@yomiesneh please i sent you a mail to the email addresss i saw on your profile background. I already know that AL1 schools mostly don't require sponsors/acct statements even at visa application. Meawhile a Masters of Engineering in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING in RMIT is 34000aud per year while similar program in edith cowan university is 25900aud per year and which EDC is of my interest and as a result would require a sponsor of which i have been clamouring for clarification on the variety of sponsors acceptable on this thread since yesterday and i have not got a clear answer..

Lolz! You're right. The Annual income option is ridiculous. However, you still need a strong proof for the 12 months option. Would be a scholarship/loan given to you by an organisation intending to employ you on your return or from your current employer. Alternatively, maybe a fixed deposit of at least three months might work.

if i seem right, yet you have not or don't have a CONVINCING definite answer to my question meanwhile i have read the IMMIGRATION WEB PAGE so if my question is answered i would know

University of New England
Deakin university
Or more ,you can also check them cos they don't require bank statement

things have changed since 2014, a lot actually...there's a new class of visa now since July this year under the ssvf ...so the above schools do not require proof of funds (statement of account )...mind you that is different from proof of payment(usually part or complete payment of first semester tuition)..

Congrats on your graduation and most especially your Pr. ...that's how I want my story to be ...at what point did you apply for pr ?seems you applied for Pr straight ,not post study visa ??

Anyone can be you sponsor for AL1 applicants.
You need to show your relationship with your sponsor.
You need a sponsorship letter stating how this person has supported you in the past or why they are supporting you now.
Provide supporting documents of your school fees they have paid in the past.

be careful who you deal with ..i know someone that sells aud at about 360-370.,but I don't know how you're going to deal with the person ...check how much your tuition is compare multiply by 0.75 ,that's the USD equivalent...calculate the difference between having someone pay for you and buying dollar at black-market , if the difference isn't much ,bone the risk and do black-market ,..if it's too good ,run wearing your slippers on your hands ...hence don't take a step you'll regret..careful

Hello house, I'm just joining this thread. I applied to the Australian embassy on the 2nd of this month and I'm still awaiting...but the suspense is killing me. School resumes on the 27th of this month and I haven't sorted my accommodation.
Thank God I received my Visa Grant today the 16th of February. application submitted on the 2nd of February, medicals on the 1st of February and biometrics on the 3rd. I will be traveling to Melbourne next week Thursday or Friday and I haven't booked my ticket. Please house, what's the cheapest flight from Lagos to Melbourne?

In most cases it does cover but people still end up deferring their admission while other change from uni to uni or uni to tafe. In such case, you do need to show ielts and bankstatement for your visa to be granted.
