state? i don't blame them, who can be proud to be from the five SW states? Wh can be proud to be from ikire or soka? Lolzz cheesy cheesy
