Is there a talk about versus or about credibility of Air force.

The heat of battle knows no credibility.

Hence it always happens that reputable world class SF operators from:
Russia
USA
Nigeria
Britain.......and basically every country are killed by goatfuckers with no little to no formal training, except experience!

How do we keep building the experience without the right platforms, or rather, with the "wrong" platofrms?

Well except you want to call the majority of Nigerians terrorists cos the revolution will succeed if civil society along with some of the security establishment revolts. France is what it is today because of the people's revolution against a mindless monarchy. Nigeria is the only country in the world of such status governed by criminals masquerading as politicians. These are people promoting and appointing officers for loyalty rather than competence. The worst of nepotism. Whoever truly loves Nigeria rather tribe or persons will send these present crop of APC leaders to oblivion.

Look at Oshiomhole gallivanting doing Tinubu's bidding for a 2023 presidency run against the known convention of power rotation among the six geo-political zones of the country. Anyone who thinks the country will survive that is living an alice-in-wonderland story. All this because of greed. When the shooting starts let us see how many of us the Brigade of Guards will kill and still control Abuja. Often intelligence is given that the current trend is unsustainable yet these diabolics want to drag us all down with them.

Nigeria is long overdue for a revolution against this inept useless APC government of president Buhari. These guys have been committing sacrilege against the state and to rub insult on injury at every turn of their maladministration they continue to talk down on the Nigerian people like we are gullible. An example is when the president's spokesman said at the height of the herdsmen murderous rampage: "it's better to be above ground than beneath". A quote you can directly read off the lips of Buhari himself. I mean these guys say publicly what they hear him say in secret. That's how useless the current president is. The list goes on & on including stealing the election by game of cards.
If you want to put it that way, then Nigeria was due for a revolution 15 years ago, because bad governance didn't start 4 years ago. I don't see President Buhari as the cause of the current security problems(though he encouraged it, probably out of ignorance, when he was not yet in power), neither is Buhari the most inept president we have ever had, when it comes to corruption and ineptitude,Jonathan takes the cake.

The problem with revolutions is that it breeds dictators, whether good or bad. But in the end, there is probably no good dictator. Even if the leader turns out to be a benevolent dictator and devotes his lifetime to building a great country, when he dies, all he has built will come crashing down in the inferno of political instability that will ensue.

So,as much as many will like to blame Buhari and APC,we need to put sentiments aside and understand that the structure is very faulty.

The word revolution in itself is not a bad word depending on how you adduce it. There's violent revolution and there's peaceful revolution. The Nigerian people have every right to revolt against a government that does not care for it but only exists for itself. This is a country that citizens are molested by it's own government that has not provided one dynamic social service since inception rather taking us back by every matrix of measuring social development indicators.

Such a useless president in Buhari. I regretted ever having supported that man to get there in the first place. See our people treated like garbages around the world. Our military asked to fight with lean means and dying everyday against a better motivated enemy while them and their children go abroad for the best medical care yet send wounded soldiers to die in ill-equipped hospitals. How bad can it get. Other north african countries where there's been revolution like Algeria or even Sudan has not had an absentee president like this. Enough is enough. People should wake up.
There is no such thing as a peaceful revolution. Revolution is always violent.

I feel you are displaying too much sentiments. Which known "convention of power rotation" are you talking about?, Is power rotation in the Constitution?. When people construct statements in certain ways,it makes one suspect that they are stoking an ethnic undertone. Even if we were to imagine such scenarios, where were certain ethnic groups when APC was mobilizing to take power in 2015?, same people distanced themselves from the new party, claiming it was a northern party. Now 6 years along the line, some people want to reap where they didn't sow, claiming a fictitious convention of power rotation that exists only in the dusty leaflets of Harry Potter. So the people that stood loyal and hard-working in the party should just lie down sheepishly and allow others to hijack power from them?.

I will be the first to agree that governance in Nigeria is zero, but I think it's something that should be addressed constitutionally and consciously as citizens. When you get to see the puerile intrigues that plays out on election day in Nigeria, you'll understand that this country need serious reorientation. It's a gradual process, and as time goes on,I believe we will reach that consciousness.

Here comes the Buhari apologist. Everyone knows that. I beg to differ. Not all revolutions breed dictators. Tunisia is an example and Nigeria is no exception.

The Chief of Air Staff is talking about people on Facebook who complain about NAF not getting advance aircraft like they are something you can just pick off the shelf.

SH*T, He just confirmed that the Super Tucano aircraft won't arrive till 2021. shocked shocked

He talked about potential in house production of aircraft.

He is talking about the RANN incident. He claimed the DHQ had made the report of the attack public. I am not sure they have.

Over 60% of the flight by NAF is ISR.

He claimed they don't use bombs in the NW (recall the claim of the Traditional rulers in Zamfara and its environs?)

Over 1500hours flown in the Zamfara axis.

People give human intelligence that cannot be executed due to possible civilian casualty.

Every single attack is being recorded by the ISR platform.

The enemies (Armed Bandits) in the NW are firing at NAF aircrafts in attempt to bring them down. Mostly using AK47 and rarely with Anti aircraft guns.

He talks about intelligence fusion centre where all agencies collaborate and synergies. No single incidence of NAF commiting blue n' blue on sister agencies cos of the level of coordination.

NAF has treated over 300,000 thousand civilians through her medical outreach.

First female fighter pilot and attack helicopter pilot coming soon...

Ladies, it has been confirmed, to be a Chief of Air Staff, you must have flown in an aircraft. grin grin

End.

Maybe even 2022 or 2023,and if Trump loses the elections next year, then it may be scrapped. Nigeria isn't a serious country, waiting for centuries to get a few "tatapupu" crop dusters. The Americans must be going purple with laughter, even I would have found it hilarious if people weren't actually dying.

Who knows, maybe we'd get the scanty JF-17s just in time for Jesus to appear in heaven puffing the trumpet of Armageddon.

This is just the beginning. It is inevitable. The Nomad in Aso Rock from Katsina will end up making Sowore a Nelson Mandela or MLK, the guys already a hero. More revolutionaries will spring up from a facets of Nigerian society including the Armed Forces who at some point will stop obeying unlawful orders to kill Nigerians. One thing that may preserve this republic is the Tribunal giving Atiku his presidential mandate or canceling the elections and disqualifying Buhari to run not being qualified and ordering new elections. There're options.

That is not true ! And you made a 100% misrepresentation of facts by saying;"he entered the war quite late in 1969 . Then what year was he appointed ? The civil war lasted;6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970
(2 years, 6 months, 1 week and 2 days) , so how many months did he played in the war, when he entered late 1969 that the war ended. Get your facts right ?
He is right, OBJ entered the war late, he took over from Adekunle who has almost already done all the work ..

Watched the interview on channels, the man talked with so much elegance and confidence, he's a thorough bred professional that never wants to delve into political matters. The man has achieved alot far more than all the Air chiefs in NAF history, Bubu must retain any Chief it just have to him. In the last 4years the way the airforce have being pursuing personnel development and capacity building is exceptional, Pilots are being trained enmass with very tight budget.
Without mincing words in terms of quality personnel the airforce dwarfs the army.

Only someone with the IQ of a praying mantis believes this #RevolutionNow will amount to anything meaningful, and I think you are very smart, just sentimental.

Who will Sowore's revolution put in power?,him?, or that doddering old Soyinka who is still being haunted by the spectres of the military governments?, is it that choleric orangutan,Ezekwesili?, or is it the same corrupt opposition that has more or less hijacked the initiative?. Please, be realistic.

I don't give a flying shit about Buhari, heck,I didn't even support his initial candidacy in 2015, going by his record as a hardline islamist. But we just have to say things as they are. The security issues we are seeing today is a culmination of years of maladministration, this current administration is merely trying to patch up a leaking basket. It is always easy to make noise and raise placards while on the outside.
