Unknown report from owngoal is saying that a new addition will be included in super eagles squad tomorrow. Many are suggesting that it’s either Ejaria or lookman. Personally, I hope it’s ejaria because we have so many similar players to lookman. If ejaria is included, then the search for super eagles 10 is over. Ejaria isn’t a jj okocha, but he is as good as any creative 10 in Africa now

Mikel Obihuh
Mikel won trophies collectively but individually, he wasn’t a global superstar in the form of a drogba, okocha, essien, or salah and mane. He is still a legend tho in his own right

Therealsupernerd, since you have access to osimehn, please inform him to study, shadow, and emulate Cristiano Ronaldo as much as possible. Let Ronaldo be his role model and epitome of what Osimehn aspire to be, meaning dedication to Fitness, Professionalism, diet. We don’t want a situation like obagoal, aghawonder etc that peaked for few years at Eagles and dipped out of form. Osimehn, please let Ororo be your role model
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 8:36pm On Sep 27, 2021
Heyya all these hype for victor. I hope and believe that he can sustain it because Nigeria is in a dire need for a global superstar. Since Okocha and Kanu retired, we haven’t really produced a global superstar in the mood of Drogba, eto’o, Salah or essien. The likes of Mikel and moses gets an honorable mention, but they didn’t really shine at club level. I don’t understand how Nigeria produced 5 APOY winners in the 1990’s and couldn’t replicate such feat in over 2 decades.
1) Osimehn
2) Ndidi
3) Iheanacho
4) Chuwkwueze. One of you, or all of you has to step up and take that mantle

What’s up with people and wanting their most clinical striker to play as an attacking midfielder? Iheanacho should be close to goal as much as possible. For now, the best attacking midfielder available is iwobi

Try to broaden your horizon, fam.

Chilwell is whiter than your church shoes and purely English but has been banished by his manager this season, despite being one of their top performers last season.

If you think too much that grass is orange, every plant becomes orange in your eyes.
GTFOH with that nonsense. Chillwell didn't have the type of season that iheanacho last year, not even close by a mile. Iheanacho world class performances last year, saved leicester season and even probably Rodgers job. He atleast earned the right to start this season until he Flopped but rodegers didn't give him that privilege. My friend, if you can defend such decision, then you're suffering from inferiority complex. There's no way that an English man will have such a season that iheanacho had last year and still be relegated to the bench from the on set of a new season.

TheLoneCitizen:
I think Rodgers isn't comfortable playing with two strikers and losing his wingers. This is okay in my opinion.

Now it's up to Iheanacho to determine if he's okay with that.
The kelechi guy will just be sitting on the bench comfortably as if he doesn't know that he can be a world class striker

Do you now see how stupid you sounded here? If it isn't because of favoritism and English bias, why would Rodgers be benching his best forward for Maddison and Vardy?
The bastarrd will always defend his master. Imagine a player that saved your entire season last year, your best player last year relegated to the bench from day 1 and the idiot has the nerve to defend such obvious biased decision. Ask yourself, if iheanacho was an English man and he had such a season last year of the English press will accept such decision

Bro.. with the way he plays today especially in first 55 mins he didn't impress at all
So because he didn't impress you today, you will open your mouth to talk Rubbish. Someone that has over 100 Epl goals consisting of appearances at Everton, west brom and Chelsea all under 28. We tend to overhype our own, but before doing so, make sure that he is better than his competitor (in your mind)

There was a BBC article not too long ago where Nacho stated that he was fine being on the bench and had no issues with not being started by Rodgers.

He doesn't seem to care himself
How do you drop your best player from last game? The same person that saved your season last year? Worse of all, the iheanacho guy will just be comfortable sitting on the bench without any fuse as if he lacks self believe or just want a hefty salary

I dey tell you how i take rate my players you dey tell me another thing ? go and tell ororo to stop scoring Pk nah

You think its easy to score 30 goals at belgium ?

I just dey rate my players, and i am not taking anything away from iheanacho top performance
Bro, you simply cannot compare scoring 30 goals in Belgium league vs 13 in epl. I will prefer the latter. Quality over Quantity. Also, I don’t just look at goals when hailing someone, but their overall performance and impact. Lastly, Paul onuachu deserves commendation for scoring 30 goals

Onuachu
Iheanacho
Simmy
Osimhen

My best strikers in order last season

People can say onuachu plays in Belgium , but if you think say to score more than 30 league goals in the Belgian league Na moi moi then you are lying to yourself
How can a grown up compare scoring at a Backwater league quality, (Belgium) to (Epl) note, I said Kelechi “performance” last season was world class. Meaning: His overall contribution, impact and goals playing less minutes in arguably the Best league in the world was world class. In terms of last season, aggregating and ranking performance, league, contributions
1) Iheanacho
2) Simy
3) onuachu
4) osimehn

The likes of osimehn and Iheanacho didn’t even score any penalties last season and I believe that, their numbers would had been higher

The best league in the wolrd...very debatable

Don't limit it to a season. Talk about last 3 seasons. Okay, what of this season despite the chances he has been given?

The guy is average on his best days

Close to world class...What a fucking Travestyhuh?
How can you watch Iheanacho last season and say that he is average at best? This is why I talk to people certain way here because it seems like some folks just comment ignorance to get a response. Iheanacho last season, was WORLD CLASS

Iwobi Everton's worst player of that half.

A complete liability in two consecutive games.
His best position is number 8, behind the main striker and he must find a club willing to play him at his best

That's an insult to the remaining two hardworking players

Iheanacho ke...bros you no try at all

Iheanacho is average on his best day

Very lazy and unambitious player
When I speak my mind now, they will say I am being rude. Iheanacho that scored 19 goals in all competition last season at the best league in the world and has 11 in 33 goals for Nigeria? Let’s be wise here bikonu

"Osimehn lacks Quality in tight spaces but is hard to catch in open spaces" (Napoli coach) he just reechoed what I said last season, i.e positioning himself properly. I like this new coach because he is blunt and direct which will help a player improve on his weakness
Osimehn, ndidi and iheanacho are our closest now to being world class and we must support, constructively criticize and promote them as much as possible
