If romancing with GEJ was the only reason the company was freed why hasn't this new government seized it back. One thing with zombies like you is that you feel you know everything even when you don't know shit.. And when you are tackled you result to insults. And for your iinformation, there is no bank that ifeanyi Ubah will work into that he won't be able to secure loans. You call him a fraud but he is good at what he is and he is a household name why you are a faceless rat who spends all his time picking dirts on established men.. Nigger go make money and stop killing yourself studying clean or dirty money. We need to change the mentality of hating on every made man. I still maintain I started hearing about ifeanyi Ubah long before the Subsidy thing and the man's dynasty will still stand long after Subsidy. And I don't know what you mean by otimpku and I don't care to know.. The annoying thing is that you can't even prove the poo you are forcing yourself to believe. And what happened after amcon seized his company, why did you stop by just telling us his company was seized? Scarcely! Refer to my first comment and Google the meaning! Apparently it's not only your reasoning ability that is poor, your sights are also bad! I was concise because I thought you were knowledgeable about the topic you choose to discuss. Google the reason Acess bank took Ifeanyi Ubah to court and why he fell out with Coscharis. While you are it find out why Amcon had to seize his company which was freed up to him because of his romance with GEJ through his TAN campaign! Where do I even start, you don't know what an Otimpku is and you argue as if you know all about Ifeanyi Ubah? In future argue about subjects that you know about, you know nothing about Ifeanyi ubah! Astute Billionaire that cannot secure credit facility with out help...lol the joke is on you, your probably the only Nigerian that doesnt know that Ubah is a fraud. Frankiss44: Ifeanyi Ubah entered the oil Subsidy game a little bit even though he later rose to become one of the biggest players in the game. But it must interest you to know he entered the game as an already made billionaire and became an instant success because he is an astute business man with history. The link below should explain how this man started his business empire even as a teenager. He made his billions from tyres exportation to Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Liberia. So read and be wise and stop spitting rubbish ignorantly son..
www.recordsng.com/2015/06/biography-dr-ifeanyi-ubah-ceo-capital-oil-gas-nigeria.html?m=1 You are refusing to use your head and I wonder why! An astute business man or a crook who could not secure credit facility from Nigerian banks? Since you are an otimpku, you probably know Comas madukas role in helping your astute businessman to secure a loan from Access bank and how it turned out. Honest Billionaire my foot! Amcon probably seized his company then because he was too honest! And watch the shit you read online, I can create a biography or write up about anything and send you a link! |

Frankiss44: Sorry I meant capital oil which accounts for more than 30 percent of Nigerians consumption. Dangote isn't a politician but that does not mean he isn't into politics. You never can tell what these men do with their billions to stay in good terms with the government of the day so don't come here quoting bill Gates and Steve Jobs like you know them in and out... I tell you with all conviction that their is scarcely a honest Billionaire in Nigeria! How do you honestly make money that runs into billions in a country with poor enforcement of contracts laws and non existing intellectual/private property rights? Honest Billionaires are often owners of cutting edge technologies, Family inheritance, astute businessmen with a history, showbiz people and lottery winners. The reason a number of this category of persons are Billionaires is because they operate in environs with strong intellectual and private property protection rights. You think conniving to defraud government or selling inferior products in place of original ones makes your money clean? Before you label a rich man honest, look for the source of his wealth! Which investment in Ghana? When was the first time you heard about Ifeanyi Ubah? What is his credit history or you think it is possible to honestly acquire billions over night? Take a chill pill, Ifeanyi Ubah is one of the crooks that benefited from the oil subsidy sleazes, dnt tell us a story we all know. |

why cant a state like lagos publicly show its budget nd spendings. wat baffles me more is dat a state like lagos wit all d intelectuals leavin dere will stilll do a secret budgetting system and d citizens will be lookin without sayin anything, even when they pay tax and know lagos budget is funded by tax dey pay.

senatorbayor: Good thoughts and reasoning though!
Let's not join the frays of those who do media trial and condemnation.
Let's remember that every accused remain so until the court proves or find him guilty.
That an accused gets bail and join with his family does not denied him privileges of life.
The law does not recognised emotions as some of us may want it to be.
If we are to be judgemental in our opinion, I can bet you, lots of the politicians we celebrate today should be putting on veils but alas, they find their way into our political space, do one or two political abracadabra and they win our hearts and the gullible youths begin to defend them and call them hero of democracy.
Until we change the law to ; you are guilty until the court pronounce you innocent, then we must not call any accused criminals or thieves until such cases are proven and they are found guilty as charged.
Majority of those who constitute the ruling party today have one corrupt case or public perception about them, yet they join others to cast aspersions on an accused like them.
Let's move for judicial reforms, executive political will to implement reforms, legislative ideology to amend archaic laws to conform with present happenings. Then we are at liberty to call an accused criminal. What if the court finds them not guilty based on the evidence provided, do we retract our bad comments about the accused?
Today, OBJ who is the chief initiator of corruption in the NASS has written an hypocritical letter accusing them of same ; I'm sure he will be called an hero of anti corruption soon and all his past deeds of introducing Ghana must go politics and do or die will be forgotten without his apology.
I won't join in the media propaganda but wait for the court to decide. The river state election is an eye opener.
The court is not a father xmas to dash out judgement based on public perception and emotion but how you can prove your case with proven evidence.
Nigeria shall be great again. Amen Its not about media propaganda, celebrate him after he clears himself! Been an accused in a criminal case should be seen as odious in Nigeria. |

In as much as I appreciate the owner of Nairaland for this platform offered to Nigerians to air their views on important issues that affect their lives, I believe that topics like that of Metuh having dinner after regaining freedom should not make front page because of the moral impact on the psych of young Nigerians. Topics celebrating accused persons/thieves, showing people who's irresponsible actions put our country in this pitiable condition having a good time is not just an insult to all good Nigerians who try to be upright in their dealings and who work hard to make sure our societies are rid of the likes of Metuh, but it also sends the wrong message to young Nigerian men and women telling them that it pays to be corrupt. Nairaland has become a major parts of peoples life and therefore influences the way they perceive what is right or wrong.
Please the moderators should take note, Nairaland is already big enough and would still attract huge traffic if it does not post immoral and corrupt persons promoting topics like this one.
Seun, please call your moderators to order, do not make Buhari's task impossible because, topics like this will cultivate the culture of corruption keeping Nigeria at this abysmal state. Consider it a way of giving back to Nigeria. |

If GEJ were wise he would lay low, arrange secret consultation with the Federal government, cooperate with them and equally tell his ally's to cooperate and make refunds or he supports the government with information that will send them all to jail. Instead he is busy jumping around paying some smart guys who are trying to get their share of the yams in exchange for some stupid award. The Economist has just given him a piece of the American mind. Obaigena seems to be the smartest of the pack in this Dasukigate thus far, he asked to be given time so as to make a refund. Same cannot be said of Metuh, who would rather die than refund part of the diverted funds even when confronted with substantial evidence by the Efcc, funds he eventually posted to meet bail.

Fashola your much acclaimed hero forged a legacy entirely of his own and surpassed his predecessor's achievements despite their several tiffs and oft having his hands tied. Buhari no doubt has been dealt a bad stack of cards but he has more than made up for that by owing no man anything. He has no present encumbrances, tied to no apron strings of people or institutions. He has the proverbial yam and knife. He has it all, so he and no one has any excuses for whatever outcome his decisions produce. MrDoGood: My brother have you ever been to south south?
You will weep for them.
The government extract the crude oil from their land and use is on other parts of the country especially the north.
My friend every you in the south is supposed to be on the payroll of the government. We're talking about going into agriculture, which land Dem say make doz youth from the south use? My brother, those guys don't derive joy in destroying those pipeline.
Buhari should use his head and stop acting like a strong fool. I lived in Kporghor a community in Ogoni for 2years. I have been to Bayelsa Delta and other NDstates, I be confirm PH boy. The Amesty has not made ND better, it has enriched a very microscopic few, the Amnesty was not designed to work but to settle criminals. There is need to draw up an enduring all inclusive plan, the environment and locals need to be catered for. |

happney65: Bros,I am not a Fan of Isreal and would never be..But Iran supports terrorism and the US Still went ahead and negotiated with them..Or what about the Guys that held a Building Hostage in Oregon with Guns..Where they bulldozed with Guns by the FBI?Noooo..The agitation of the Niger delta is on point..I bet we would be going through Hell if the North where to be the ones with Oil..As long as nobody is killed like BH,whatever they do to their Govt and the FG is on point..I guess you think OBJ was a Fool to have even decided to negotiate with them before Yaradua came.. The Niger Delta guys are over pushing their luck, do I blame them NO...they have been issuing threats for some years now and government has always been at their patronage, nothing last forever as it was just inevitable that one day they would be bluffed by the government. And the negotiation with them was not done in good fate...it has not benefitted the communities. Have you been to the oil producing regions in the SS? why do you think the amnesty should be continued? This and many more issues are the reasons we find ourselves in a round box in Nigeria. The government does not look for sustainable solutions. And the examples you give are very much different from what the Niger Delta militant's are doing, or did the Oregon guys keep blowing up government facilities? are they threatening the government constantly? and stop talking about Iran already! Read so that you can understand the world political economy and the order of power play. Every country except African countries of course (that concern themselves with irrelevant things) is a terrorist depending on which country you ask. Power tussle in the international political atmosphere is a negative sum game...the winners (west) take it all. If you accuse Iran of supporting terror what do you say about America that overthrows government at will, bombs countries for flimsy excuses and incurring large civilian casualties in the process? and they are still the ones that have a long list of who is a terrorist and who is not. Read, analyse and come to your conclusion. In all of these the difference between these countries and Nigeria is that they terrorize other countries so that there country is always stable. But Nigeria steals from and kills it people. |
