1 thing I like dis thread is d@ we get answers to our questions with time. We had d wed postulation, later d 1st week assurance. I think now we hav d mid july & d salary speculation info.
Please leave Banke & her Team & 4get abt how much U 'll b paid, except all dese are just meant to occupy us & keep d thread lively whc is allowed but not frivolous & unfounded info.
I still say it, it was "successful candidate 'll be contacted in july" d@ was said, so lets just fàrábàlé (relax).
Sha it is well & 1 gr8 wish is d@ we all on dis thread 'll be "successful candidates" 'cos we would make a good Team.
Cheers

Xenox: did u see assurance in career websites or PwC website? Cos I saw 'graduate trainee'. Moreover, if they advertised for assurance why would they ask you about your choice of dept?

Wh@ did U see? Advisory, or Tax?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Pwc Graduate Recruitment Nigeria – 2013 by Westlord: 11:46pm On May 30, 2013
I hv said it b4, d HR Team is "GOOD" d@ U can just fake smthngs. Wen recruitmen take place 3 questions arise:
Can U do d job?
Will U do d job?
Can we work together?
Dey 've gottng d answrs of d 1st 2 along wt its info so if U 'change' in d 3rd question, U just mite hv made an unknwn move.
Let me just summarize by sayng d@ wh@ dey want 2 see is how well U kan ''collaborate" & still b "resillent" @ d same time.
Eg, if U take lead & U ddnt meet up wt d time, not only ar U OYO, U just shwd d@ "U All" (U & Ur group) can nt deliver as 1. Rather concentrate on how "U All" 'll make it 2 d finish line.
U only pull d 'Take Lead' staunt during d one on one intrvw. U kan bobo wit any staunt U like. D Group tin shows Ur attitude 2 oda people
Those who hv done diers 'll knw d@ dis is d truth.
Good luck
Cheers

There are 2 stages; Group & One on One(or 3 or 4).
Ur ability 2 ''particpate'' & not (dominate, control, direct & most especialy articulate(whic I gues ddnt go eazy cosidrng d time, just 15mins)). Dey just want 2 see how U can contribute. So concentrate on strategizn Ur plan wt respect 2 time 1st, den on delegation of task bt b was nt all delegatn could b neccessary.
D One on One, just be calm & have case instances in respect to ''stress during work, tension, difficulty as a Team Leader/Member & most importantly 'Wrong decision made @ 1 time'. 4 dis last point, b as sincere as possible cos it can rob U of other points.
Summary, Group; (Flow, Contribute & Make sure U meet up wt time). One on One; (be Calm & @ease & b Intelligent)
I 'm nt supoz 2 do dis, it only helps in d relaxation (calmness) bt it is a whole new tin whle in d hot seat & dey knw it bt 1 tin I hv come 2 find out abt Banke & her Team; They are smart & dey can shuffle wh@ U hv behind & place it bare just wit a stare. Honstly dey (PwC HR) ar ''GOOD'' if U are @least GOOD
Good Luck.
Cheers

100 working days is 20 weeks or 5 months. Nobody is going to be doing interviews for that long. I think there are about 200-300 people left after the personality test and the interview would last for 6 weeks or so.

D@ can b correct. I 'm only working wt d best possible figure I am sure of d@ was said by Banke & also to coroborate dis, she equaly said d resumption 'll be in batchs wit d 1st in August.
Though thngs can change, I understand Ur point as I 'll want to agree wt Ur opinion.
@TheBean, Ur voice hvnt bn heard 4 some time naw or is it readng mode?

wordthots:

we were 8 in all, but i think 2 pple were missing.......
........ the other group faced their own panel.

Tanx, dis is a more comprehensive info naw I undastand y d intervw is quite a long process & it underscores y certain aspect were contractd 2 SHL.
@Joboy..., d@ 20 was actualy meant 2 b 200 bt naw I assume 100 courtesy, Wordthots. Banke stated d@ over 1000 made it 2 d verification stage & d@ dey can take 1000 people as far as they get the RIGHT peopl dey want & by carful analysis, I want 2 put d figure d@ must hv bn droped by verification/personalyty tests to bring d total figure of those still on to 1000 & wt 10 candidate per session, it makes 100 working days at most whc makes it most probable th@ its gonna b just 1 intervw stage & having a Partner there increases d@ probability.
I 'm also made 2 understand d@ its actualy a 'mass' recruitment bt nt sure of d info. Hope U got it Joboy.
Thanks

I am begining to think d@ its going to be just 1 interview. Please for those who have done, did U have a Partner on the panel of interviewers? or better still, How many made up d panel & who was the highest person & did dey say wh@ would b next?
This is 'cos it appears its 5 people per day & with wh@ Banke said (over 1000 successful) d@ 'll b @ least 20 working days. So 4 d 17th july, I 'm nt suprisd & konsidrng d fact d@ d FY ends june 30th.
Wel if U hav an idea or opinion, pls lay it.
Thanks

PwC is my 2nd quest for job hunt since I graduatd, I 'll say d peculiar thing abt dem with respect to d other(s) I knw abt is d@ dey are organizd & ''carry out a true test of who U are'', it den depends on who U ar or who Gods says U ar. Honestly, mine has been Favor 'cos 4rm my 1st experience, its nt a mata of being good, I actualy made it beyond d finals bt if U tink itz Ur strenght, U just mite hv a story like me.
So I 'll still say, fingers crossed while d music ply, if U ar 2 dance, HE 'll call U.
