seunblack: Tanks bro,am actually looking to buy a toyota camry tiny light, got it for 1.2m in lagos but 950k in cotoun, dats why am confuseThere are lots of Lagos-cleared tiny light on this forum going for 950k and even less. With 950k purchase in Cotonou, you will still have to pay for getting the car to Nigeria, and I don't think custom duty has been included in the 950k for Cotonou price. With Lagos purchase, you just pay and drive the car away. Payment is even easier if you have subscribed to your bank`s internet banking facility. You just transfer the money to the car dealer from your phone. You don't have to think of what might happen to your car while it is being transported from Cotonou to Nigeria. Search this forum and you will see lots of tiny light below 1 million. |
Buy your car in Lagos. No stress or huzzle is involved. Just pay and drive away! |
CAPITAL NO. APC can never be the solution to our problems. In Nigeria, politicians are being recycled. The same failed poliTHIEFcians (sorry poliTRICKcians) from ACN and the other fringe parties are the ones who will make up APC. If the so called APC makes significant headway at the polls, some politicians will decamp from PDP to join the winning team because they want to keep getting their share of the national cake. APC can only be a solution to Nigeria`s problems if and only if angels will be brought in from heaven to be members of the party. APC is just like putting an expired milk in new can. The milk still remains spiolt. APC is just all about packaging and rebranding! |
Before nko? |
I think it is option 9. Take up arms, travel to Maiduguri and start fighting against Boko Haram. That is the best way to show that you love Nigeria! |
I remember writing a job test for ThisDay Newspapers on 1st September 2012 @ Nigerian Law School, Lagos. Omo the test hard like rock. If you are going to use the difficulty of the test to judge the pay of the staff, an entry level staff should be earning 4 milla per annum. Thank God I failed the test. |
If Boko Haram gets amnesty, be sure another terrorist group will spring up before five years. They will start killing people and doing all sorts of nonsense because they know they will also get amnesty. Don't forget amnesty comes with largesses for the group getting it. The real solution to BH is not dialogue or amnesty. It is military solution. Why does the government pay billions to the police and the military if they can't fight BH? It simply means our security agencies are drainpipes of public funds. Let the president declare full war on BH and deploy the military and police to finish them. |
It is funny. Only mad men do it. |
I use GTBank and can only say those guys are getting really terrible. Last year or so, I made a withdrawal from their ATM in garki abuja, the machine trapped my card. I went there the following day they asked me to fill form for another card, took them 1 full month to give me d card and charged me 1k. Last good friday, same thing happened again. I had no money for easter. Went there and have filled another form, waiting for another 1 month and will be charged another 1k. All for their own faulty ATM. 3rd time, I will write to their MD whoever he is.
Incredible. This is even funnier than the topic. Can't they just retrieve the card for you? I used to think retrieving trapped ATM cards was rocket science, but now, I know it is simpler than ABC! |
Do what I say, not what I do. |
Gba kamu. (Accept my fate) |
Maybe the barber wants to scare bush rats out of the man`s hair. |
I would contact the person who issued the cheque to me and explain to him. He would contact his bank for confirmation that I have not cashed the cheque. Then, I would advise him to do a bank transfer to my account so that the foolish rat will not eat the cheque a second time. Finally, I would tell the issuer of the cheque to advise his bank to place a stop cheque order on the cheque number of the cheque eaten by the stupid rat. |
Truth is, no job is perfect, so I will advise you to go with the first one to call you for training and stay there even if you get a call from the second one. If you meet bankers, they will complain about their job. Policemen will do the same. I don't think absolute job satisfaction actually exists. It is a mirage, so go with whichever calls you first. |
Good ride, but you no come put price. No be say I wan buy, but state the asking price. |
My guy, there is nothing like MTN past questions. If you have been invited for a test, go for it with an open mind, because you may be asked just anything. |
IMF Imposing Misery Forever |
This card is a waste of public funds.900 million could have done a lot to impact directly on the lives of the masses. The card will only be effective during the tunure of Mimiko. In a country bedevilled by policy somersaults, white elephant projects like this will only live as long as their originators remain in power. You don't have to be a professor to be lead a state. You only need common sense. |
Great o! The school is a total package. OOU for life! |
If you still stay with your parents in Lagos, get a cheap accommodation for them and move in with them. Then, you can recover financially and get an apartment for you and your wifey. Pls don't borrow to get an accommodation. Or better still, you may throw more light into where you stay now so that people can be better informed to advise you. |
I am with Union Bank. I am enjoying the job, but I must confess that I almost turned down the job because of negative things I read about banking on this forum. Enjoy ma brother! |
All bankers know that their jobs (like every other job) are not permanent, so I don't think bankers will be jittery because of unrealistic targets. Appraisals are not based on deposit mobilisation alone. There are lots of other parameters used to appraise bankers. Please give bankers a break on this forum! |
A girl told me she had tears in her gonads. I laughed hilariously that day. |
It is a combination of sheer greed and hopelessness. You won't see these girls going out with poor married men. The married man must not necessarily be super rich. Once he is richer than the hungry girl and can take care of her needs, she is good to go. These girls don't even think that they can work hard, settle with a young guy and become wealthy in life. Greed plus hopelessness. |
They had an AGM last week where some ghost shareholders commended the company and expressed optimism at her growth potentials. Naija for show. My dear parents also lost money to daar shares. |
The car should also win the award of the ugliest car in the world. |
Follow your heart. As a banker, I understand the level of insecurity of the job, but when running from insecurity, one must pray not to run to more insecurity. I know a banker who left banking for oil and gas. Lo and behold, the oil company had problems and he was laid off seven months after joining them. So follow your heart and hope for the best. |
It is up to your husband to send the intruder away. If he can't, you just have to be diplomatic with the intruder. Nobody can advise you here. You should work more on your husband and tell him why you need your space. |
Anything! Put yourself in the position of the interviewer, and think of what you will ask someone you will be interviewing for that job role. You may also want to know about developments in the banking sector and current issues in Nigeria. |
Hello. Relax. The test is just for the coy to know about your health history, so they can know how to manage you when you come on board. You will never be dropped. |
Its a shame those in government may not fight for these people because they are busy fighting for their own pockets. |
I was just looking for a job, any job. I got a government job with a good pay and I was satisfied with it. There was a change in government and I lost the job. Now, I work with bank and I earn four times of what the government job was paying. |
