Do you really understand that we ard talking about nation, people, hunger, economy, poverty...not a woman and her man. About suffering of the people, about govt of the people by the bubu. I can defend my husband not a husaand president that makes pple cry
Yes I understand yet she suppose to have defended her husband.

I don't know why the ladies of this generation are chasing the unrighteous marriage concept of the western. Even PMB wife said it before election that she is a house wife not an office holder and said she should be addressed as Wife of the President not First lady with Ego and crafty hands as we saw in the past administration. She belong to everywhere the President says she belong. That why he is the head.
This single reason is why celebrities cannot last in their husband house(Pride and Ego).
A woman must know her place. As a man when you refuse to define this place before marriage, you get things like mama peace of the past with watery mouth.

All this these is called submissiveness. Even the devil was sent down for insubordination.

Where I say my wife belong is where she belongs. Meaning even if she is the President of Nigeria she is still my wife and belongs to my kitchen and bedroom with orthopedic matrass. wink

We are Africans and must behave as such.

Therefore, I stand with Baba on this one and my sweet wife support my post.

"Where I say my wife belong is where she belongs. Meaning even if she is the President of Nigeria she is still my wife and belongs to my kitchen and bedroom with orthopedic matrass. wink"

Nice!

That is what we call political correctness but she didnt talk like a wife or a politician but like a mother, a woman, a concerned person, somebody who expects more, a member of public. I wont defend my husband's presidency if he fails like this but i can use my life to defend my husbnd, i mean my man

Actually I've bin supportive of the APC merger even before the election, after the election a lot has happened and indeed the masses are loosing fate in the present government everyday. I think in my opinion the president should have tackle his wifes allegations and opinion rather than demonstrating his ignorance even in the presence of a female world leader by reffering and reminding us that all women carriers end in the kitchen or at home... In my opinion i think Aisha buhari demonstrated her role indeed as a lover of the masses and loyal wife, trust me when I say not many northerner Muslims wife's can stand against many of their husband's reckless and stupid decisions... This incident has actually portrayed the president as clueless, uniformed and uneducated with his manner of approach to issues.... He could choose a state visit to any other country so as to voice his stupid, egocentric and idiotic statement about his wife and of course womenhood but not in Germany.... #Clueless.

I think you've said it all, he just show how egocentric he could be a times... That woman raised issues, national issues, questions which are not far fetch from the lips of the masses and all he could do is to refer to women as some sort of used television which u keep in the store and of all places he choose a country that have a sitting president as a woman.... #So clueless........
razortruth:
Unfortunately, he is damn wrong. That's the mindset of the average Northerners hence the use and dump manner they mete to women. Indeed, nothing can replace education. So Bubu, the Angella you went to meet in Germany belongs to the kitchen? Just pray she doesn't read this your reply else you will be trashed live right there in Germany. What of Hillary Clinton? What about the queen of England? Kitchen materials? It would have been better if you didn't respond

President Buhari has reacted to the interview his wife Hajia Aisha Buhari granted the British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) where she said she may not support his re-election bid in 2019 if he so decides to run. Buhari reacted to this interview to reporters in Germany where he stood side-by-side with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Speaking on his wife's interview, President Buhari said, "I don't know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room."

Buhari, who laughed off his initial statement, further told the reporters that he hopes his wife will remember that he ran for president three times before succeeding on the fourth attempt. In his words, "So I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition, because in the end I have succeeded. It's not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition parties or to participate in the government."

What did you expect from an illiterate?

It's a pity that this colonial error called Nigeria have no choice of leaders, it's the first nation i witness as educated people votes illiterate into power.

This his statement is a prove that this daura monk doesn't listen to his wife; that's why she open his nyash on BBC.

What a disgrace lipsrsealed

You women are your own worst enemies, all the women in his cabinet will hear this comment but because of what they will chop they will remain. In a civilized society sincere about advancing the cause of women, you will see female cabinet members with integrity and principles resigning over his comment or at the very least demanding a public apology. This is how you advance the cause of women not by shouting "I'm a feminist so I too can sleep around like men".
U are right

Honestly. I don't think there's anytin wrong wit ds Buhari kind of wife.
This is a woman dat is fighting, in her own way,to protect her husband & her home 4rm friendly foes.
For her to have gone to d media, she must be short of options.
I commend her & Mr Buhari should attend to her fears.
Yeah I know but coming out public in this shameful way does not solve anything. A wife should be submissive to her husband and dance to whatever music the man sings. Nobody forced her to marry him. She should have known he was like this before she exchanged vows.

i find pmb's comments extremely funny and very annoying. Can someone give this man a reality check. Ur own wife ur personal life sharer gave an expose on u and this is the blabber u could raise. Ironically he made this comment with merkel by his side. I agree that this man is still reading cartoons. That reminds me he has started his external rabble rousing as usual

Far from that bro. Buhari is not a man u can make to dance to ur tune even if u are his wife and that is discipline. Buhari won election not because of Aisha but Aisha came to the limelight because she is married to Buhari and she can park out of Aso Rock if she so wishes, nonsense. Who told her that Buhari won because of her campaign? Who even know her? Abeg, make she got siddon jare.
but it's obvious buhari has been hijacked and easily influenced, i personally knew this d moment i started seeing PDP card carrying members that campaigned and voted for jonathan bin give political appointments eg sen ita enang and just recently sen ndoma egba. Buhari fall my hand here biggerly

I only hope....this is not a distraction, we will see......

Its indeed a believable story sha, reading through what her wife said, you dont need anyone to agree with the wife..
