Nigeria won't break for nobody, talkless a pastor who's so fucking soft that he looks away when his fellows Christians are killed! The hausas should take their throne. Nothing will happen. We yorubas are too soft and we would eventually pay for it.

Fvck you! Everybody knows me in this forum as a Yoruba jingoist and I state it that we yorubas are too lazy to get involved in any conflict! The Igbos are more resilient! Who has osinbajo helped? Where area his kids? Osinbajo is a man who has no base! We ain't gonna risk Yoruba lives for that pastor who hasn't got balls! I support the Hausas to oust him! I am a fellow Christian as the pastor but he has proven to be a sissy thus far. Yorubas are a very soft people and we won't do jack if osinbajo is hurt! You

Go and die. I repeat, if you come from a mediocre family, that's your unfortunate luck. Your problem is that because you don't know your history, you swallow the rubbish fed to you.

Read up the exploits of the Yoruba soldiers in the civil war. Yoruba soldiers practically ended that war. Obasanjo, Adekunle, Iluyomade, even Banjo led the Only Biafran offensive.
Go and check how Yorubas in Pre-Colonial era fought wars regularly.
The Igbos you're mentioning never won any war in the history of the entire Igboland. Have you ever heard of any Igbo notable Igbo Kingdom?

You think warfare is making noise and running around? Go and read up on alternative warfare. Those are what ended the Biafran war.

Go and get properly educated and stop disgracing yourself.

cowardly is when you talk more but do less ... If Yorubas couldnt declare Oduduwa in 1967, they will never have the backbone to do it again.
There are many things that happened in that era that should have encouraged Yorubas to seek self determination, but they didnt
1) The Northerners went to Ibadan and killed the Governor of the Western Region, Lt Colonel Fajuyi. This singular act of sacrilege on Yoruba soil, to such a highly placed Yoruba son should have been the final straw for Yorubas. They should have risen up against the excesses of the North along with the Igbos, but they did nothing. When the Northerners realised that Yorubas had no fight in them, it emboldend them to do much worse.
2) Brigadier Ogundipe officially became 'acting head' of state with the disappearance of Ironsi. He should have been confirmed head of state with confirmation of Ironsi's death as the highest ranking military officer after Ironsi (Ogundipe was the only Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army at the time). The Northerners drove Ogundipe out of Lagos, Yoruba land, and banished him to London where he was summarily retired. Again, the Yoruba nation should have risen up in defence of their land and son. They did nothing. Today, if Igbos call Lagos 'no mans land', the average Yoruba man will be offended. But when Brigadier Ogundipe was been harrased out of Lagos by the North, no Yoruba man said a word.
3) Colonel Adebayor replaced Fajuyi as Governor of the western Region. Adebayor never slept in Government House because he was afraid that the Northerners would come and slaughter him like they did Fajuyi.
Yorubas were held hostage in their own land. 20 years later, the Northerners kidnapped and slaughtered MKO Abiola. As usual, nothing happend.
I laugh when Yorubas talk about Oduduwa Republic, I dont think they realise that it takes more than 'mere talking' to achieve independence.

What happened when Nzeogwu struck and Yoruba top military officers were slaughtered like pigs and rams, nothing, Yoruba's did absolutely nothing.

Kettykin, 3 million Igbos happened.

Benjamin Adekunle who would shoot at anything moving, also happened.

All these stories you cooked up doesn't concern me as they happened way back. The contemporary Yoruba race is so docile that we can be sacked in our own cities with no repercussion. On this particular issue of pastor, I repeat that nothing would happen. The Hausas have got this one.

Cooked up stories? I guess you're incapable of reading.

Keep fooling yourself. The Hausas are still starting from the Ilé-Ifè treatment which shocked them to numbness. It's not the typical Yoruba response of restraint and showed the bitter side of Yorubas.

What by happend whe Awolowo was giving a life jail sentence over treason, nothing Yoruba's did absolutely nothing.

What happened when the north struck in July 1966 and fajuyi was slaughtered like a beast in his zone nothing ,Yorubas did absolutely nothing.

What happened when ogundipe was kicked out of the seat of power in July 1966 even as he was supposed to take over as the most senior military official, nothing, Yoruba's did absolutely nothing.

What happened when Abiola was sent to jail for winning and election and killed in jail with his wife kudi rat slaughtered on the streets of Lagos, nothing, yorubas did absolutely nothing.

What happened when the mouth maker obasanjo was bundled to prison over trumped up coup charges with all the Yoruba generals and top military officers, nothing Yoruba did absolutely nothing.

What will happen if osinbajo is chanced by the North and displaced from m taking over from buhari ,if chinakwes dog bites the dust, nothing Yoruba's will do absolutely nothing.

That is naija for you. The most worrisome is the over 2 million biafrans killed, starvation, abandoned property, exile, marginalisation. 50 years after the victims are agitating to be liberated. Meanwhile politics is going on in Nigeria. Nothing can break Nigeria except God.

We are just blessed with rascals as leaders, why do always have people inflaming the already terrible union.

Can't we be bridge builders and not making war songs. OMA se ooo.

That is why I respect Baba Obasanjo in this present day Nigeria, even though am not his fan. He has no equal in terms of patriotism and nationalism, other present and past presidents are secondary ethnic jingoists.

Sending awolowo to jail was the single most important factor that led to the truncation of the 1st republic and the bloody aftermath......
As for abiola, the northerners didn't kill him, the international community did. Just like they killed abacha....
Both had to go for semblance of stability to return to the country....
Right now, the unpredictability of nigerian political landscape is too intense for anybody to play game with it....
Best bet is to allow for the rule of law......
A word they say is enough for the wise....

What most other tribes in Nigeria don't understand about the Yorubas is this ...we don't act on impulse..... or emotions, we analysis carefully and react.
1. When the first coup happened Awolowo was in prison abi? What happened later? The foolish civil war,....remember, Fajuyi was killed Ogundipe was denied ....ok
Awolowo came back....because that are around Gowon are the Yorubas, he made him the Minister of Finance.... the got their rewards.
Go and ask the Abacha and IBB......they will tell you Yorubas will always have the last laugh.....Ask Jonathan.... He hasn't recovered from what hit till today.
See Lagos an evny of the nation..... No conspiracy can destroy that city. Nigeria can only be separated if we want it......this Birfraud issues are our script and the Ibo head will be used to break the coconut.... so you see they can be partakers. Their creed is too clear......the south-south's wealth........They will be disappointed.
