No blame there, but thanks for the link.
I got nothing against schooling with africans, it was the way you sounded like the school's admitting students indiscriminately.

4 Play:
It is also easy to gain admission into and there are a lot of Africans in the school.Other like Unis are london South Bank,East London,Greenwich,Westminster. Many of them, including London Met, are former Polytechnics that have been recently elevated to University status
Cheers.

Hey people I got an offer to study at MSc level at Uni Westminster's Harrow campus and have seriously been considering it but 4play has dampened my enthusiasm a bit saying its easy to get admitted and theres loads of africans. Can anyone please tell me exactly what is not so great about Uni Westminster? It didnt read/look bad to me but then, what do I know from here?

Mr lagbaja youve managed to keep mum all along and I don't think thats fair given the apparent sweat people have put into your thread, or are you confused?

cool4ny:
Nairalanders, please, pleaseand please leave this topic, i believe there are more important issues we can all discuss and contribute intelligently, i believe the topic is a sham.
Then you go on and write two posts?!

cool4ny:
If you are truly making the money in Nigeria then you must smart and i don't think your girlfriend should talk you into thinking about moving.
Its his wife, not girlfriend!

Travel › Re: Travel Warning To Nigeria. by 1forall: 2:33am On Jan 07, 2007
Truth hurts! The information has been as negative as that for ever, I remember reading something similar as far back as 2002, its on the US department of state website, http://travel.state.gov and nigeria is not the only country, imagine what they would write there about Iraq, Afghanistan etc. There really is no great falsehood in the info there, maybe a little exaggerations but its basically the truth.

Romance › Re: Would You Prefer A Virgin by 1forall: 1:46am On Jan 06, 2007
Rita, I appreciate virginity in a woman, and would prefer to marry one.
People, one's perception of virginity is based on values, notice there as many who speak for it as there are against.
Whatever your stand, please respect other people's choices.

Gbenga, thanks for your honesty, I therefore dont expect objective judgement from you. Diyobdw, shes gained a lot of experience hanging out in western entertainment circles and I didnt expect less from her at the creative academii. Thanks eurphoria for addressing the comments from manchester, need I say more?

SvS, I think its improper for you to say a particular thread is only for members in a certain region? I thot this forum had global spread, Seun what do u think?

Ronke Apampa: Well I think she's pretty attractive but agree she could improve on her professional skills. Saw her when the BEN crew were in LA covering the Live8 media event and I thot she looked a little out of place, overwhelmed maybe. I mean she doesnt compare well with the likes of Giuliana Depandi and Samantha Harris so maybe she shouldnt bother trying, better to carve her own niche and stick to it.

VI Pry Sch is on Aboyade Cole, directly opposite Mobil Producing, VI, so the easiest way to get there would be via Ozumba Mbadiwe, just turn right (into Aboyade Cole) at the Mobil junction and voila, the school is right there on your right.

Career › Re: Do I Relocate Abroad Despite Having A Bright Career Here In Nigeria ? by 1forall(mod): 9:54pm On Jan 02, 2007
Question: If you do relocate, what'll be your status wherever you go? If youre going wherever with a visit visa then just forget it. Do you want to start off there doing ANY job that'll barely take care of you let alone your family just because you want to live abroad? If you have residency status or better, then you will have to decide for yourself after carefully considering all factors. But for someone who earns N15m annually here I expect the challenge to be how to increase your income instead of how to move continents? Listen to lafem and don't rock the boat, especially when youre most likely gonna want to come a settle in naija eventually.
With your kind of income, it shouldnt be difficult to visit many world destinations for the exposure your wife craves so much.
My advise: Every year, decide with your wife where you guys'll visit as tourists (and not necessarily UK/US, there are just too many other options).

Business › Re: Got Any Sane Business Ideas Anyone? by 1forall(op): 2:35am On Jan 01, 2007
Abi seun I tire o.
but my fear is - once i tell somebody the person might hijack it. Please, if anyone is really serious let him contact me jaittojeffrey@yahoo.com or call my business line on +2348020548243. However, the person should be ready to let us meet and discuss it one-on-one.
And what gives u the impression that the person can't go on and hijack it even after meeting u? I believe no one can perfectly hijack another person's business idea, anyone who does does so at his own risk, I mean what if u don't have knowledge of the field, or what do u do when u come across unscripted situations?
And then really, the market in naija is so big that theres more than enough for everyone (have u heard the census results?). For example; I bet no one is seriously thinking of creating another forum like nairaland even though the market exists, afterall, therere only 65K+ users here; bottom line, share please, thats the big idea!

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: When Is Adenuga Coming Back To Naija? by 1forall: 10:17pm On Dec 29, 2006
hi pony I personally don't think you should hang your employment chances on adenuga's coming back because I doubt if he's returning soon, I have a relative who works for conoil and thats what I hear. I think theyve been employing even in his absence, maybe u should press further and try to find out whats going on (abi them just dey post you). If you can, go to their saka tinubu office in lagos, its where their HR dept is (isnt that where u were interviewed?) and try snooping around a bit (I hope u have a staff member's name to ask for), even while filling the visitor's book try to scan the 'purpose' column of previous visitors to see what people have been up to, I'm sure u'll see 'interview' so don't rest on your oars waiting for adenuga o!
