Imagine this dirty old man..Obiano will win with a very wide margin. You think Anambra will fall to APC so that the curse of backwardness in your Imo state shall affect us. APC will come 3rd in the election. Anambra is not your Imo state that is filled with poor people that can be cornered with few cups of rice and salt.

As for airport, what imo state has is a motor park. It is not anything near an airport. We shall know when you build one. People only come and commission statues and you are happy. LOL

Face your under development and high insecurity in your Imo state. People are now being beheaded in Owerri anyhow. Don't forget the US Army officer that was killed in Owerri. The level of insecurity in Owerri and Imo state at large can never allow real development to take place in that state and you wonder why 1/3rd of Imolites are resident in Anambra. LOL

Hehehehehe..your prayer is that Tony shall win so that Anambra will become like your IMO State that is backward, hopeless, worthless and useless. It will shock you on saturday because Obiano via his excellence in all spheres of governance shall sweep the polls. We are marching forward.

Useless old man. Okorocha paid failed presidents from other countries who are equally members of his secret cult to visit him in Imo state. Is that an achievement in a very poor state as Imo state where salaries have not been paid for months? Okorocha is wasting money building statues when the roads in Imo state are terribly bad and Imo state is very backward in all spheres of development, no wonder 1/3rd of Imolites are all resident in Anambra where they see as their greener pasture.

I think u two are a disgrace, Anambra verus Imo, let me ask u, wat is the difference between the two.

In the whole south east, Anambra and Imo are the most close knit.

I am a product of the two states, my dad is from Anambra around the orlu/ogbaru area and mum is from around Owerri area.

If i have my way, i will make Anambra and Imo one state.(join only those two states together)

Abagworo isn't from Imo. He is a rabid fulani guy that lives in PH playing games with the mind of immature Igbo youths such as Chino. Abagworo loves to attack Anambra so that Chino will do him the favor of attacking Imo. In so doing, other little minded fellows from both states join in the melee thinking they are "defending" their state.

part of the problem i have with Igbo youth today is what i call the Onitsha Main market mentality. The youths decide not to consider history nor research the facts for themselves and simply jump on the ideas of anyone among them they consider a mentor or sage.
Now to the point, Anambra markets are predominately dominated by Anambra and Imo people. the same way the markets in Aba is dominated by Abia and Anambra people. The Machiavellian tactics used in those markets and deep competitive trading rivalries among traders, including the bad tricks which people play on eachother, quickly cause the use of "labels" on everyone from a particular state. i believe this is the school of thought Chino subscribes to when he keeps mentioning Imo businesses in Anambra. Abagworo simply positions himself to maximally exploit and fan the negative sentiment.

These people will never change, i am only glad that most people do not join their madness. let them kwantinue. no shaking.

Mind you, my opinion is objective because i have observed these two people for many years now and i am not from either state.

Okorocha reduced Imo state to one city of Owerri.

In Anambra state: Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi for a start - Anambra state governors have to deal with providing development infrastructures to these three big cities.

In Imo state, gullible ones are fooled by a governor who reduced Imo state to become Owerri where he provides development infrastructure.

That's a fat lie. Can you compare Nnewi with Orlu now? Which infrastructure is in Nnewi? Where in Anambra can you compare with Oguta? Anambra is historically more urbanised but not by any Government. Imo comes third right after Lagos and Anambra in urbanization still not by Government but natural events. However the chains of suburbs in both States are basically similar with Owerri and Oguta standing out in beauty while Onitsha and Nnewi stand out in market.

Copied from facebook

THE FACT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

Recently my colleagues and I were traveling to Owerri Imo state on an assignment. Normally we stated discussing on a variety of issues. One of us (who is a card carrying member of our once great party - PDP) opined that the Imo state governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha is a monumental failure. I took him up a bit on this and suspended stating that since we are visiting Imo state, it would be reasonable for us to have continue the discussion on our way back.

On getting to Owerri the Imo state capital, I observed the manner this my colleague was gazing around in utter surprise perhaps. My colleague was amazed at the level of development in the state as well as well as the road expansion work on going within the state capital aimed to contain the increasing population of the state.

On our way back my colleague announced his appreciation of the performance of the present governor of Imo state - Owelle Rochas Anayochukwu Okorocha against some of the comments read on Social media. He wondered why facts are denied on political reasons and argued that majority of those who condemn the governor need to visit the state.

I took it up to narrate some the policies of this administration to my colleague. I informed him that the governor ensures equitable spread of infrastructural among the various Local Government Councils of the state at the same time. We both pointed some challenges to this method of carrying everybody along at the same time as the resources may not be enough.

We pointed out some areas that deserve urgent attention from Okorocha's administration. We all agreed that the Owerri-Okwelle-Okigwe road deserves the state urgent attention with a good drainage system. In the same manner the Owerri-Egbu-Mbaise-Obowo road deserves urgent attention in the area of expansion, a solid drainage system and upgrade. The Ihite Uboma-Nkwere-Orlu road axis of the state needs serious attention as to contain the increasing vehicular movement on that road.

Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha should endeavour to complete some of the key projects he started in the state before the end of his tenure.

Long live the governor!
Long live the people of Imo State!!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!

You hate the truth with all your life.

Now let me clear you up. Imo state is a very backward state compare to Anambra.

Anambra is the 3rd most urbanised state after Lagos and Rivers state

Owerri the biggest town in Imo state is very unlivable with filth, bad roads, insecurity etc

More than 1/3rd of Imolites are resident in Onitsha. FACT

There is not comparison at all, It will take Imo state at least 100yrs to get to where Anambra is right now, and that is if we decide to wait for you guys.

Ordinary Osumenyi beats everything you have in Oguta. We can do the picture comparison here and now.

These are residential areas in Onitsha that Owerre the biggest Imo town can never boast of.

Onitsha is a cosmopolitan city where at least 1/3rd of Imolites live. Let the truth be said once and for once, why is it that most rich Imolites are resident in Onitsha? Why not Owerre? Sincerely speaking I am yet to see any big time rich man resident in Owerre, the truth is that Owerri is not livable, bad roads, filth and most of all high level of insecurity despite the fact that the town is economically worthless and unviable. Stop feeling bitter because your brother told you the bitter truth. It is indeed shameful that people hardly live or relocate to Owerri rather people are running out from the town to Anambra, Lagos, Abuja etc, for a better living and economic survival.

Abagworo these are genuine Imolites that says it the way it is and not this propaganda you carry on NL.

Below is a true confession from an Imolite. The truth is bitter.

.then I made some moves to inquire more.

This is not politics, or sounding political; not at all, but only seeking for our views on what to do. I will make it short.

Few months ago, I was in Nigeria, precisely Owerri. The metropolitan city has really turned to something I never expected of it – roads are very bad, traffic uncontrollable, roads blocked with refuse, not to talk of the insecurity and workers not receiving salaries and pensioners not receiving their pensions from the government. As a state, a lot is going on; however, that is not my concern at the moment.

While traveling from Owerri to Ogberuru, the road was horrible and plying through Umuowa to Orlu was just a death-trap. The only alternative route was through Okwudor to Banana Junction. And not that it was good; however, one must get home.

I do not want the above to bother me, after all, the governor plies the road every weekend to his home town Ideato and the road is his responsibility to put in order.

My most concern is Orlu local government, precisely Ogberuru with its Representative in the State Assembly.

In Ogberuru we have:

1. No road

2. No water

3. The tap running water before is no more running.

4. No facilities for good life and no light

5. In front of the Cherubim and Seraphim after Chief Festus Dike’s house, the road has already cut off.

6. At Eke Ogberuru, the road that connects Ihioma, Umuazala and Ideato is already damaged by the government as a result of unfinished road construction.
My own car got stuck before Utta’s house on that very road and the youths within the area helped to chuck my car out of the mess with shovels and diggers for hours. This is very touching.

After days, I got back to Owerri and placed a call to Hon. Marcel Odunze, the man representing us – Orlu local government in the Imo State House of Assembly to inquire exactly what was happening.
Unfortunately, he was at his home town and requested to meet me immediately he returns to Owerri.

Immediately he got to Owerri, he called and I directed him where we met. It was a long talk and I poured out my heart to him that:

"We are completely unhappy with him and the government. And this is his time to act and he should do something".

Finally, he requested the people and also asked me to contribute my own ideas to make things happen.

I think we should revisit him with our concerns to act for our people and all the communities in Ogberuru.

If agreed to visit him, what do you think, we should tell him and will you be a party to visit him?

Thanks
Hon. Ejike Ikezuagu

He is very correct. Imo state is dead. If you doubt it, then mark one area that the state is doing well: Is it infrastructure(bad roads), employment generation, education, agriculture, etc, despite the fact that the state has borrowed over 150B and took 26B bailout, still yet there is nothing anywhere on ground to point at.

Roads construction: Rochas is trying compare to previous administration. The road I observed rochas construct that didn't last was the ones he constructed during raining seasoning but some are still good.
