FamilyRe: How to solve this fraudulent act by Union Bank staff by 11thGoldTREE:
* Sender posted receipts of money being sent through WU

* Western Union said money has been picked and received in Nigeria

* OP said the bank said they had returned the money back to sender. (How can a money that has been received be sent back to the sender?)

By the order of the federal republic of Nairaland, with the powers confered on this law court based on sections 1 , 2, 3 and 13/14 I hereby pronounce OP guilty

This is day light robbery and no one is intelligent enough to see through her narration.

Thanks so much, I am going with my elder sister to the bank now.
What will it take me to say simple thank you to the sender after receiving it,immediately she sent the money to me on my first thread,I quickly edit the post meaning am no longer in need of help from others. Her own is more than enough,so does it mean I wanted to collect twice? Capital NO
This will be my 3rd day of going this week.If anyone is in ikorodu,he/she can confirm the story. The guy confirmed to the manager on Tuesday that truly he collected the slip from me,but since I didn't provide the sender's name,he returned it likewise the person beside him said he saw me when I came on Monday

I have Twitter account but I plan to call the manager in the morning to ask her how far, thanks.
According to her, they are tracking it from the headquarter to reveal who and where they receive it

I went to the WU this morning and was told:
the money has been received by the receiver - OP,

that any issue with the money now should be taken up by the bank 'cos
the point of payment is the bank/at the bank in Nigeria.

He called WU's main line in front of me and they also said the same thing:
the money has been received by the receiver, and
any problem should be investigated there where it was received - there.

I'm just perplexed about this whole thing. It's not even the money ('cos I'm a boss babe) but the dishonesty or theft/scam (if the bank staff did indeed steal it). For all I know, OP could be telling story that she didn't receive it and could've gotten it. There's no way for me to ascertain the truth. I know I was feeling generous that night and contemplated sending her $200 but I'm so glad I didn't 'cos if the bank staff is indeed behind the theft, he would've pocketed that much. I've learned my lesson: Nigerians are scammers and thiefs and I won't be helping anyone from Nairaland ever again.

It's really hard to help people these days. You said you needed help with 12k. I sent you 21 k (+) naira. I drove an hour away just to get to the western union. I got home late at night, sent you the receipt for proof, which has all the information you need to get the money, and also wrote the MTCN # for you in the email (albeit it's on the receipt). Today you're saying the money has been received (and the online tracker shows it has and I was happy to see you finally got it) only for you to say it wasn't you who did, smh. Nigerians, na wa ooo.

Receipt removed.

Calm down, if they stepped beyond their boundary then chase them backward or move backward to give them space. Life is honestly easy, the way we handle challenges define how life feels to us.

How can they be the offensive but your response is to kill yourself! Think clearly biko.
3 weeks ago I was on my own and this guy came and borrowed 3k from me that he wanted to use it to fix his bike. that he was going to pay back within 3days. He is an okada guy.
out of pity I gave him the 3k only for me to keep asking him for the 3k and he kept running form me for upto 1 week. then after that he even stopped running, and he tells me angrily that he doesn't have money. meanwhile okada people can even make more than 4k in a day.

so last week I went and met him for the 3k and he and his crew ended up trying to abuse me. it went on and on. some of those ones later came to apologise.
so yesterday evening I sw him and asked about my money and he stated a fight, he and two other okada friend of his. alot happened.

I am at his place again this morning only to discover that his bike has been sized due to unpaid loan and he has even ran away from town.

How I think Gboliwe spent the covid19 lockdown.
As the world is gradually recovering from lockdown effects, we are starting to understand why people's online presence increased tremendously during that period. While some choose to share a piece of their private cake around the internet some chose not too. Regardless, I can tell you how Gboliwe spent her lockdown.

Gboliwe as an organized person lives a well timed life. When the lockdown happened, she started working from home and this provided enough time for her to focus on various digital currency market. She was already welcoming customers with the clause "knock and I will open".

She traded bitcoins and made a fortune more than enough to acquire a dashcam. It was capable of recording bribe seeking security operative using the lockdown to extort Nigerian citizens. But one of the days the lockdown was relaxed, she tried driving to her freight company only for her car's engine to stalls or go off in traffic when AC is on.

She felt disappointed and had to call Mukila to check the AC. God so good, Mukila got it right and told her how the compressor was too big for the engine. She had her doubts about Mukila's diagnostics and had to confirm online if Mukila was actually right. She knows she needed the AC after all, what's a car with an AC full option for Madam grin

Sometimes when she gets bored, she devotes her time to reading books by Steve Cavanagh, John Grisham, Dan Brown and other crime solving novels. This is more of the reasons why during the lockdown she was busting scammers she came across left and right.

When she isn't reading, her wireless neck band which she got as a gift is at optimal function. You can find her listening to Christian songs and most especially Nathaniel Bassey who she believes is a huge blessing to the church. Oh least I forget, she became a prayer warrior during the lockdown. As a patriotic citizen knowing fully well how people were suffering before t and comparing it to the lockdown, she prayed earnestly to father in heaven, just like Christ prayed at Gethsemane. The only difference was that she couldn't shed blood. I can't blame her, she already knows this country is set to kill us with different burdens if we are not saved by God.

Gboliwe worried about the increase of unemployed youth in the country during the lockdown tried to set up an interview for qualified candidates by posting job vacancy through her consulting firm. She is always willing to be of help and a dating lady.

At a point she wanted to help in contact tracing of a patient who contacted the Corona virus. She kept trying to know the name of the private hospital where the patient was held.

Gboliwe is a big fan of Big Brother NIGERIA. She has been following the Program well enough to know the sets that are serious cast and the set that are most unserious housemates. She has already prepared her own eviction notice for the cast Lilo and Eric.
She doesn't fancy thier relationships and entanglements because it bores her.
Gboliwe thinks the housmates will do better getting married outside the show and have their honeymoon maybe somewhere in Dubai. Notwithstanding, when it's time to vote for her favourite contestant, she chooses to register more simcards inorder to vote Neo and Kaisha and also other housemates that catch her fancy.

One thing I have noticed about the Moniker which I used to confuse for a man is that she is kind hearted and lives less private trails.
