How can 15k ever be enough with my pupils parent not paying for lesson fee |
Me |
PapaNnamdi:seems I have found someone that thinks like me |
EMILO2STAY:you don't get the point Ovaltine was driving at with Neil's journey to the moon. the Bible is a composition of various people of old experience and their experience with what is considered divine. It's another beautiful literature book, you may not understand my point. Neil could have sworn by the book and still lied and nothing would happen. There is no conscience attached. |
I believe there is are aliens or higher beings that made the earth what it is. This universe is a program, just like a computer program. Humans are too insignificant for Aliens to care so much about them. Look at how many humans are multi-produced everyday. New humans are being born everyday. I like to think of humanity and other aspects of creation as a converter. Humans are natural converter. I mean, a chicken consume feaces or corn, turn the faeces to meat, and humans consume them. Humans on the other hand die and is eaten/converted by the earth and worms. The whole process just leads to the fact that, for humans, life leads a general course and its end is meaningless. After all the rat race, it's still death that ends it . Only an intelligent being could have created a self-conscious converter |
Coming from an average or lower class, how do you manage to raise money to achieve your ambitions: become a notable person in the society ? How do you raise money to support your ideas and grow ? I am from the lower class of the society, i don't have brothers or sisters to depend on because they are also struggling and have their own kids already. Despite the stated fact, i believe i can make my life better than before, all it takes is just a spark. Just a spark and life can change for the better. To achieve this spark, apart from believing and hoping on God, there has to be a precursor to the spark... there has to be a light before the flame. But for a man coming form a particular part of the society, there is a level of darkness that ''life -changing-spark'' may find it hard to penetrate. You may say i am not being optimistic but i am just talking based on observed reality. I have nobody to hope on except The Most High. How did you manage to break out of the lower class of the society ? |
MT:no truer words have ever been said |

this is too much loss |
When loss and trauma is involved, we tend to express doubt of what's real. The Hausa man is going through alot of pain. Losing 4 children and a wife in a single day is hard to comprehend. Knowing fully well people he has lived with over 31 years brutally murdered his family |

I am starting to see life from a different perspective. When I was younger, when I see people shown on NTA or posted online for drug related crime and other financial based crimes , I used to wonder why they chose that line. I used to wonder why anyone will go through that kind of risk or engage in fraud. What do they want their families to feel when they see them. But the same family probably doesnt even care about them or couldn't help them. Or the family themselves also need someone to help them Now that I am older and see life as it is truly, a man would go through means he consider wise enough or "risk-worthy" to raise money and start a business, earn a living. The moment you clock 30s without anything to show for it, the worries pile up. The decision is even tougher to make when you have a child to cater for and a wife at home. The decision is harder when you have rent to pay and school fees to sort. Men engage in legitimate business because they are providers. Men engage in illegitimate businesses inorder to strive and provide and also be able to start a legitimate business. Like me, after Nysc, you fit carry CV for years and nothing meaningful will show up. There ain't no fuckin jobs or helper out there. Just you and yourself and your Ori... When hunger wire your head well well, you go know say nothing like Ori and God doesn't even care about you. If you watch football very well, hope you watched Manchester City final premier league match? You see how people plenty for the field at the end of the match ? Good! So you think one God will now chose you to be specially helped ehen? Sake of say naa you fine pass or sake of say naa you get ideas pass? Now imagine the whole world how people fill am. Over 7 billon humans on earth and you think your are special abi ? Don't misunderstand me.. i don't dispute the existence of a supreme being and I don't say I can prove the inexistent of such being. The frustration is high. The foolery in the country is just too much but let's lie to each other that things will get better. My prayers to families going to bed on empty bellies tonight. I go like commot 9ja one day. I hope my ideas bloosom into beautiful result one day. |

Donangelo:hello bro.i saw your pm |
WhizdomXX:Thanks alot. The thread was borne out of frustrations I am currently going through. No good job, no food, I am just demoralised on so many levels. Sometimes it hurts me when I look back and see I could have also engaged in learning fraud when I was in my 100 level and even before then. It hurts me to think all I have was hope that It was going to get better soon. But that soon has turned into over 4 years. The best I have had is a teaching job. A job I can't even afford to buy food or few clothes to replace the thorn ones. I wish someone would have told me how it will be after NYSC but I had no one. So I figured I could atleast help others who are still at coming to understand the reality on ground. My eyes have seen alot of of inequality, discrimination |
Lets ask graduates on Nairaland. Why? Because they are the true eyes of the Nigerian reality when it comes to employment. The aim of this thread is to vent or explain what you are currently facing as a Nigerian graduate. Also the purpose of this thread is to let those who are currently undergraduates or serving under NYSC to understand the absolute reality in the Labor market and how challenging survival is. Ask Graduates On Nairaland |
Carolcitycartel:i admire your courage and willingness to post on here despite the obvious hate and childishness running through most people. Nigerians have a "pull-him-down-syndrome". its like its embedded in their genetics. Don't let them bring you down. I have a lady i would love to marry and settle down with but i lack the needed support to raise sufficent the funds. I admire people like you lucky enough to start your own family. Goodluck sir |
