they are insisting that I would give birth 2 weeks before my edd
that early birth is in our blood
so mamas biko is early birth genetic?

Note:at the general hospital where i wanted given birth dey never told me i had protien in my urine and that my bp was high.it was the doctor at private hospital dat told me about all dis that am having preeclamasia.he was very angry about this and was like didn't they tell u about all dis at the hospital where u registered.

Preeclampsia could be very funny... I don't think they have fault at the general hospital.
it can develop within few hours to days. Talking from experience

Lilybestie, I think dat 8th day circumcision is on religious grounds. My son ws circumcised day 2.

There really is no rule to the date of circumcision. It is best done in the first few weeks as they say the pain and healing is better.

I think the 8th day thing is due to traditional or religious reasons. But that is only valid if the baby is otherwise healthy.

My birth story,
It started a week before EED, I started having cramps constantly at night but fades away in the morning, I went to the hospital a day before my EED 12th Sept, and doctor booked me for induction on 22nd as I was trying a Vbac. As at 12th my cevix was closed n not effaced, on the 13th I lost my mucus plug n I was hapi labour was near, the mid9t contractions only occurs at night but stops by 6am, on the 19th of Sept around 12:00am, I was still chatin with dh who said I would give birth very soon that his son was waiting for his arrival. 20mins after my contractions became stronger and more painful, I woke my bro up who drove me down to the hospital, got to the hospital around 1:30am the doc checked me and said I was just 1cm dialated, I was disappointed, the 2nd doc checked me again n said i can't birth tru vjay that my pelvic is narrow. I was so furious n told her i'll give it a try. 2hrs after, I was 2 to 3cm gone, they inserted a cartheter n 3 hrs or so later it fell off n I became 4 to 5cm dialated. Bro went to pick dh up n he came straight to the hospital, he was suprised I Didn't tell him. Na so I hapi, it got to a stage I couldn't withstand the pains, I asked for an epidural n I was given, 3hrs later I was 7cm dialated, 90%effaced n -2. By this time it was 8pm already, so the so called evil doc has resumed duty back, she came in n said u can't birth through vjay. My dh as very angry n said she wasn't being professional, that there are better ways she cud av relayed the msg to me instead of being mean about it, na so the Spanish doc cool down, she explained hersef telling her my baby's Head is big n he was facing up not down n if he shud squeeze his head via the cevix that something bad mite happen.

We agreed to the csectn, was wheeled into the theatre by 11pm, baby came out 11:22pm, dh saw his head that it was already formin one kind lump at the back n I head when they said his left leg was stucked in me. Thank God I went that path cos only God knowz wot cud av hapnd. Baby A'Ahad Olayiwola Owolabi came out weighing 4.03kg n wasn't affected by my rhesus factor cos that was my major concern. i am very new on this platform. I got married this year and got pregnant sometimes in may.i lost the pregnancy in july. Reasons that cannot really be identified by the doctor. my mensuration started again in August and it has been constant since then. I have done my period three times after the evacuation and i have been praying to get pregnant since.I will like if the house can educate me on how to calculate my ovulation dates. I have read so many ways to calculate on the internet but i find it very confusing. please help me out. i really want to be pregnant again

In the simplest of terms; ovulation normally occurs around your mid cycle, which means for a 28days cycle, it would happen around day 14, and for 35days cycle, it would happen around day 17. you dig?

Lilybestie the 8th day thingie is biblical.
My son was circumcised on day 2.
I believe the older the babies get, the more pain they feel.

Though biblical, there is also a scientific theory that found out that enzymes necessary for blood coagulation which is very important in the healing process increases btw day 5-7 and have its peak on the 8th day, u kno God is full of wisdom. Hello mama, you are welcome to the forum!!! God will perfom his miracle in your life soon. Amen!!! As per your ovulation calculation, what i did was to download an application called MY CALENDAR. This application will let you know when your ovulation will start and end by clicking on it the first day you start your menstruation. It will even tell you your next menstruation date and your ovulation and your fertility day.

Try it out and am sure this will help.
